Deer Creek Animal Clinic Edmond, Oklahoma

Been meaning to give my two cents here for a while. This is my little Schipperkes' go to Vet. If you live anywhere near Deer Creek and are not using this clinic for yours pets, then you are overpaying and more than likely getting less than quality care for your pets. After this last major surgery, my Schip recovered faster than I ever thought possible. Plus, my final bill was just what I was quoted before hand. That is a 1st. In my past experience where urgent care was needed, the quote never matched the bill. There was always extra B.S. added with no explanations - just taking advantage of the situation, but not with Dr. Cross. I highly recommend him for he communicates and educates very well and is understandable. No circle talking to confuse clients. A proven choice for trust and reliability for my loved ones' care. And the Wine store next door helps relieve any stress of dragging a pet to the vet.

They really care about your animals here!! Everyone was so nice and helpful! This is the only veterinary I’ll be using from now on!

Dr. Cross and all staff are professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. We have gone to this clinic for 10+ years and have been more than happy with the treatment of our animals. Communication is excellent. Dr. Cross has gone above and beyond our expectations in so many situations. We love to have a friendly, reliable place for veterinary care.

I will never return. My dog had surgery there and I was present during it. The doctor pulled on her tongue to the point that it tore and began to bleed. He then told me that she was bleeding internally and that she would need further treatment, which was going to cost additionally. He’s not honest. Don’t go to this clinic. Please.

We have found our new local vet for our Fur Babies. The staff are great and very friendly. Dr. Cross is amazing. He meets you and explains everything clearly. He went above and beyond taking care of my little pup. We will return for all our Vet needs for years to come. Highly recommended!

Good service and friendly staff

We love Dr. Cross! He always does a great job. The staff is excellent, and they are open and available more than most vets. We discovered this clinic in an emergency situation, and since then it's become our regular clinic. We have LOTS of dogs and they love each of them as much as we do.

I've been to this office multiple times. The Docs and the staff are great. They really care for their animals and the owners. It's conveniently located for Deer Creek and Edmond Residents. Keep up the good work Guys.

Excellent Veterinarian and staff. They truly care about the wellbeing of your animals. In addition they try and make things as affordable as possible all while performing outstanding work!

Dr Cross is knowledgable and is a skilled surgeon .He has kept our animals healthy including our cat and sheepdogs.

Has not bothered to update their hours on Google Maps so you would be led to believe they are open on Sunday and waste your time calling Follow up to owners response; You confirmed that you are negligent in openly posting your Sunday hours in Maps. As to your not knowing me that is not relevant since I'm simply pointing out a fact discovered while searching for a vet open on Sunday. On the other hand my knowledge of you has been satisfied and based on the less than professional way you replied it merits 1 less star.

Outstanding Vet and staff. Would highly recommend! They take great care to explain things in terms that are understandable. My 5 Aussies love them too! (smile)

????⭐️????⭐️???? 5+ stars to Dr. Cross and team at Deer Creek Animal Clinic. The staff is very friendly and helpful - Dr. Cross is very informative with what he's doing, explaining options, etc., letting you decide how you want to proceed. Have been many times over the years for regular wellness (and for issues). One time when I took Kitty in when she wasn't acting right - Dr. Cross diagnosed and performed a procedure on Christmas weekend (Dec. 23)! He is passionate and knowledgeable about what he does. I highly recommend him to love and care for your furry friend!

Basically called me cheap for choosing a different clinic to get my cat neutered. To me it is all the same thing but other places are willing to help financially if you need the help. Treated my cat for tape worms but took him to another room for the vaccine, my previous vet who retired unfortunately, would treat them infront of the owners so there were no doubts on what they were being given. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM!

Dr Cross and his staff ate wonderful. They really care for our dog.

I have called Dr.Cross at 5:30 in the morning and 9:00 p.m. on a Saturday. His first priority is ALWAYS my animals and is beyond kind and caring. We have moved six times in fifteen years and he is one of the best vets we ever had.

Love this clinic. The entire staff is friendly and informative. Convenient and very good with my fur babies. Definitely recommend!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. They treat my dog like their own. They will stay late or open early to help me out. With a newborn baby and traveling, I kennel my dog alot. They allow last min drop offs...and are always so kind! Dr.Cross goes out of his way to help my time frame. The girls are so incredibly nice and help me get him out of my car when I arrive or pick up! . best and the most sweetest people in the world. Highly recommend this place! They make you feel like family for sure!

Visiting this clinic is one of the worst experiences that my wife ever had. Frankly, the nurse is nice but the Vet is bad. Not professional and keep teasing my wife's accent because we are not native English speaker. Our cat was not eating in the past few days and has several vomiting. When my wife took our cat there, the Vet just examined her gum and abdomen briefly. He then gave her a long list of estimate which cost more than $350. When my wife asked why we need to take these tests, he didn’t explain in detail but rather teasing my wife’s wording and accents. He kept saying that we are not “professionals” so we would not understand the tests and every local people know these are “standard procedures”. The point is if we are the so-called “professional”, why we need the Vet’s consultation? In their conversation, the Vet didn’t mention that our cat should be hospitalized but he included the cost for putting a small device to our cat which helps injection easier if we hospitalize the cat. After talking for a while about our concern on these “irrelevant” treatment costs, the Vet prepared another treatment list which deleted most of the procedures and reduced the cost to $110. One weird thing is that he even reduced the antibiotics from two to one. If one of them is not necessary, why it is included in the first list? Finally, he did a fluid replacement and gave us an antibiotic. In all, our impression is that the Vet tried to sell you as many “procedures/tests” as possible but not really care about the animal’s sickness.
