New Patient-Excellent full service veterinarian, appointment was next day, very attentive and genuinely care for your pet. Dr actually answered his own phone and set the appointment. Masks not required- up to the individual. A+

My cat had an issue with her tail,after going to emergency clinic they diagnosed and told me what needed my vet was unable to see me ( that a whole other thing ) so I called around Dr.trouten saw me right away and took care of my cat's needs He did amazing job and im so grateful he was able to take care of her... Thank you she is doing great

The best people I have ever met work here. They truly care about your animal as if it is their own and they try to work out the best payment they can for you. Growing up I always thought taking your animal to a vet meant thousands of dollars (which some places can) but not here. They care. They help!

I've been seeing Dr. Trouten for my fur baby for a few years now! I highly recommend him! He's very knowledgeable! I love how personal it is, he takes his time with you and your fur baby. Its not a get in and get out he takes his time like a true doc should! His prices are very reasonable! I've never met a vet that truly cares about all his patients like he does. I seen him tonight and his words stuck in my mind "I love being a vet because there is no better feeling of helping animals live a healthy life" Dr. Trouten has almost 50 years of experience his knowledge shows it! I couldnt be more grateful for the services he has provided us!!!

My cat Milo was in here and let me tell you Dr was amezing. Got him stiched up in no time. He even made my cat passport ????????‍♂️ So he can travel. It's not often that you come across a person as amazing as Dr. Trouten. My family had an emergency with our cat early on a Sunday. Dr. Trouten answered his phone and agreed to meet us at the clinic even though they weren't open. Thank god he was there to help because my cat's wound was severe and we were about a day away from him losing his tail. 2.5 hours and a minor surgery later we had a cat who was healing and stitched up perfectly. He even called in help (she was amazing!). We are overwhelmed by the generosity shown to us. He has customers for life in us and I'll always be an advocate. Absolutely wonderful people here. Thank you!

I was desperate to find a caring personal veterinarian to take care of my ailing cat. Dr. Troutan opened his clinic on a saturday morning, outside of his business hour and took time to examine my pet and explain what was needed. He kept my cat overnight and called me early sunday morning to have me return to the office to check on my cat. Dr. Troutan is a gentle caring Dr. I recommend him to anyone who loves a 4 legged member of your family.

We have taken our pets to this vet for years. He is very kind and also accommodating as far as getting your pet in to be seen quickly if needed. Prices are also reasonable. Highly recommend.

Dr.Troutman is a dog whisperer

Had an emergency and he had offered to come in a little earlier so we could see him the same day. If you call him you may think you woke him up or bothered him in some way- you didn't. He doesn't hear that well with his cell phone and he's naturally a quiet guy. Very professional and cares about the pets comfort and health. His office is a little "old school" but functions well.

Years ago, this was the place to go for value. It’s not pretty, but it was more affordable AT THAT TIME. Now, the place still isn’t pretty, the surgery room is filthy, and the archaic billing process had the doctor changing amount due THREE times while we waited to put our dog to sleep. Upon injection of three syringes worth of chemical, he said “This is enough to kill a horse”. REALLY? A horrible experience. She weighed 50 Lbs. When we picked up her ashes (no call that they were ready for pickup), the receipt from crematory read 65 Lbs (assuming his provided detail $$$) He’s a racket and is one of them who is more of a money making business rather than a compassionate doctor. He charged $150 more to euthanize a dog that weighed less than the most recent we had euthanized in Willoughby. NOT RECOMMENDED

This guy is awesome... Had a emergency and he was closed but agreed to meet us at the hospital... super nice guy.. He really cares about the animals...i can't thank him enough for his help today...

We had an appointment for today, a Wednesday, which states the hours are by appointment only. When we got there, it was closed. We sat in the parking lot for a half hour waiting. The doctor never showed up. He didn't bother calling either.

Just called to get an x-ray and was told they don't do that on Wednesdays! Ok Thanks anyways sounded like I woke him up . Ok go back to sleep sir ???? My ???? will go elsewhere !

I love this vet clinic. I've been going here all my life and my family has been lifetime customers. Dr Trouten is very caring, and his front desk technician is very sweet and kind. The prices are affordable without diminishing the service at all.

I took my 13 year old dog, Coco there because he was struggling to breathe. Dr. Trouten was very honest and professional. He even told me to call back in a couple hours to let him know how Coco was doing. You can tell that the staff's true focus is caring for the animals compared to other places that only care to rack up your vet bill. I've been to several different vets, and I can say I found a permanent one this time.
