We were on a waiting list at Aurora to have our long-haired German Shepherd groomed, so when I received the call that they had an opening, that was great news. We had taken her to other local groomers but felt we were not getting our money’s worth based on how she looked when we picked her up. And she was very hesitant to get out of the vehicle for appointments. She was not hesitant at all at Aurora for the first time. Julie communicated with me during her appointment so I knew how it was going, and that’s important when you have left your pet somewhere new. She looks fantastic. I would give 10 stars if it was an option.

I called 3 times with no return call. Always told too busy to schedule you. Working on it. I do expect communication. I will find a professional establishment. Don't want your time here. The owner is very defensive if you bring up a concern

I dropped my dog off at 730am for the first time. It won’t be the last time. My dog is clean, his nails were ground, not cut, his ears were cleaned, and he enjoyed the staff as much as they enjoyed him. They were done earlier than they said they would be. If they took credit cards or debit cards they would be perfect. Already made my next appointment.

Just picked up my Cairn, Annie, and again, Julie has done a wonderful job! Annie looks great and seems very relaxed, not nervous or fearful as she has been with other groomers. I think she’s ready to take on Westminster!

Love, love love the grooming my pups received today. After two years of searching for the right groomer, Julie and her team produced excellent results and the pups love her. They look amazing and the care is above and beyond expectations! ????????????❤️

I always know when I leave Missy to be groomed I'll be getting the best cut possible. Never had any problem loving the trims on my Yorkie. Show quality!

My dog (Levi) had some health issues and the owner decided to completely ignore them. My dog came back frightened and had marks on him from a comb that obviously was too sharp. I also overheard her complaining about me when she thought I had left. I try to not groom him too often as he gets stressed easily and I dont want it to affect his health. I'll be looking for a new groomer. Any suggestions?

I came to Aurora because Paws on Pearl doesn’t vet their clients for current vaccines and my dog caught kennel cough twice after being groomed. Julie and her staff called my vet as soon as I wanted to schedule an appointment and I had to get one of them updated before I could bring her in to Aurora. I truly appreciate their process. My dogs both were groomed perfectly and looked better than they had in years.

Our puppy has never looked so beautiful and Julie is so knowledgeable!! I will never go anywhere else!

Best decision I have made for my fur children!! I have a boxer with allergies and a German Shepard with way too much hair and they came back like totally different dogs!! Coats were wonderful and they were happy! Very professional and updated me through the morning as to how they were doing. Can’t recommend the Aurora staff enough and will be taking both my dogs back regularly!!

Amazing service! I have a 9-year-old pug who they took very well care of. I was sent photos and videos of his first time there. It seriously made my day and made me feel more at ease leaving him at a new grooming facility we haven’t used yet. Thank you again, Aurora Kennel!

Julie is the best! Very knowledgeable of all breeds and loves dogs. Our OES looks beautiful and, more importantly, he looks like he is supposed to. She is patient with our fur baby and he never is traumatized when he goes in or comes out. It’s his Spa day. Awesome staff too

My English setter Rose came out the door after grooming & she looked fantastic plus happy???????? the goldendoodle Lindy that I dogsit for came out just as great! The most important thing was Julie noticed Lindy had a discharge & was licking a lot so I took her to the vet a couple of hours later & she was running a temp ,she has a urinary tract infection which was caught early ! Thanks to Julies careful attention to her . Knowing my dogs & those I care for are so well taken care of while at Aurora gives me peace of mind & like I said the girls were tail wagging happy when I picked them up ????

After our regular, big box groomer gave us an appointment 3 weeks out, our neighbor suggested we take our Harlow to her groomer, where she's taken her dogs for many years. I called and spoke to Julie who, in addition to being very professional, was also very accommodating, as she took in our boy 2 days later and did an awesome job. We'll be bringing our other 3 dogs to our "new" groomer. Thank you Julie. The Ramos family.

Julie takes excellent care of my dog. She is very knowledgeable and makes the dogs entrusted to her care her top priority. She loves dogs, and it shows!

Julie and her team are absolutely incredible! They treat our dog so well, so much so that sprints to the car when we say “time for camp”!

Julie has been grooming our dogs for about 20 years. Her shop is so clean you could literally eat off the floor. There are a handful of people I trust with my dogs, they are our children, and Julie is at the top of the list. Drive by almost anytime of the day or night and Julie will be there. I know my dogs are well taken care of, be it grooming or boarding. Can’t say enough positive things about Aurora!

Fast responses and was able to get my girl in sooner than expected. She cleaned up the mess from another grooming service and my little old lady seemed happy and looked/smelled great... Her ears are SO soft! Definitely recommend!

I have been a customer of Aurora Kennel for several years. Aurora Kennel is absolutely the best in town. My dogs love going there, come back healthy, no kennel cough ever. They don’t have a kennel smell when they come back. Instead they look and feel like they have been to the spa. The owner, Julie, truly loves animals. If I could get my dogs kennel Ed free some where else, I would not switch. I know the quality of care I get here.
