I come here for nail trims and obedience class for my 4 yo boxer mix. Kai is an awesome instructor that delivered results while keeping class fun. Definitely recommend!

Grooming - not experienced with Samoyeds. Last week I called the place to ask if they are experienced with Samoyeds and explained that not all groomers are familiar with the breed and I was told that they were. So today I took my dog for a bath for the first time at this place (once I couldn’t do it myself for personal reasons). When I got home I notice couple spots that were not dry… checked him and found a lot of humid spots (perfect for fungal infection). Not just that, he wasn’t brushed. At least not how double coated dogs should be… the humid undercoat was tangled so I used the dryer to help drying it off to brush him myself. It took me 2 hours and a half to brush my dog properly because they also didn’t use conditioner making the job not just harder for me but for the dog. I understand that Samoyeds need more time/care and I was never told that it would take longer or it would be more expensive… I didn’t even ask how much the it would cost. Below are the pictures of before and after I brushed and how much hair came off. Just unbelievable. And cause there’s no conditioner, probably it’s going to be very hard to brush him again next time soon so I will end up having to give him another bath within a week or so. So if I change my review for 1 star it’s because he needed another bath. (Of course in a different place. Sorry to be the Karen today and I’m pretty sure the staff are hard work people but Petsmart has to prepare the workers better. Not all dogs you just throw some water and shampoo and it’s done.

We planned to have the new year gift for my kids from that store and they were very happy so we went there a day ahead ask the question and information we need regarding our plan and everything was going good and we bought the recommended supplies. Next day and the kids are ver excited we found out the customers Service gave us the wrong information about our plans

This is the best location for feeder insects for my leopard geckos. Finally a shop with crickets that aren't all dead within the week! Staff are friendly too.

I see dead or nearly dead betta fish in those stupid cups way too often. The employees are nice and clearly care but corporate policy obviously cares more about money and basic appearances than the actual animals in the store’s care. Do better for your bettas. I’ve been noticing other pet stores (like the Fish Doctor in Ypsilanti) keep their bettas in small tanks, all connected with heated water constantly filtered/cycling through them. It’s not ideal for a permanent home, but a million times better than the cups. And still allows the store to have a ton of bettas. And stores like the fish doctor won’t sell you a stupid tiny bowl for the poor fish, actually recommending appropriate tank sizes (3 gallons absolute minimum, 5g for more appropriate care and comfort, etc). I don’t even want to go into petsmart for cat litter anymore, it’s too sad

Always go here for my crickets and other feeders when I need some. They are way better health and size than the ones from other pet stores in the area. The employees are also always very helpful and friendly.

Great place for me to find all my cat's supplies. Even a new toy to take home to my spoiled cat lol. Clean well organized store & the people that work here are very friendly & helpful. I've never had a problem :)

They had exactly what we wanted.

To make a long story short. I placed a online order to pick up in store earlier today. Within the hour the associate called me to inform me that 18lb bag of Purina Pro for small dogs / Puppy had already been sold and was no longer available. For the inconvenience, the store manager offered to sell me the smaller $17.99 6lbs bags of the exact same dog food at the very same $/lb as the $41.99 18lbs bag. Which equated to an approximate savings of $4.00 per bag. It was just a pleasant experience to have good customer service being offered to me without me having to request it. I didn’t have to complain to management. The store management was proactive and just took care me. Thanks again.

I like Petsmart, the stores are clean and its not usually difficult to find help when you need it. Unfortunately I went to get some frozen fish food but the unit was empty and unplugged.

Would not sell. Me any fish because I had ten gallon aquarium with two small told me you have to have 4 gallons of water for each fish.
