So many adorable dogs that need homes , one in particular touched my heart , her name was Tasha. Took my granddaughter and she loves to see all the dogs and cats .

Very clean. Not a lot of cats this time, which is kind of nice to know they're finding homes quickly. Lots of dogs, most of which were very friendly.

Last New Years Eve we saw Dixie's picture and fell in love! Safe Haven was patient with us playing with her and had all her 7 years worth of medical records. We were impressed with how clean the facility was and how friendly the staff were. Thank you, Safe Haven! We love our old girl and are looking forward to our first Christmas together ❤

Real friendly staff. :) Always very thoughtful and helpful. I appreciate their transparency. For example if a pet would not thrive in a home that has other pets or children they let you know that upfront. They work really hard to help get pets into their forever home! It’s always comforting to know when you adopt a pet it’s not about the money, rather the pets best interest. They also help by recommending resources to pet parents looking for certain things.

Largest and cleanest animal shelter I’ve ever seen. Everyone was great and we adopted a fantastic 4/5 year old dog that we love. A great experience!

The staff are friendly and the facility is clean, but we were given miss information about the dog we adopted, we were told that she was fine with cats, but that is NOT the case. She tried to eat my cat immediately. It’s not her fault, she has a high prey drive, but this was not disclosed to me even though I specifically asked about it. We were told that she was not aggressive with cats and she certainly is.

Such an amazing place, everyone is so friendly, understanding, and not at all judgemental. I was provided all the information needed and in able I just had the best experience. If you are wanting to adopt or bring in an animal then this is the place, all of the animals are treated with so much love and compassion.

An excellent top of the line facility! Staff is friendly and helpful. We got our kitty from them. His name is Casper. He was found as a dying little kitten at Linn-Benton Community College. Safehaven got his health back. We have had him 9 years.

Second dog adoption from them. First was 9 years ago in their old place...still have the dog. Staff is always so friendly and try to give as much information on the dog as they can. Prices are a little higher on the adoptions now but I feel it's worth it to save an animal plus they seem to take very good care of them.Their retail prices were actually pretty reasonable.

Whew nightmare experience for me after this I'll never adopt from safe Haven I wouldn't dare adopt a dog that's recently been spayed either ???? they allowed me to adopt a dog without knowledge that she had an infection that she was bleeding or that she was on painkillers that pretty much made her lethargic most of the time, medical staff called me the day after I adopted her and told me she should not have been adopted especially without knowledge of any of her medical issues supposedly they did a exam on her just before handing her over to me but within an hour of going home I took her temperature and it was 103.5, I brought her back several times over the bleeding they claimed was normal until one day she bled out along with a large blood clot at that point they seem to realize that they needed to help me get her to a real vet .the supervisors are disrespectful they put on a friendly front but they have absolutely no idea what they are doing.safe Haven is all about money this is a puppy mill! Go to another humane society!
