This is honestly the best vet people I've ever used. They weren't focused on the money but rather on my kitty cat. They were friendly, helpful, and affordable. Definitely who I will use from now on.

We came here because of recommendations for reasonable prices but we returned because of the outstanding love and care toward our pets, especially our more anxious dog. Its my understanding that the location was previously under another vet who I've heard...wasn't so great. But our experience with Dr. Smith and her staff has been nothing short of excellent. We first became patients of Dr. Smith's when our cat got out and returned with a swollen face and limp and we were concerned he'd been hit by a car. True, their prices were great but it became apparent afterward when Rhonda talked with us about how everything had gone that their staff really puts in the time and love and gets to know your pet when you aren't around. We decided to switch from the other vet we'd planned to use for our pets' general care and I'm so glad we did. They've taken such great care of our cat and dog and we'll be bringing all of our pets here from now on. The biggest selling point for us was with our male dog who, before the pandemic and the changes it has brought, had never had to go to a vet separate from me. He's a working breed and suspicious of strangers, and though we've done lots of training and socializing, he had never had to go to a vet's office without me right there the whole time so I wasn't sure how he'd react. My biggest fear, and anyone who has had a Malinois will understand, was that I didn't want him to have a negative experience because he's the kind of dog who never forgets. It became clear that Rhonda had lots of experience and knowledge when I explained the situation, and when we got there, he trusted her and was excited to go with her (which is more than I could have ever hoped for) and everything went smoothly. I can't thank her and Dr. Smith enough, the peace of mind of knowing my boy is in good hands when I can't be there to advocate for him is invaluable. I feel the measure of any person who works with animals is really in how they treat your pet behind closed doors and our experience has given me such relief in knowing our pets are safe and loved in their capable care. We'll be recommending Brookside Animal Hospital to everyone.

My recent visit to Brookside Animal Hospital couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful! Dr Smith has such a gentle way with animals and people...she is in the process of diagnosing my little pup's tummy issues, and though not all the testing is complete, she has briefly treated and prescribed meds to help ease his discomfort. Their office fees have been very reasonable as well. So comforting to know our pup's health is in her hands!! Thank you Dr Smith and your lovely staff!!

Doc Smith and her team are absolutely amazing! My service dog Pinky had some health issues and they went above and beyond to get her feeling better. If you have questions like I did they will always call you back with the answer and then some. Rhonda the office manager has a heart of gold and truly loves our little fur babies. Pinky is always excited to see her which makes my day. Pinky had to have surgery and they actually gave her a pedicure while she was under! It’s little things like that, that sets them apart from other veterinarians. They treat you like family and I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Very caring with our outdoor/indoor kitty. Our kitty has had respiratory difficulties for about 4 years. After hearing kitty's symptoms, Dr. Smith was able to diagnosis and treat the actual problem, giving our kitty the relief she has needed. Other vets have treated the symptoms, but not the actual cause. She and her staff truly listen and explain everything and never seem rushed. We definitely recommend them!

Great place for complicated senior dog care.

Dr. Stacey Smith Saved our dogs life after our regular vet sent Nugget our 11 year old chihuahua home to die after being in her care for a week.Had we not sought out a 2nd opinion we would not have found such a loving caring trained vet that figured out he had a burst gallbladder that had gone sepsis & done emergency surgery within a few hours to save him !!!

My 10 week old puppy got sick with parvo. They were absolutely fantastic in the way it was handled and how my puppy and myself were treated. The follow-up calls and genuine care showed towards my fur baby was nothing short of extraordinary. I will be returning and have already recommended them to several family and friends.
