Docs V and Miller love what they do and it’s evident in how they treat their patients. We trust them 100% with our fur babies and appreciate their efforts. They’ve gone above and beyond anytime our first babies have needed extra attention. Thank you both!

Excellent with my pet little boy.

Dr Velasquez is our vet here and we highly recommend her. She's the only reason we're still with Banfield. She's wonderful with our cats and dog. She's professional, friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. Most of the staff here is awesome, too, especially Wendy, the resident "crazy cat lady". If Dr V ever leaves, we will try to follow her, but for now, we recommend Banfield and their optimum wellness plans. Preventative care is so important for pets (and humans) and that's what Banfield excels at; keeping your pets healthy rather than waiting until they're sick to take them to the vet. If you don't have a wellness plan, you'll probably find their prices high, but the plans are a great value, which is why we have all of our four pets on them.

I got some tropical fish for my tropical fish. Petsmart is the most wonderful place.

I adopted my kitten on October 15th, he was perfectly healthy. He was taken to a vet twice before we got him, and both times he was given a clean bill of health. We took him to Banfield on October 22nd. We took him there just for a check up. We wanted to triple check that our little guy was perfectly healthy, as we had been told by the shelter and by previous vet visits that he was healthy. Dr V comes out and tells us that he is “okay,” which was shocking and like a punch to the gut. She told us he has infections in his mouth, that he might have to be on prescription food, and referred us to dental specialist because she said he might need all of his teeth pulled. This appointment, which was supposed to be free with a coupon, cost us almost $200. We immediately began to figure out what we needed to do. We called the vet and animal shelter and asked for his records. Then we decided to make an appointment at a different vet, Good Shepherd in BA, to get a third opinion on our boy. That appointment was today. This vet says that there is no way that anyone could know how his teeth were because he’s only 5 months old so his teeth aren’t even ready to be examined like that. This vet says he’s perfectly healthy. So now, $200 later, we find out that our little guy has been healthy the entire time. Banfield, as told to us by another medical professional, had no business saying that our kitten was unhealthy. They have caused us unnecessary stress and charged us for things that ended up being not true. I wouldn’t trust Banfield vets with a stuffed dog at this point. I certainly will never go again and will push for everyone considering Banfield to PLEASE try another vet, or at least get a second opinion before trusting their “advice.” For anyone looking for recommendations on vets for their cat, I highly recommend Good Shepherd in BA. They allowed us to be in the room for the entire visit. They took really good care of our little guy, didn’t try to sell us on anything or over charge us, and they gave us clear answers and prevented us from causing more unnecessary stress to our kitten and ourselves.

We love taking our cats to Dr. Velazquez and her staff. They are absolutely wonderful with the cats and take excellent care of them. They even call to check-in after shots or procedures. We use the wellness plans (which we love) because it takes care of all the routine items and we get reminders to schedule appointments for their exams. We will definitely continue to take the cats to Dr. V and her team!

I did not have a great experience with the previous vet in Owasso (he seemed a little too eager to perform unnecessary surgeries) so we have been driving into Tulsa just to avoid him. We went for a check up on Tulsa and Dr. Green happened to be visiting from the Owasso location. She had to deliver bad news to us regarding our American Bulldog (he had liver cancer). About a month later, we had to put him to sleep and chose to see Dr. Green again (this time in Owasso). I'm so glad we did. She was so compassionate with us and we knew our comfort with her would resonate with Perry when the time came. The Owasso crew even sent us a card to us a few days later and we completely lost it when we got it in the mail. I miss my Perry so much but it eases my heart to know he isn't in pain anymore and was taken care of by such caring and warm human beings. To Dr. Green and the Owasso Banfield staff: Thanks to each of you for helping us through such a tough time. Please know that our experience with you will follow us for the rest of our lives. ❤️

Dr. Miller is the best! Rex has always been a Bad Dog. He knows his boundaries and when he enforces them, he's a Bad Dog. When a stranger sticks something up his butt and he growls at them, they tell him he's a Bad Dog. When they poke him with needles and he gets mad they tell him he's a Bad Dog. The vets always know they need to muzzle him because he'll bite, because he's a Bad Dog. Until he met Dr. Miller. This man is the most patient in the world. He never treats Rex like a bad dog, and always gives him a chance to be a Good Dog. And because he gives him a chance and he respects that a dog has his boundaries, Rex behaves like a Good Dog. He'll give him his vaccinations without a muzzle and he'll tell Rex he's a Good Dog. He's willing to go at Rex's pace, even if that means slowing it down sometimes. And even if he gets nipped, he always gives Rex another chance because he's sure he's a Good Dog. Because of this, every vet visit is an improvement. Rex handles it more and more like a Good Dog and has less and less anxiety. Dr. Miller has truly made the vet noticeably less traumatizing and less scary for my baby. He's given Rex a chance to just be a dog and a good one at that. Picking a vet can be such a tough decision, but not for Rex. I cannot tell you what a difference he's made for Rex, but I will forever appreciate it. ????

They take such good care of my fur kids. Price is great too. My kids are on insurance plans there.

So far we've had nothing but a good experience working with the folks at Banfield. The wellness plans here have been well worth the money, from the free tests and the discounted prices to being able to pay out our youngest's shots over the course of the year it's been a great experience. When we called about making an appointment over health concerns with our oldest the lady we had on the phone offered to call around to see if she could find somewhere we could get him in. Outstanding.

Great help with my pet rat

Very reasonable place and the doctors are very polite and knowledgeable. They listen to any issue you may be concerned about. The workers and recs also show they care what is going on with you to.

The staff here is the best. They know both of my dogs by sight and remember bits about them like that I have two, which has allergies, they always update me on their heart murmurs no matter what I'm in for, and are just super friendly and make sure you leave with all questions answered. Do recommend!
