Our regular vet wasn’t able to get us in to fix my girls nail so my husband took her here, I can say I was impressed with the care and how the seemed to care about her I am so thankful that they could get her fixed up. I wasn’t too sure about leaving my dog since we never leave her with anyone but she seemed to be fine when we went to pick her up. A little more than I wanted to pay but it was worth it so she wasn’t in pain. Thank you guys for taking care of Mary Jane!

Over this past weekend my dog had an emergency and needed to be helped asap. One of my family friends recommended us to this pet hospital which we have never been here before. When we got there they were able to get him right in, and help him. They saved his life! And were the most caring pet hospital I have ever been to. 110% recommend bringing your dog here!!!

We saw Dr Heinz, not our normal vet, and she was wonderful! Very thorough, compassionate and explained our options including costs before moving forward. All the personnel were wonderful.

Our newly adopted kitten got sick over the holiday weekend while our regular vet was closed and I decided to make an appointment to bring him into Woodland West since they’re open on weekends - what a great decision! The entire appointment went quickly, the prices were reasonable and the staff and veterinarian were all very friendly and knowledgeable. It’s great to know we have a reliable option if our neighborhood vet isn’t available!

I’ll be nice and just sum this entire operation in one word - Incompetence. Avoid, too many option in Tulsa to deal with this place.

Can’t say anything good about a vet that amputated the WRONG toe on the WRONG foot of a dog. Not even an apology??? This speaks volumes. I wouldn’t wish this on any animal or owner. Want good advice? Take your animal somewhere else.

We adopted a dog not too long ago through Puppy Haven Rescue and were told the first year’s treatment on the puppy would be taken care of through this veterinary hospital. To sum up our experience, they’re not the most professional, friendly or best to mask their attitude. From brief comments about our poor choice of care for our current 4 year old dog and the medication we’ve chosen for him. To how we could just clip the current pups nails on our own, so simple yet we prefer it be done by the vet. My point is we’ve receive better care and assistance at the Small Animal Hospital of Owasso than at this establishment. They listen to your concerns and advise without judgement on treatment. If I can afford to get the dogs groomed in any way or form they don’t just tell me, well you could just do it. Woodland West, please work on your staffs, doctors and nurses included, professionalism and customer service.

I promptly for my appt Upon check-in they took a copy of my driver's license; I found that strange. Then I was directed to a feline exam room where I waited for 20 min without any update so I packed up my kitty and made my way out. Before leaving (30+ min now) I called their front desk and told them I got abandoned and without any remorse to they emptily said "sorry we couldn't help you today" and that was it. This place cares numbers and volume moreso than about pets, owners, timliness, or much else. Go elsewhere.

Woodland West is a perfect place to make your primary care for you dogs. We just got our first puppy and we weren’t sure which vet to trust, however after being referred by a friend we chose to go with Woodland West and we don’t regret it. They get you in quickly and prices are reasonable. All of the staff are very welcoming and helpful.

These people are more than just a business they don’t just care about taking your money they care about making sure your pet is okay. They don’t just do it for the money they do it because their hearts are with the animals. Whenever I thought I was going to have to put my dog down they came through and saved my fur baby for a more than reasonable price. They truly haven’t just saved his life, they’ve saved me from heart break too. I really can’t thank them enough.

I have found the staff and both veterinarians to be professional, compassionate and extremely good with my pets. I also think their prices are better than others, by far.

