We appreciate Dr. Schwandt and his staff so much. They are very caring and skilled and never overcharge or recommend too many tests/treatment as other vets have done for us. Wonderful vet!

Been bringing my babies for over 12 years now. Dr. Schwandt is yhe sweetest. He is there for the animal not a retirement plan. Love this vet and his office personnel.

I drive all the way from Moore just to bring my sweet girl ! The Vet gives me the best vibes he is truly the best and is very knowledgeable!! His staff is great the made my visits comfortable and answered all my questions thoroughly! I will never take my dog to another Vet! I highly recommend!!! Also the prices can’t be beat!!!! Best vet out of Guthrie and Edmond both, his prices are phenomenal and I wouldn't be able to take my animals to any vet without them. My family has been going to him for over 10 years and I'll still keep going to him until the day he retires!

Called to get my dog an appointment and was told “we aren’t accepting new clients and to call back in a few months.”

I have been taking my dogs there since we moved to Oklahoma 15 years ago Dr Steve and all of his staff have always done a great job and have taken care of all our dogs and have always been great

Nothing lower than 1 star rating to give... Being new to the area/community asked question if they we could bring our dog in for her shots. person asked if we had been in before? I said no...she then said that they were not taking any new clients and hung up

Would not recommend this vet. Staff very uninformative and Dr. very cold. Took my pug in for a spay and she came home shaking and very elusive from me and my husband. Staff never gave me any info on my dog while she was in the care even when I called to ask how she was. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a vet

I'll never take my fur baby Luna anywhere else. Dr. Steve and every single tech up there are AMAZING! They won't charge you an arm and leg like literally everywhere else. The doc always tells you exactly how it is, no BS. Definitely worth the drive to Guthrie.

I have heard good things about the doctor but whoever is answering the phones is incredibly rude and unprofessional! Ya’ll should consider firing whoever you have working the front desk because judging by other comments from other people, they are saying the same thing. I’ll def take my business somewhere else!

Friendly staff, good service with low fees.

I had an emergency with my dog. She got caught on the fence and cut her neck open. I called hoping they could get her in. I am new in town so I don’t have a vet yet and they refused to help me. They didn’t offer another place I could take her. Simply said we’re not taking new patients and hung up. Incredibly rude and unprofessional. Will never take my animals there.

Dr. Schwandt is simply the best in the business. He and his staff have cared for our animals, beginning to end, for years and we have never felt less than blessed to have them. I wish I could Dr. Schwandt and his staff a sixth star.

I still bring my animals here even though I moved to a different town. My daughter brings her animals here too and she has never lived in Guthrie. We have used him for about 20 years now. Dr. Schwant is great with animals and doesn't charge high prices. A good neighbor as well as a good doctor.

This place is wonderful, it's affordable and the vet is knowledgeable as well as caring. Will definitely keep bringing my fur babies here.

Didn't go in, but I had called seeking information about a pet and they were extremely helpful and gave me lots of helpful advice.

I just called to find some information about having my sweet dog put to sleep. Clearly a difficult thing to do. I was ask my last name and after the girl muffled the phone and spoke with someone else a few minutes she ask if I had been there before. I told her we were fairly new in town and had not. She then told me they weren't taking new clients and I would have to go somewhere else...not taking new clients? Seriously this would be a one time visit not a new client. Very unprofessional.
