Vets and staff are very nice. Easy process to schedule.

New to the area. I took my cat to get his nails trimmed. I told them he would be extremely feisty and my former vet and i and one of his techs were able to get it done. Well…. First time of course i wasnt allowed in bldg. ecause of covid. Understand. Next two times allowed in but had to stay in lobby because of liability. After that appt they wanted me to give him 2 doses of gabapentin. NExt time as they couldnt trim one set of paws. Well that never happened before….granted a low dose but……. So i returned. I had given him both doses as required. No luck. Then they wanted to sedate him. I said No. i wanted to say just let me in the room w him… I am not saying these people arent good in their job. But I know my cat. I know how i worked with former vet. Yes the cat did holler but zip zap zip and we were done.

Doctor was great! Very professional and knowledgeable. Receptionist Julia was very friendly, and we bonded over my cat having the same name as her ????. I will be visiting again!

8 years in. New owners are just as nice. Dog surgery went well. Scheduled for another (unfortunately); they seem very interested in care for your pet.

Was surprised to have to pay $40.00 for f/u visit when I already paid 167.00 for injured dew claw a week before. Would not have brought him back for a less than 5 minute visit for her to say he was healing well.

Responsive when unexpected events/situations occur.

The veterinarians are awesome!! And the staff is very friendly. I like the way they take care of my fur babies. I'd recommend them 100%.

If I could I would give them 0 stars. I started with this office nearly twenty years ago and was satisfied with their service. However the original owner/veterinarian retired last year and the vet who took over her practice is appalling. We have three elderly and ailing pets and have spent literally thousands of dollars at that office. The medications and special foods we purchased from them were expensive but thought we had no other options. We learned they were not merely expensive but between 50-60% higher then at Chewy's to name just one competitor that carried the same product. Needless to say we now purchase product elsewhere. Rather than care about animals this office is mercenary to the extreme. It saddens me to write this because there was a time ( before the office was sold ) that care and concern had priority.

The staff is amazing! Very fairly priced and always receive top notch care. This is the only place we’ll go for all our pet needs, to include prescription food. Save a ton ordering food right from the vet!

Nice, thoughtful and helpful staff. They sent a sympathy card to my daughter after her cat had to be put down. Totally unexpected and greatly appreciated.

The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and treat each of my pets with respect and compassion. Efficient, effective veterinarians take the time to do thorough examinations, treatments, and procedures. Staff is good at answering questions about my pets and being sure I am offered everything my pets need. The waiting room has many large windows low enough for my pets to see out of. Natural light floods the room.

Great pet care at fair prices. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the doctors are first rate.

Very kind and gentle with my sick pup and got us in very quickly even though we needed in before his very first appointment with them. You would never know we were first time patients they were amazing!

Powell Vet. Clinic is amazing! It has fair prices, amazing staff, and a clean facility. I commute 30 minutes away just to take my cats here. Thank you for being awesome!

To be clear, I don't use them but took my neighbor to her appointment because she needed help getting her cats there. Vet and staff were very accommodating with last appointment of the day and took their time without ever acting "put out" or inconvenienced even though appointment lasted almost 2 hours, the day before Thanksgiving. My neighbor has implicit trust in the level of care and I thought their customer service was impressive.

My cat had kittens back in December and we didn't currently have a vet we called and got an appointment same day they checked everyone out and gave us a clean bill of health. Quick, inexpensive, and kind. I think we found our new vet!

Full disclosure: Dr. Cristina Sherer is my cousin. We take our dog to Powell Veterinary Clinic because I've known Dr. Sherer my whole life and trust her fully with Comet's care. After we rescued Comet, he developed a small cyst on his lower lip. It grew a little bit, but seemed harmless. However, because it was so noticeable, we decided to pursue surgery to have it removed. Everything – from the surgery, to the post-surgery phone call, to the followup appointment – went very well. It's now a few months after surgery, and you can't even tell Comet had a cyst on his lip. Great work and a very helpful staff!

Powell Vet is the best!

Been coming here for many, many years and have shared many joys and heart aches with the staff. They are wonderful and we drive over 20 minutes each way to this day to take our pets. I will never take out pets any place else.

We took our dog Gracie here after moving into the area recently. Our new neighbors recommended them. Dr Sherer was the nicest, very gentle with our old girl. Really apprecaite them.

Have taken my pets to Dr. Mansfield for the last 15-20 years. This is an excellent compassionate group of doctors and staff. I do recommend this practice.

It's close by and convenient. My puppy is healthy and has all the proper medications. Everybody is nice there.

Very caring and accomodating staff. The vet tech (Julia) even decorated my "to go" bag for my dog's procedure!

The staff here are absolutely amazing and got me in immediately for an emergency for my pet, not something everyone would do, especially for a non-patient. Well I certainly will be a regular there now, I cannot thank them enough for saving my baby! Highly recommend!

Took over four hours to call in a prescription for pain medication for my pet told them what pharmacy to be called into after 11am appt when I arrived at the pharmacy 3:45 no script had been called in . Called office who said they would call in. At the pharmacy again no script called in hour later they called the wrong pharmacy had to call back staff very unprofessional over a 1.5 hour process to get it called into correct pharmacy .Rx finally called in to the right pharmacy at 5pm
