Love the staff and docs here!! My furbabies have been patients here for years. They are very caring and gentle with the animals. Like that there are vet techs that have been there for years.

I have a rabbit, so I'm used to Cbus vets being super expensive for exotic species, and half the time an exotic vet isn't on staff when I need one. Sunbury Vet Clinic has been amazing with my rabbit and my dog. They are attentive and straightforward, and unlike most vets here in Cbus, they don't try to upsell you on things/treatments you don't need. My mom has also taken her chickens there. They are loving and patient with all species, have been very easy to get in touch with. Even though it's a bit of a drive, I won't be going anywhere else!

The staff and Dr. Nowac were phenomenal. We had an emergency with our pup and our vet was out of town. They squeezed us in to take a look at him and determined he need surgery. They were packed with their own clientele. I am so grateful for this practice. Without them we would have lost our puppy. They staff is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Dr. Nowac communicated with us every step of the way. Thank you for taking such good care of our sweet boy. We will be forever grateful to your practice.

I think the quality of the medical (veterinary) care is probably excellent. I wrote a 5-star review earlier this year after he fixed my dog's meds really helping his mobility. But then upon further experiences I deleted it. This is an "old fashioned" vet practice...no computers. They won't write an Rx which means you'll pay about 4x more and be scheduling regular re-checks (which cost $$) due to short prescription lengths on long-term medication versus just getting your pet's meds refilled at a pharmacy. The staff seems friendly. The issue I have is two-fold. One, pet owners are not allowed in the building. So he exams your dog inside while you sit outside but then there's poor communication as to the diagnosis. An x-ray was taken I've never seen so I don't know what it shows. A thorn puncture in my dog's front paw pad became infected a couple weeks after an initial diagnosis at Sunbury (meaning I had to spend 6 hours of time and $400 at OSU) because (despite taking him to Sunbury when it first occurred), I couldn't see the injury, my dog wouldn't let me touch it, nobody at Sunbury would show it to me, so I didn't understand what I was dealing with. BTW, OSU lets you inside! There was no instruction from Sunbury to wash the area...just to give antibiotics and spray it. This idea of a "drive-up" vet clinic (like a fast food of veterinary practice where they deliver your dog back to you with a bill and a bag of meds but don't show you anything) results in poor service, poor communication, poor outcomes. Premium price. My dog limped for six weeks longer than he had to. The second issue goes to Dr. Novak personally. He's a hot-head and a loose cannon and I am concerned about the safety and wellbeing of his staff. I've never met this man but on two different occasions he yelled at me over the phone. I'm the customer. I'm the one trying to do the right thing. We should be on the same team. His uncontrolled rage is unbecoming to his profession. Based on these reasons I now drive >30 minutes r/t to Westerville for vet care.

Dr.Nowalk has been taking care of my childhood pets for as long as i can remember . now that im an adult and his partner and him are caring for my dog i couldnt be more happy and pleased with his health and happiness . i highly reccomend seeing them for any of your pets concern. His staff is also just as amazing you can tell they really care about all of there patients and their families!

My dog, Miss Bentley, ADORES Sr. Nowak! She just cries and cries when she sees him. He has a very giving and gentle nature. They say to always listen to your dog because they're the best judge of character and she's certainly right where Dr. Nowak is concerned! He's a great doctor and takes wonderful care of my baby girl!

I'm really fortunate to have Dr nowak as my veterinarian he's an avian vet but he's works with all animals he's taking very good care of my Cockatoo and their exceptional staff is second to none.

Dr novak does exotic birds. He has handled our female sun conure for about 3 or 4 years now.my husband and I highly recommend him. We love how he treats Marley and us. Great vet for your pet or fur babies.

Very easy to work with and our pets are healthier for visiting Dr Nowac. All employees are very friendly and great to deal with.

Helped me with my 16 yr old jack Russell "Lil Bit" when She was at the end of her life. Just wish they offered paw prints with the Cremation.

Brought home a puppy with severe coccidia and Dr. Nowac was just incredible throughout the whole process. When he got dehydrated, he had us come in on a day they were closed just to make sure my pup got fluids. Absolutely recommend them.

I was very lucky to find this vet. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The doctors are also friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. If you love your pet, this is the place you want to bring them!!!

I called them early evening and they got me in within the hour. They were so kind and easy to trust. My bill was reasonable and my little frenchie is doing so much better. I definitely recommend them.

Just wanted to give feedback on a great experience. They were able to work my dog in for an ear infection same day even though she was not a current patient. My own vet could not get her in for 4 days. They were kind and very efficient. Since our visit we have transferred our care to Sunbury Vet. They have taken time out of their day to send us a welcome card and was asking if Olive was doing well. It is nice to have found a vet that is close to home and does a great job. Thank you!

I started to notice my beardie was acting a little off. I called several vets around and nobody would see reptiles. I called Sunbury Veterinary Clinic, the gal who answered the phone was very friendly. After discussing my concerns she put me on a brief hold and then was able to get my beardie in on the same day! Due to covid they came out and got my dragon, while I waited in the car. The doctor called me while waiting in the parking lot to discuss the evaluation which was normal. They also ran a fecal test and the doctor called me again to inform me she had a case of pinworms. He gave some tips on how to prevent and informed me how to administer the medication. He was very kind and gave me a chance to ask any questions. Everyone I encountered was very pleasant. The whole thing took less than 40 minutes and was less than $100, including the medicine. Very caring doctors and staff. For the past 14 years this clinic showed us how much they love animals from pet rats to gentle and rowdy dogs. Appreciative of their clients and provide 24 hour care if needed. Never got the impression that they are there to make money nor to serve as charity. Very clean and safe for pets.

They are always so friendly and they have always taken the best care of my pets. My family has been coming here for over 30 years (well their first clinic and now this one). Absolutely love this place!
