The best Animal Hospital we have ever taken our pets to! Outstanding staff and Dr’s. Hergenrether and Underwood are the best!!!!!!

They are very professional both the doctor and the staff. They explained everything along with the cost. They called next day to check on my cat. And they called with test results.

Dr. Underwood has taken care of our dog, Buddy, for about 2 years. Every visit, he takes time to address any concerns we may have and explain issues in layman's terms. He is very thorough with his examinations and recommendations. He clearly exhibits a high level of care for animals and also their owners. Highly recommend this veterinary practice!

Brought my dog in and Dr. Underwood examined her, diagnosed the problem and discussed treatment for her, he made me part of the decisions needed for her care. I also decided to have her and my other dog washed as well. The entire staff treated the dogs with great care and professionalism. Did I mention that we are just visiting the area? I have 2 Yorkies that I began taking to Dr. Hergenrether for their veterinary needs. Dr. Hergenrether has done more for their health than I would have ever thought possible. One of my dogs, being very sickly, was being treated for pancreatitis and arthritis by another veterinarian. Dr. Hergenrether discovered a baseball size tumor on my dog’s spleen and an ACL tear on his left knee. Two surgeries later, and being put on a special digestive low-fat diet, my dog is doing wonderfully! I have nothing but praise for Dr. Hergenrether and I trust his diagnoses when he sees my dogs.

They arranged their busy schedule to get our cat in. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The Veterinarian explained every step he and the staff was doing for you cat. Thank you for getting us in.

When our Ellie and Blue both caught parvo, they were the ONLY vet that was willing to see and take care of them. They were so nice and professional. They answered all of our questions and even worked with us on the things we had to buy. Later after they found out that Ellie didn't make it, they sent a cute little condolences cards to us. Love this vet and will only use them from now on!

We were in Lawton for my sons boot camp graduation. The hotel we had reserved months prior ended up having bed bugs so trying to find a hotel that accepted pets was impossible. Thankfully Hergenrether Animal Hospital was able to board our dogs without hesitation. The vet even call that evening to let us know how our babies were doing. Thank you again

My fur babies have been a patient with Dr. Hergenrether for 20 years. Even before opening his own practice. I've lost a few pets from age and he has always been compationate with my family. I love the way they treat us and talk with us. I would recommend them to anyone. Dr Underwood is also a great vet. He saved my dogs life when she almost died and he was in call. Dr underwood is my son's vet as well and is a great vet to. I highly recommend them to anyone.

We have been taking our pets to John's practice since he first opened. With each and every one of our pets he and his staff have been caring and concerned about our animals and us. This was especially important to our daughters when they were young and they were concerned about their pets being sick. He always made sure our daughters understood what and why we were doing. I have never had any reservations about the care plans/suggestions from John or his staff. I would recommend this practice to anyone wanting quality care for their pet(s).

Dr. Hergenrether and staff were/are amazing. He tried his best to save my baby but the damage was to much for my little babies body. I am grateful they took him in immediately and began surgery.
