Companion Animal Hospital Solon, Ohio

My family has been using this vet practice for over 30 years. Dr. William's and his staff are very good, gentle, and I never feel like I'm being sold care that my pets don't need. I'd recommend this clinic to anyone in need of a vet.

Dr phil is fantastic i have been taking my lab Luna and cat Winston to him and staff for the past 4.5 years. the rates are great and even though they are SWAMPED with all the new COVID acquired pets, they make time for loyal customers and emergencies (my cat had a scratched cornea a few months ago and they squeezed us in same day). ALso, our dog is on expensive meds for her severe allergies and companion animal hospital has the cheapest price for meds. even cheaper then all the budget websites etc. We love companion animal hospital!

We gave done most everything here from new puppy exams, emergency visits, letting an animal go that is dying, routine shots...they are friendly,compassionate but also realistic and thats a hard quality to find. They understand how important your animal is while being professional, honest and up front about outcomes and the well being of the animal.

Today was my second visit to office. Even though a woman told me they do not charge for second visit, they charged me 28 dollars. Thankfully , when I told this to vetenerian, she said they can refund money to my account. The doctor suggested me to buy Lysine for my kitten. I offered them but this product from their clinic, which I already have 28 dollars account. They charged me 32 dollars. Now, I checked on the Internet how much Lysine is; it is 16 dollars. I could not believe they set me 32$ instead of 16.

Dr. Phil Williams and his staff are a blessing to me and my Collie. I was searching for another vet after consistently not having a good experience at a well known vet in my location. The first time I came to the vet was during the pandemic and she had to go in with the tech and vet on her own, without me. I was so nervous about this because she did not like going into the other vet, even with me. When she came out, she was near Dr Phil's side and wouldn't leave him. She kept nudging his leg and hand to pet her and stood by him the whole time while he explained what he thought was wrong----which turned out to be on the money of what her final diagnosis has become (the other vet thinking orthopedic when it was not). Aside from his caring demeanor, he is always prompt to get back to me on her many issues lately, as well as the staff which is so accommodating always. Their office visit fee is $20 less expensive than the other vets I checked out. For their quality, time, and care, apples for apples, this is a win-win situation with the vet. I would highly recommend Companion Animal Hospital, and have, to anyone looking for another vet. Great job to this facility.

I have been taking my 2 dogs to Dr. Williams since we moved to Solon. He is a wonderful vet and very reasonable. Our curious puppy gets into everything and he is always a phone call away to answer any questions we have. I have never had a vet who is so caring and available. Highly recommend!

My dog is sick, I tried to make an appointment but my call was passed from one to another until they hung up the phone after putting me on hold once again. I called back but they didn’t answer.

I brought my 12 yr old cocker spaniel in for a emergency appointment. I am a truck driver from Chicago. Dr Williams got her in ASAP and spent over a hour on examination to try and figure her issues out. He was very understanding of my concerns and explained everything in depth. The following day, again he explained medications and pros/cons. I wish he could be my home town vet. Felt more comfortable with him than any of my other vets! Highly recommended! Reasonable pricing also!

Companion Animal Hospital is the best! They don't just advertise compassion, they live by it. We have been involved in animal rescue for over 30 years and have worked with a multitude of various cases. The staff here is always loving, patient, and kind. There are people in this world truly gifted to work in their profession, and Dr. Phil exemplifies one who sincerely loves animals and has his heart in his work.

I have three cats and all of my animals are thoroughly examined and gently treated each time we go there. When my older cat was dying of auto-immune disease, the care she received was excellent and sensitive to the cat's ability to tolerate necessary treatments. Each of my cats is individually cared-for and the vet is very knowledgeable and able to explain care easily and tell me what to do clearly and precisely. You can tell the vet, Dr. Williams, really cares about each animal, and Melanie, his receptionist, is very supportive and caring and takes time to make sure you understand everything Dr. Williams related. I have been going to this clinic for my animals for 14 years and won't change. Also, they open earlier in the morning than any other vet and when you have an emergency, that is REALLY IMPORTANT!

Great place. Have been with them for a lot of years. I've had my hamsters and cats taking care of here. Boarded my hamsters there. Haven't boarded cats there. Friendly, always greet you, feels like they really get to know you and your pets. Never had a problem making an appointment or getting in contact with them. Easy to get to off the 91 and Solon road. Our dog Ziggy loves this place! I have never seen a dog so happy to see a vet when we pull in the parking lot! Everyone there is very caring and we know this is a great place for Ziggy to go to when he needs shots or doesn't feel well.

This is a great vet clinic. Dr. Williams and his staff are so kind and accommodating. I had a very challenging and cantankerous pet, and they, as opposed to other vets we had seen, were always so understanding and kind with her. Dr. Williams is also really knowledgeable and always takes time to explain things in detail. I definitely give them five stars.
