I couldn’t have asked for better care. When my dog quit eating we realized it was his teeth. Dr. Reed stayed and performed a cleaning and extraction of 3 teeth. She stayed after closing to make sure he was okay when he woke up and stayed with him for a little longer till I came to get him. She went over all the details of aftercare .. She showed great compassion and concern for my fur baby. Thank you so much for the wonderful care.

Place is over hyped. The vet barged into the room seeming like she had an attitude or something and reached for my dog right away. Scared the heck out me and my dog, so he ran to the corner of the room freaked out by her. He didn’t bark, squeal or try to bite her. Just tail between the legs and ran while she corner him in the room. Not all but 60 seconds of her doing this. She instantly refused to give him his shots without a muzzle or sedation. Staff here should be trained on how to handle animals. You don’t just storm into a room and reach at a dog that doesn’t know you. I’ve had much better experiences at other places. Just came here because people recommended...

My folks have been taking their dogs and animals here for years.... Since I came back and got MY dog, I already knew a good bit about them. Professional, willing to work with people and animals, and my dog usually has a good time! She enjoys the boarding, always comes out with a smile!

Dr Stark is the best ever! She truly cares about our pups and is so well educated. She thinks outside of the box in order to do what’s best for our animals. We are so grateful for her amazing care!!!

VCA Holly Farms has been my vet since 2007 (?). Before the new building. They have always been so kind to my animals. My pugs actually get excited when they see we are pulling into the parking lot. They love going to the vet - even after they get the shots ???? Today my pug Regan is very sick, they were able to fit me in, even though they were booking 3 weeks out. The alternative would be a trip to the Vet hospital and a $3,000 bill (which would be the same as letting her succumb to whatever is ailing her, due to the extreme cost at the hospital and my cash at hand today - it’s a Covid world, times are tough, it is what it is). I appreciate this beyond words. They gave her another chance by taking her in today. Dr. Siebens particularly has been so kind to my old lady pug when she was sick earlier this year. She even helped with insurance when they denied my claim because my pug coughed 3 years ago - the Ins. Co. was convinced it was pneumonia for 3 years (I believe a medical impossibility) ???? All the doctors are helpful, but that was a standout experience for us. Hoping my pug pulls through today, but I know shes in good, loving hands. And if she pulls through, it’s time for a dental, which Regan will probably be thrilled to get ????... pugs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My dog Abigail absolutely loves going to Holly Farms to see Dr. Stark. My dog actually pulls me into the front door because she is so happy to be there, she knows she is going to get love and treats. Dr. Stark is so good with my dog and so friendly to our family. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a veterinarian for their furbaby.

I have been to three different vets until I finally started going to Holly Farms. My 1 year old dog is extremely nervous and scared around people he doesn’t know and needs to have a vet who goes very slow with him and doesn’t rush it. Dr. Caroline Stark is absolutely amazing and gentle with him and he warmed up to her the quickest I’ve ever experienced at a vet. When meeting Dr. Stark, I immediately got the impression that she really cares about every client and patient and gets on a personal level with you which is hard to find at most vets who usually rush in and rush out. An average appointment with her is 30 minutes for my dog and she spends that time addressing all of my concerns and questions whereas other vets I have gone to make me feel like I need to get out of there quickly so they can see their next patient. I’m so happy to have found a vet I know truly cares about my dogs and wants to give them the best care. I couldn’t be more thankful for finding Holly Farms and Dr. Caroline Stark!

I have taken multiple dogs to Holly Farms for a few years now. I have always been more than satisfied with the caring staff. The receptionists, the techs, and the vets. Dr. Sieben is amazing. Had to see a couple other vets once or twice; they were amazing as well. I completely trust their counsel and advice and feel that they truly care. My whole family goes to Holly Farms with their pets. ♡

My husband and I have been taking our pup Otis to Holly Farms since the day after we adopted him. I have LOVED every experience we have had. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. Otis is never afraid coming to the vet and is always excited for all of the attention he receives from everyone. Otis decided during his visit today that he would pee on the side of the front desk and when I told the receptionist she was not upset at all and told me she would take care of it. Dr. Stark and her tech have gone above and beyond for Otis and we are so incredibly appreciative. She is always warm, attentive, helpful and I fully trust her. We are moving farther away in a few months and we will 100% remain at this vet and make the longer commute. Holly Farms will always have a customer in us!

