Love the staff. Very caring and loving and there for you. November 28 after Thanksgiving I had to put my baby Blue to sleep and worst decision I had to make. Please you want a loving staff when you have to say your goodbyes to your fur babies.

Please stop removing my review it is the honest truth and you know it..They were supposed to keep an eye on our pet overnight while meds took better affect from another , quality vet in Sherman. That was all they had to do, and he passed away in less than an hour under your care . We all know what happened as well as you do, so I'll leave my review at that , but everyone reading this needs to know do not leave your pet here. They don't know what they're doing and they could care less. they're rude and the receptionist needs to be fired

My husband's cat is his world so when the kitty started showing signs of a UTI late on a weekend, I had him call to see if it warranted an ER visit. The person who answered was kind and helpful and calmed my husband. We were able to feel better about waiting until we could see our regular vet and knew what to watch for that would call for a visit to the ER. Its so nice to have this kind of service available 24/7.

First of all they do not even deserve a star. This hospital also charged us over $800 to give us a speculation of what they think vs confirmed answers. We feel like they took advantage of us while we were crying and vulnerable about our animal. We waited and waited for them to just do blood work and x-rays. Then we waited and waited again before they returned our animal to us. During that time they had him- we kept hearing him scream and cry out. They would not let us be with him and kept us closed in a small room. They finally returned him to us and he was terrified and shaking and we still waited longer to hear the results of the x-rays. Never got the answer while we were there 4 hours. However, they were urging us to pay for meds which we did (never helped our animal) he died before receiving all of the 7 day dosage. BOTTOM LINE- they CHARGE ALOT of MONEY and get you while you’re vulnerable about your animal to give you NO ANSWERS urged us to pay for meds not even knowing what was wrong with him and didn’t work anyway and he still died.

To the obese short white older lady who is supposedly a Dr. and physically assaulted my dog right infront of me after refusing to examine him. And I mean assaulted to the point where he yelped and screamed until other employees came running into the office. I guarantee you that wasn't the end of that. You can continue to call me from a private number to harass me because I'm filing a police report but I will not stop until your license is revoked. You won't get to continue treating animals with such violence and rage.

Called and spoke to Vita. She was unbelievably helpful compared to the other emergency clinics. She didn’t tell me to call the animal poison hotline. She taught me how induce vomiting and potentially saved my 90 lb sweet labs life. Will definitely be giving them my business in the future.

Over and beyond appreciative of this team! Everyone was very professional and very compassionate at the same time! My dog was here over the entire weekend and I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Took my dog here in a Saturday. They were the only vet open in my area and I don’t have time to take her somewhere during the week. First off the estimate was upwards of $800 (bloodwork, meds, xrays) but I let that go because they’re an “ER” and I wanted answers. They quickly took her for xrays. Then we waited, waited and waited more. A total of 2.5 hours waiting for X-ray results. Then they said we could keep waiting or they could email it when they X-ray was read. We opted to leave. The next morning (16 hours later) I still had no results. I called and the results had came in at 2am (12 hours after X-ray). The vet told me over the phone then said the report would be emailed. I was then sent one for the wrong animal. I replied to the emails, heard nothing. Called back 8 hours later (27 hours after X-ray) and finally got the correct report emailed. I understand it may not have been an emergency to them but when you pay nearly $800 I expect prompt results/ treatment. I will not go back here again.

We had to visit late during the week. My wife called in advance and once we arrived the staff were ready to help us. They were wonderful with our cat and took very good care of her. We knew in advance the pricing that is clearly listed on the website. They were amazing and worked with us with treating our cat until the vets office opened. The price reflected the service and assistance we received and have zero complaints. We will continue to use this vet clinic in future emergency situations.

We had a pomeranian that needed emergency help this past Saturday. I called this place and they sent me to Collin county because their xray machine was not working. I was upset. Drove all the way to the one in Plano and my baby passed away right when we drove up to the entrance door. I will never ever use Grayson county ER, ever! Now I have to have a back up plan in case of emergency. I'll talk to my vet about this.