First I would like to say my personal encounters with any staff have been pleasant. I started going to Woodland West during Covid because it was recommended to me. Most of the visits during Covid were pleasant enough, you had to call when you got there and they would come out and get your pet and then the vet would call you to go over the appointment. It felt impersonal at best, but I understand the circumstances. The few bumps I encountered was that I was unaware that I could choose which vet I wanted to see, nothing like that was communicated or offered during the time I would call and make appointments. Another incident was when I called to make an appointment, I was told by the young lady that my dog only needed 1 shot. I made the appointment and because you were not allowed in, when I went to check out, I was charged for other procedures I didn't authorize at the time of the appointment. I felt bad that I had to argue my case, and I told them that I was sorry but it was just wrong for them to do things without the owner's permission. I would assume that when they make the appointment they would indicate what the dog was being seen for. Last bump, I called to make an appointment to get my dog spayed and was told to come in and get blood work done at least 3 days prior to the procedure. I asked for a general quote for a dog that was about 13lbs. I was not told about additional charges for bloodwork, I assumed it was all part of the procedure. I also requested a certain vet that she had seen before. She gave me the information and I took my dog in for the required blood work, at which time the receptionist gave me pre-op instructions and I was not told that there was a fee that day. I show up for my "scheduled" appointment and they can't find it. They see where I came in for the blood work, but no appointment for her procedure. She books the appointment on the spot, of course with a different vet, but at this point I need to follow thru. I pick her up and when they check me out, the bill was almost $100 more than what I was quoted. She asked me if I did the blood work and I said yes and then she asked if I paid for it. I said no, I wasnt' told to, only the pre-op speech. Well they wanted to charge me $50 for the blood work to which I again said I'm sorry, but that was not told to me and you can't just add charges without the customer's knowledge. I told her the quote I was given. Another receptionist came out and explained that the blood work is usually paid for and then re-imbursed at the time of the appointment. I guess this a standard practice, but if it is included, then they were trying to double-charge me. My bill was still $40 more than I expected to pay to which she used the dogs extra 2lbs as the excuse. Bottom line, the vets are great, but the front desk personnel need additional training (none of them seem to know what the other is doing, i.e. my original appointment was lost) and they need a smoother process for check-in and check-out. There are several receptionist, none of them rude, but it just seems like a lot of turn-over. My most recent experience came across as disorganized and confusing, and the pricing seems sketchy, which is scary for the customer, because we all know we will pay for our fur babies. It's a great place, it's too big for me because it comes across as impersonal, disorganized and no one is on the same page. Again, the staff are pleasant enough and you can tell they love the animals.

I am a foster with a local animal rescue that uses Woodland West for their veterinary needs. Honestly, I never leave negative reviews and really try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I really am an easy going person, and very non-confrontational, but I have just about had it with this place’s lack of professionalism. I have had multiple issues with Woodland West’s staff being less than friendly, and very disappointed in their communication skills. Honestly the only reason I am giving two stars is because the veterinarians I have dealt with have always been informative and kind. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the rest of their staff. Today isn’t the first time I was met with a rude staff member, and I know I am not the only foster this is happening to. My biggest fear for the rescue is that people will stop fostering due to the fact they do not want to have to deal with Woodland.

Our 5 year old Golden has been a patient here since we first got him 4 1/2 years ago and felt they charged a little too much but was OK with that. About 4 weeks ago our boy was having a terrible itching fir and his back was quivering like crazy. We had just returned from Florida so thought it might be sand fleas or a reaction to the new topical flea and tick med we had just started him on. I was told they couldn’t get him in for 4 days which was unacceptable. We found and vet with better ratings who said bring him in in a couple of hours. The new vet was and is great and Buddy is doing great. Buddy is on Apoquel for his allergies and his new vet assumed we were participating in Apoquel’s awards program and I had to tell him we had not been advised about that, another unacceptable situation. We have now found a new veterinarian for our Buddy

They were awesome! I was in a hurry to get to work but I was having a puppy emergency and they worked with me to get little pup taken care of. I had called 3 other places before and they were the only ones willing to help me out. Pup is feeling much better too. They were great with him.

I rarely share reviews and if I do it’s only positive. However I feel that I need to share this to warn others. I have had the absolute WORST experience with Woodland west with both my dog and cat. Most recently we took our sweet kitty PK in for a quality of life exam expecting to have to put her down, after the exam the vet was sure she could be treated and managed medically. I picked her up from the hospital two days later after they reported that she was “doing great” and “had improved significantly” and she died in my arms three hours after getting her home. Not only am I grieving such a loss after being misled by the vet but they also hiked up the charges!!! I agreed to $750 when we went over the charges and when I went to check out they charged me almost $1,300!!! I am devastated because there were several similar issues with woodland west over charging us with our dog too who passed in October! Our next pet will NEVER be brought here. I will find a vet that is honest about both medical management as well as the financial commitment. Do yourself a favor and find another vet! You will be glad you did!!! Allison Finley

LET ME TELL YOU... ... about my wonderful experience with Woodland West! My two wonderful cats, Kyle McFurguson and Dillon Von Rawrs needed some TLC and I needed a vet that would care for them without breaking the bank. I knew exactly what my costs were before my kittens were seen, so there were no surprises financially. I received meds for my cats and clear instructions on the aftercare that they needed, and even a follow up email with written details in case I forgot anything. I’m relieved to say that I’ve found my long term vet for my little guys. I’d definitely recommend Woodland West Animal Hospital to everyone!