On Behalf of my mother because she doesn't have a Google Account but I thought it was important to share her experience. Yesterday, 3/4/19 I took my dog Chloe in to get her second flu shot. It was our 4th time going there after adopting her as a pup from the Humane Society. When Chloe got her nails clipped for the fist time ever, something happened and she panicked and bit the tech. Not good, but I'm sure it's not the first time it's ever happened. Checking out, they were just plain rude, like I wanted my dog to bite someone. We asked if they could give her something to relax her before coming in again and they said " no, you need to get her trained". Unfortunately this brings me to yesterday. Chloe was petrified, shaking. My husband pretty much had to drag her onto the scale, at which time he was kind of yelled at " we can't get a proper weight if you pull on her leash", true but why did she have to be rude in such a tense situation? Next was time for the shot, and as you can imagine it didn't go well, but fortunately no one was bit. It was just difficult and she was scared to death. We got the bill and told not to bring her back. I had no intentions of returning but what kind of Vet treats scared pups and their paying parents this way? I would not trust them with any dogs as something had to have happen to her the first time to make her as scared as she was. And I would not recommend them to anyone because no one should be treated the way they treated us. If I could give Zero Stars, I would.

We adopted our dog Maggie and she just was not acting right, wouldn’t eat, had kennel cough, throwing up. We took Maggie to vca. Very impressed with the staff and Dr. ! Makenzie and Dr. Stark was dealing with us a lot and explained everything we wanted to know and what they were going to do. What a night and day difference in her attitude and behavior after being in the care of vca. We will be making this our permanent vet.

Thanks wonderful folks at the office. My wife brought our beagle in due to some labour issues. The vet tech actually brought one of the pups back to life from complications. You guys rock. Thank you again

Have 2 lab puppies our oldest is extremely hyper, both had good check ups and both did very well with the technician and Dr. The entire staff was good to work with they excepted the hyper pup for who she is and didn't treat either negatively. They went back for heartworm checks and came back still happy and excited. Thanks for the good experience both dogs are happy and healthy see you next year!

Very disappointed, I called for an estimate to get my pitbulls ears cropped and they wanted to charge me $1,000! No other place I have called was even close to that! I feel like they were charging so much because of the breed and very disappointed with it.

It's a nice refreshing change from other vets I've dealt with. Dr. Sieben and staff are very accommodating and don't mind double checking their findings to make sure it is indeed the best possible solution for your forever friend. Nothing but positive times spent here. Reasonable prices and they will work with you to get what you need.

I took our dog Rollo, we moved her last year and hadn't established with a new vet. I am very happy with the way they treated him. They were very welcoming and even worked with me on a timeline to get him caught up in his shots. I would definitely recommend them!

My dog Spencer is 14 yes old and always had skin problems and prone to ear infections and Dr. Susan is the only vet who realized he has bad allergies, and is allergic to fleas. I have always treated my pets for fleas but didn't know it had to be done often because even if one flea gets on him it affects him. My boy is living out probably his last days and this clinic and Dr. Susan has known exactly what meds and shampoos he has needed and its wonderful to see them.keeping my dog as comfortable as possible. I would recommend this vet to everyone! Thank you.

After adopting my kitten colby I took him here for his free vet visit. This clinic is so clean you cannot even tell there are pets here! The staff is so nice and professional I decided to do his declaw here despite not living near by. This will always be my go to clinic for him as long as I live in near Toledo.

My dog hurt his leg and I am not sure how. We have a big yard, and likes chasing wildlife in it. So I am assuming he sprained something in his leg. I could hear yelping when he was walking quickly towards me yesterday. So I made an appointment. My dog has no history of injuries, and no past family history. My dog was even born in this animal hospital. I get there this morning and the doctor sees him. I told her the story of what I think happened. She confirms that that's probably the case. She wants me to give him anti-inflammatory and pain medicine for the ligament to heal. Those are perfectly legitimate reasons. I understand that. They said they wanted to run blood work to make sure he was ok to be put on the medicine. I told her I didn't think blood work was necessary, also the blood work cost was $160+. He is just in pain (clearly she saw that). She mentioned she wouldn't give the anti-inflammatory unless I got his blood work done. So for the blood work, meds, physical, another $20 test, and an exercise sheet I am into the visit for over $280. The lady who I handed my card to looked me up and down and with a sly remark told me "Sounds like you should get a better job" since I was worried about the cost (and necessity) of the blood work. I was already dressed for work in a nice dress shirt, and dress pants. I am going to send a letter to their manager letting them know they lost a customer of just over 5 years, and any potential recommendations that I would give. If someone would like to rectify this issue, please contact me. Edit: I received a call from the office manager, who was very apologetic about the comment and asked if there was anything she could do. So I am appreciative there is an emphasis on trying to do the right thing. I increased the star rating of this review to Fair.

The staff is attentive and very kind. You can tell that they love what they do. I feel very comfortable bringing my cat here. They will push items for you to purchase, but no more than any other vet.

Holly Farms has been my vet for about a year now and I really like it. They have a nice clean office with friendly staff. My dogs are always treated very well. One of my dogs has a medication that I fill monthly, Holly Farms always has it in stock and they prepare it quickly when I call. Overall a great vet experience for my dogs.
