We have been taking our dogs here for some time. Prices are reasonable and the service is fantastic.

Do not bring your animals here! 2 weeks ago, I paid $150 just for the visit, which I Had no problem doing, then $150 for X-rays! My dog was not acting her usual self, she was just laying around not getting up, not eating and not really drinking water or anything, she also was having issues about her leg. They clearly did not listen to me or didn’t care either listen. All they did was take an x-ray and gave her antibiotics for her leg, what about her not feeling good? A dog not eating is a red flag! A dog not drinking water is a red flag! They just completely over looked it! Then they called me so I called them back for 4 days straight, the “system was down” and they would “call me when it was back up” I never got a call back! They clearly do not care about the animals at all! Now, she is back at her vet, staying over night with a possible uterus infection that could have been caught weekend ago, if they would have just listened to me and taken blood work or actually did something about her not feeling well, I will never recommend here or take my fur babies here EVER again!!!!!

I have been talking all my pets here for years. I have had a few pets pass from old age and they took care of everything for me, made the arrangements for cremating and making sure everything went smooth for me, they did all the work and no extra charge. Twice they stayed open late for me when I had an emergency. I can’t say anything but good things about this hospital, we have always been treated like family.

I got Jake from the shelter and brought him here to get neutered approximately 2 years ago. The care was so great I have switched veterinarians and go to Springfield Animal Hospital for all my pets needs. Staff is friendly and Jake loves them. ❤️

Extremely overpriced. They charge $85 just for the pleasure of putting you on the schedule. They call this a "deposit" and you lose it if you need to reschedule, but it doesn't come off the total cost of the visit. Last time I checked, a deposit is an advance payment towards service and is deducted once the service is performed. And no, this isn't the "exam fee". They still charge $60 for that too. Paid $255 in "deposits" (scheduling fees) for 2 animals, one which we had to reschedule. On a followup for our rescheduled appointment we questioned the fees and why the $85 didn't come off the cost of any visit. They changed the terminology and called it an "office visit fee" which is still charged per pet regardless of the number of pets you bring in one visit and in addition to the $60 wellness check per pet. So if you're going for a $15 shot, it's $145 before you even get any actual services

I'm so thankful for Springfield Animal Hospital. I'm here from out of town, and my dog had eye problems. The lady who answered the phone was helpful, but told me they were completely full. I explained it was an eye injury, and she put me on hold. She came back after speaking to the vet (who I assume was Dr. Wolf), and said if I come there now, they could fit me in the schedule. I get there and the parking lot was full, but their curbside service was outstanding. They greeted me out front, took my information, knew why I was there, and got our dog in. Dr. Wolf explained to me exactly what our dog was experiencing, provided detail on how to use the medication, and sent us on our way, all within 45 minutes. It's the day before Thanksgiving, when I'm sure their staff would've liked to call the day early to get home to their families. I'm very appreciative, and cannot thank Springfield Animal Hospital enough!

I have never actually met the vet..with covid we can not go in the building. Was very scary for me turning my babies over to total strangers. And me not be with them. But they are so understanding and they call me durring appt to talk to me. They know the health issues with 1 of them and they r always willing to wrk her in. I am so happy i found this place..yall are awesome

Emergency visit for my dog. Staff was helpful. Showed concern, respect and care for my dog and myself. I appreciate their commitment. Unfortunately my dog needed to be put down. RIP Tequila

$35 to get dog's nails trimmed. Poor job at trimming. I'll do it myself next time.

Really appreciate their cooperation and support for TNR our community cats and kitty rescues. Appointments have been easily schedule and prompt curbside pick up. Staff is great to work with and all our surgeries and medical needs have been good. Appreciate their services, staff and veterinarians.

We could not get our sick puppy into any vet in Springfield. We called SAH and they said they would work her in. They saw her right away!!!They are the best!!

First time going to this vet my dog had an ear infection and had some bleeding on the end of her ears from shaking her head, when I picked her up from her appointment, she was absolutely covered in blood, they hadn’t made any effort to clean her off. Second time my dog had thrown up and her normal vet didn’t have any same day appointments so i called here as she’d been there prior. The receptionist told me to come in within the next 30 minutes instead of making an appointment for the same day, i also had brought up some concerns of her teeth and a hotspot. Vet calls me, says nothing wrong, doesn’t know why my dog threw up, that my dogs seems fine and she couldn’t look at her teeth bc they had muzzled her. I asked about her hotspot ( which was on her side and if you did an exam on my dog you could see right away) and the vet claimed she didn’t see a hotspot and asked where it was. Picked my dog up, and after looking at my receipt they had charged me $100 for an emergency appointment even though the receptionist insisted i come right away. Too expensive for poor quality. Will drive out of town before i go here again.

Took my cat there on friday,Friday, stayed for around 5 hours.. cost me 360.00. They said they could find nothing wrong with him.. he died sunday morning. He was only 4years old. Would not recommend to anyone.

When my own VETERINARY was to busy or whatever & they were my Vet. of 32 plus yrs. S.A.H. WAS their for us in an emergency!!????????????????

Where can I start?! I can't possibly say enough great things about these people. They truly care. One of my boys was ill and I was really scared and worried. Our regular Vet wouldn't squeeze him in today and possibly not tomorrow either. We called Springfield Animal Hospital and they got him in right away. They took great care of him and the Doctor called me herself to discuss his health and meds. I cannot thank them enough. You cannot go wrong taking your pets to them. We are just so impressed and grateful!

$580+ just to watch an very loved young dog die. Thx, for being overly greedy with zero answers! Def wasn’t pneumonia! Hell has a special place for ppl like you. Get out of Springfield if you can’t help with $580+ SMH

My dog had to have emergency surgery our vet did not perform merge yet surgeries and everywhere I called would not take her due to her not being a patient of theirs I called these guys they rearranged their schedule to get her in right away! They saved her life and I will be ever so grateful!