They took great care of our family! Unfortunately our furbaby did not make it. She had parvovirus and her kidneys were shutting down. However they were so kind and patient with us. They even sent us a card about the rainbow bridge, that brought ease to our family. They are also caring for our other fur babies, they treat them like we would! Couldn’t ask for a better group to care for our fur babies!

We adopted a cat in January who we were assured was over ringworm. Long story short, he wasn't so off we went to woodland west. (At the time we did not know it was ringworm) The first vet we saw, (Clupper) misdiagnosed it and we paid for a steroid and an anti-inflammatory injection. After a week or so, we saw no improvement so we went back and saw a different vet (Jones.) We told him we thought it might be ringworm he agreed but did a test just to be sure. He sent us home with oral medication for both cats and shampoo for the dog. We have been doing both and have had the cats quarantined and it seems to be clearing up. My problem with them at this point is.. we never heard back from Dr. Jones. We have no idea if they even tested positive for ringworm. We've called several times with no response. We've given up and have an appointment elsewhere. I would recommend this place for emergency care since they are open every day of the year but I would not recommend them as your regular vet. This is not the first time I've had problems with them, but the most recent. Ringworm is a time sensitive issue especially when we all have it. I don't like having my cats quarantined to one room and I'm really confused as to how an educated individual couldn't identify ringworm. I figured it out through Google hundreds of dollars later.

We started coming here because of convenience, but we’ll continue to come here because of the people. Even if we move far away, we’ll drive! Everyone is so great. I’m pretty sure Julie loves my Dougie almost as much as I do. The doctors are fantastic as well. We’ve had several scares with our blind diabetic baby, and every time they take care of him right away. We’re doggy patients for life.

I have been associated with Woodland West for several years, both with horse boarding and with vet services and boarding for my dog. Don't know how Doc does it, but he has the best folks working for him. They are responsive to requests and needs and have frequently gone above and beyond to help me - sometimes in very difficult situations. I'm always pleased with the service and the people I have dealt with.

Woodland West always make me and my pets comfortable. They really go out of their way to care of my pet. The staff is always super nice and you can talk to anyone. Dr. Barranco is who I always ask for because she is very professional and knows my pets by now and also makes sure that they are treated with the best care. I would see any vet there because the whole staff shows massive love and care for all the pets there.

I took my dogs, Boots and Trouble, to Woodland West Animal Hospital this past week to get their annual shots, but more importantly to have a veterinarian examine them when they did not have a specific problem. I was very impressed with the thorough exam that they both received and it was pretty painless for me too. After making an appointment, I brought them to the Woodland West Hospital and a staff member came out and took the dogs in while I waiting in the car. After about 15 to 20 minutes the dogs came out and then their veterinarian, Doctor Victoria Monaghan came out with their written report, gave my daughter and me the result of her review and said that our 8 and 10 year old friends were doing pretty well. Of course, just like me, they are now on diets! I was very pleased with my experience and highly recommend them. Boots had ACL surgery in November, 2017 at Woodland West Animal Hospital and recovered very well.

Woodland West has the nicest staff. Anytime I bring my mini schnauzer in, they care for her personally. Dr. Heinz is the best vet ! She's so good I followed her when she moved from my old vet to Woodland West. They do a great job explaining the care your pet receives and their prices are great. Highly recommend

Woodland West has been Shiloh's vet since we moved here. They have been very attentive and supportive to her needs. During this Covid-19 pandemic, the virtual medical visit was easy to use and did not have any lag time in video or sound. Her visit was with Dr. Woolley, she was a compassionate vet and a great listener. They also have a convenient drive through window to pay and pick up medicines.

My dog had been sick a few days and I didn't want to wait until Mon to take her to her regular vet. I asked on facebook if anyone knew of a non ER vet open on Sunday and Woodland West was most recommended. I called and made an appt. They were very kind and responsive, helpful. I had to stay in the car due to Covid but they called me and then the vet, Dr. Mosier, came out with my dog and some medicine. He spoke with me extensively about what was wrong and answered all my questions. He was very kind and understanding. Everyone was so nice. I was worried about my girl and they took very good care of her! I would take her back in a heartbeat!
