I Showed up at 9:09am, nine minutes late , yes I was in the wrong, and had to wait 5 minutes for a customer to try and schedule his next appointment. At 9:14 AM I was informed That I would still be able to get in because there was a cancellation and I would be able to use that spot but I was still going to be charge $30 late fee. Long story short 9 minutes late will cost you almost half of your hair cut price. I did not leave Bentley there to get his haircut. Come to find out the next day there was a $30 charge on our credit card you have to be kidding me I will never be back and I will make sure everyone knows how unprofessional this places have a great day everyone

Phenomenal business! Sam cares an abundant amount about all her clients and pups! She’s hard working and dedicated and does a PHENOMENAL job going above and beyond! Her employees are well cared for which makes the environment so good! They are professional and affordable! Abbie is great too!! Only great things to say, keep up the great work! ☺️

Sam is the best! Even the vet was unable to trim my dog’s nails - and Sam works miracles with her. She is amazing with dogs, which is quite evident by how quickly her business has grown. I am always referring friends to her - and am so grateful for Starpups!

Just left after getting dogs nails trimmed.he a 70 pound lab mix and a bit of a hand full, and he does not like his feet being touched. Sam did a great job wrangling my wiggling dog and finished his nails in less than 10 mins. This was our first time to starpups and we will definitely be back for all of our grooming needs ❤

Excellent groomers. Very professional. I had a pup named Patches that would always howl when it would go to get groomed and a lot of grooming places didn’t know how to handle his howling. When I started taking him to Samantha he hardly ever did howl. She knew how to handle patches and made him feel comfortable. Unfortunately, Patches became ill and I had to put him down. I have a new pup named Riley and definitely will be taking him to Starpups.

She has been taking care of my like little niya for years. I have an all white Schnauzer and she is always so clean and happy when I pick her up. The best part is her white fur is back white again. My niya is 13 years old and well taken care of by her groomer. Very professional, and I highly recommend Starpups!!!

Sam is absolutely the best groomer we have ever had. We have used her for many years and most recently at her new place in Powell called Starpups. We have English Goldendoodles and they are extremely hard to trim. They absolutely love going to get their day of beauty. She does an amazing job and takes pride in her work and spends a long time making sure they look their very best. Her new place, Starpups, is super clean, open and airy! Sam is the best! Would recommend her to anyone!

Samantha is a "God send" to us and our 2 "Australian Shepherds". Being "litter mates" they can be a bit to handle. Yet Samantha handles each without Any problems! The Dogs love her! What more can you ask for? Oh, the "Cuts" they receive are spectacular! Our Veterinarian always comments on that!

Sam has been the only groomer to patiently work with our shitzhu Enzo. He was cut bad as a puppy and is now terrified getting groomed. Sam is amazing with him and he is now getting used to her. Her new business Starpups is cozy and the dogs seem to love. I highly recommend...thank you Sam!

I totally would refer Sam to anyone looking for their first grooms for their puppies. She was super nice and was able to deal with my 7 month old Bichon Poodle puppy for his first groom. I was totally upset the first day when we had his appointment at 4 pm and by 4:15pm i got the call saying my puppy was not at all cooperative and was all snappy and biting. He was off this day and had thrown up twice already and had not eaten, but in general he did get snappy lately, anyways, I went to pick him up and talked to Sam. After a good conversation she offered to try again next day morning at 8AM, and I also took the half an hour class from her for home grooming tips and techniques. And then magically within an hour i got the call again saying Ginger was all done and i was super relieved. Picked him up and he was a totally different handsome pup. Thank You Sam! You have won this pup for ever.

Samantha has been grooming my dogs for several years (a Shih-Tzu and now an Australian Shepherd) when she worked at a different grooming facility . She is very attentive to the dogs, treating them as if they are one of her own. Sam is extremely professional and definitely knows what is best for the dogs’ grooming needs. My pups always look so nice after Sam’s special touch. The open play environment is a total plus! Sam will soon be opening her own grooming salon - Star Pups - I am so happy and excited for her! I highly recommend Star Pups for your dogs grooming needs !

Took my two pups to get groomed and they came back fantastic! They knew just how to handle both of my total opposite dogs. Samantha is an amazing groomer and if you want to pamper your pups for a great price take them here!

Both dogs came home clean, dry, soft, and happy. Their prices are reasonable, their service is great, and our dogs love their bandanas.

Love this groomer. She is so kind to my Cavalier and does a wonderful job grooming her, including following my unique instructions! My dog loves going to see Sam and leaves very happy and pampered. Additionally Sam is a female person of color. I believe it’s so important to support minority businesses in our community.

Where do I start.... first impression is everything! This business very clean and welcoming.. Sam did an outstanding job with our pup! Not only did she do an awesome job, but took the time to go over what she was going to do and answered all the questions I had! Would definitely recommend ????????

We took both our pups there for their bath, trim, and nail trim. They loved it! We have one crazy boy who I am always worried about escaping and one very shy girl. They both loved it there and came home looking (and smelling) fantastic! They even got some cute bandanas and a little bow in our girl's fur. It is also resonably priced which is a huge bonus when you have to take two dogs! It is also located in a really cute area so you can walk around at some shops and such while your pup is getting groomed. Everyone there is really great with pets and cares about what they are doing!

The owner Sam is the most caring, trustworthy, professional, reliable, responsive and affordable pet groomer you will ever find. And did I say quality cut???!!! Wow!!! She is truly top notch!!!