They require payment upfront before doing anything to help your pet and they're only open overnight. They're very nice people though and were very helpful!

Horrible aftercare support for their overpriced services. Will not see your pet for any type of aftercare for what they did without charging more emergency and visit fees.

We had an emergency with our sweet girl, Remi. It was after hours at our vet so we took Remi here. Although we all, including the staff wished for a different outcome, they tried all night, provided us with updates every 2 hours. Made sure our sweet girl was comfortable. When the time came, we came in at 6am, they were so very sweet and understanding. Thank you all fir what you did.

I was beyond happy with the service provided. At 1am my dog began to show signs of GDV. I know what a critical emergency this would be, so I rushed him in and was abe to be seen right away. They presented me with a very reasonable estimate for his diagnostics and got started on him right away. Luckily, he had just snuck into the food bin and helped himself to a food bloat. He is back to his normal self today and I am so grateful for the staff there. In my panic, I didn't not retain their names, but to the overnight crew on Monday- You are amazing! Thank you from me and Grayson.

The front staff were rude and uncaring. I had a dog that had been attacked by another dog and had an eye that had popped out of socket and they said it would be best to take the dog to our regular vet in the morning

When I called to tell my pups symptoms and ask whether I should bring her in or not the only response I was given was “$99.50” about 8 times in a row even though I was attempting to ask additional questions. I was simply trying to determine if my concerns about my pups cough were valid or not. Not helpful at all, just drive a bit further if you can.

I took my dog (who was paralyzed from a bad accident and in need of desperate medical attention ASAP) into the clinic last night and I had the worst vet experience of my life. The female staff was very cold & rude with me. I held Ruby the entire time, I was offered no assistance with ruby while I was looking over the 3 "treatment plan" options and when I asked to see the kennel Ruby would be staying in overnight, the nurse smirked and said absolutely not. Then I asked if she could at least open the door so I can see from the doorway where my baby who is severely injured would be staying and she says no, again. Finally, I ask a third time if I can just see the kennel she will be staying in because I am concerned about my baby and she rolled her eyes, opened the door the slammed it in my face before I could even see anything. I assume the supervisor heard the nurse yelling at me, so she stormed in the room and was very rude with me before even knowing Ruby or my situation. I never felt so alone or upset in a vet clinic in my life. I will say, when I picked Ruby up that morning, the night shift crew (a man & older woman) were very nice to me. All in all, I left that place last night in tears & I am not typically one to cry.... So thanks Grayson County Emergency Clinic, here's your well deserved 1 star review!

Took excellent care of my small poodle when she was viscously attacked by another dog. We arrived after midnight. They performed lung surgery immediately and kept her overnight. So thankful they were there for my Precious!

I came in this evening with our 13 week old mastiff puppy experiencing stomach discomfort. We lost our 9 year old mastiff just 2 months ago so I am hyper sensitive with our new sweet girl and HAD to know she was ok tonight! When I arrived with her we went into the exam room immediately and within minutes a tech came in to gather information and was so sweet with my girl. After that the doctor of staff came in and performed an exam and talked to me about my concerns and decided ruling out the p word (parvo) was the next best step.. which thank God it was negative ???????????????? So with that the suggestion of xrays came up to rule our blockage or stomach flipping (common on this breed) and I didn’t feel pressured at all, I was given the pricing information ahead of time and decided that yes it was necessary. Luckily turned out our girl was just suffering from gastroenteritis and with an injection and medication she is going to be ok! Granted, yes, I did pay more than I would at my vet, but then again, in an emergency you pay more for emergency services than your regular doctor so I was ok with this. The staff was very helpful and kind and concerned for my girl and my concerns. Would recommend and use again in the future.

