We are so happy to have found West veterinary clinic/ hospital. The staff is friendly, professional and kind. They took great care of our grandchildren's golden retriever before we gifted him for Christmas. There's never any wait, scheduling appointments is fast and easy. We are getting a new puppy and will definitely use their services. We really couldn't be happier with their care.

On 1-4-22,my mom and I took our dog "Bandit" to the West Main Animal Clinic. It's a gimme that we pet lovers only want the best for our extended family members. At W.M.A.C. Bandit received his regular check-up, and seen by Dr. (Vet.)herself. She was thorough and went over Bandit completely. I am one who is very hard to please when it comes to my furry friends, and I am going to say, and recommend you go to W.M.A.C. on your next visit to your Vet. .. The appt. was easily scheduled, under 5min. waiting room time, and team of Vets. answered ?'s,and addressed all concerns.. 4 stars!!! David Mitchell

I really like this hospitals bedside manner with my furbabies. We recently had to put our elderly Chihuahua down and they handled him with love and grace. We received a condolences card in mail signed by their staff. It was personal and heartfelt. Much appreciated.

These people are amazing. The staff is very friendly very friendly. They got my dog in for stitches in the blink of an eye and they had never previously seen him before. The cost was pretty reasonable and it was an all around great experience. more than anything I think these guys really have compassion for animals and it shows.

I had my cat seen here. When I called to make the appointment I asked if they were a fear free clinic and they said yes after more investigation they are NOT A CERTIFIED FEAR FREE CLINIC They were rough with him my cat was terrified and is traumatized will not go back the vet didn't interact with my cat at all except to perform a test on him which made it worse he is used to a vet that talks to him and pets him. I will drive 45 minutes to my old vet before I ever go back here. It's been almost a week since we were seen and he still isn't back to his normal self.

The staff was so helpful and caring, thank you for being there for my pet and me.

I'm so grateful to have found this place. Each time I visit, the staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I've never been swindled into paying for a service that was unnecessary or received subpar service. Most recently, my cat needed surgery since she ate something that couldn't be passed. Not only was everything affordable (relatively speaking), the staff has been so great with her after surgery care. I'm definitely a customer for life.

They are so good with animals. Ours came to us as an abused animal and they handled him so well. He was visibly shivering and stressed but were able to make him feel comfortable enough to not give much pushback.

They are so nice ,my dog was feeling better before we even left, had a ear allergy problem. So happy he's feeling better ????????

The two stars are due to the fact that I absolutely loved the vet and vet assistant the first time I stopped in. They were very kind, caring, and gave us peace of mind. However, calling to schedule (every time, not just once), the receptionist is not friendly. This time she was very rude when I told her I couldn't manage to come in at the one time she gave (due to having a job). So, I told her *very kindly* that I would try to find somewhere else to get us in. These phone calls made me feel as though their priority is not the animal. It's money and making it through the day.

My doggie loves her attention she gets from them.

Neutered my cat. Did a great job. He didn't have much pain and healed very fast.

If you are elderly or disabled, don't go here. They were very disrespectful to me by not helping me open the door with a carrier and paperwork in my hands, and I had to ask someone to open the door when I left since my hands were full again. They handed me a piece of paper to fill out and I had to ask for a clipboard, since the only place to write on was an exam table, that I would have to stand at. Not a bit thoughtful. They came in the room at least 3 times asking questions, and some of the questions were repeats. The doctor's notes were also very rude. I answered all their questions, yet they didn't document my answers correctly. Instead they said the following, "Owner keeps talking and I can't get any information," and a second time said she couldn't get more info because I was talking too much. All I ever did was answer their questions. I did try to explain to them that my female senior cat was very insecure and fearful, and asked that when they draw her blood, that I am present, so she knows that I am in the room with her and she's safe. They refused. Then when they came out from the back room, they said they couldn't draw blood because of her behavior, and she would have to be sedated. Obviously, they weren't listening to me, or they just didn't care. Plus, she had lost almost 2 lbs, and I felt for safety reasons, she needed to put her weight back on before sedating her. They should have considered that. They tried to appear professional, but were disrespectful instead. I am never going back.