My dog got a snake bite and we found this Emergency Vet office. The lady that answered the phone was so nice and explained everything to me. As soon as we got there they took my dog back right away and started getting a plan together . Cheaper prices and friendly staff that genuinely care about your pet can’t ask for anything more ! Thank y’all

Friendly, helpful staff. Prices are a little high but it's an emergency vet so I have absolutely no complaints. Any time we need an after hours vet they're the only one I go to. Thank you Grayson Co. Animal!

They are very caring and wonderful people. Brought our 4 month old pup Ringo to them with Parvo... They kept him alive until Monday. We were taking him to our vet when he vomited and choked... He didn't make it.. they did all they could for him and I can't thank them enough...

This clinic saved my dogs life, literally the words of my regular vet, without them getting her stabilized the night I took her in, my dog would have passed away. The staff was caring and compassionate and explained everything to me and did not pressure me at all to do anything. They answered every phone call throughout the night and never once acted like it bothered them. Dr. Stubblefield was AWESOME and took great care of my dog until I could get her transferred to my regular vet the following morning. Yes, their prices are higher then your regular vet, they are an EMERGENCY vet clinic, your pet is in need of CRITICAL care when you walk through the door and you are going to pay higher prices for that kind of care, I would absolutely go there again if I ever have an emergency with my pet after hours and I HIGHLY recommend them!!

My dog was attacked by a german sheppard and is barely making it. She can barely move and just stares. When she tries to move she yelps. She is in so much pain. They treated her well as far as I know and sent her out the door after a steroid shot, an osteoarthritis medication, and an antibiotic. I couldn't get her into a vet today for a follow up it being a Saturday so I called hoping they could call a prescription for tramadol ( thats what every vet had gave for serious pain with my other dogs in the past.) And they told me they couldn't call it in but I could come down and bring $100 dollars and they would get me a prescription because they do it on hand at the vet. I asked why would it be $100 with the same medication at any pharmacy being less than 5 dollars. I was told thats just how they do it. So they charge desperate people inflated prices because they have no other choice and just want to help ease their babies suffering. Thats ridiculous. They knew my only hope to get her help would be to bring them a 100 dollar bill after paying $200 last night for an exam, steroid shot, and medicine distribution. I called a pharmacy and asked if it was possible for veterinarians to call in medicine and they said there would be no reason for them not to. So I call Grayson County animal emergency back and tell them what they said and that it was ridiculous for them to inflate those kinds of prices to desperate people who just want their babies to be ok. They could have called a prescription for her but they wouldnt be making a 150 % profit so its not worth their time. Shes so pitiful and I can't do anything to help her. She tells me that she won't prescribe the medication now because she doesn't feel comfortable prescribing a controlled medication and I asked then why she just told me if I brought her a 100 dollars she would give it to me? She just said that she doesn't prescribe controlled medication and that she couldn't call it in anyways because she didn't have her rx number with her that allowed her to call in medications to the pharmacy. She tells me that I could come in and get a prescription for gabapentin for 30 dollars and thats the best they could do. They were ready to prescribe tramadol when they thought I was going to bring them a 100 dollar bill. Thats an extremely shady business practice. Gouging someone that just wants to help their babies and would do anything they could so they wouldn't hurt. You can get a full person prescription for under 5 and i would have been happy with a few pills to get her through til I cant get her into a vet that would get her something. They prey on desperate people. If you have any other choice then to use this vet then I recommend going elsewhere. Im reporting them to the better business bureau, federal trade commission, the local consumer protection office, state veterinary medical association, state veterinary licensing board, and whoever im told to speak to. Its wrong to do that to people. I understand you have to make money but that is extreme. I have an app on my phone that records every call and they are going to have a tough time trying to make it sound like they didn't do anything wrong. The receptionist even said on the first call that it wasnt right but they couldn't do anything. That was " how it works" My dog is laying here hurting so bad and I just wanted her to feel better. I would have been happy with just a few pills to ease her suffering. This just isn't right and its heart breaking for me having to watch my dog lay here in pain knowing she could feel better if I would have taken $100 dollars down and bought a couple dollars worth of pills. Its so sad. On Monday hopefully I can do something to stop this kind of business practice.
