Emergency appointments for same day. Great idea, little costly, but that's what you pay for when you need to make sure your pet is ok.

We came to Perrysburg Animal Care in an emergency situation for our oldest dog chichi. They fit her in that day and unfortunately we came back the next day to put her out of her suffering. They were kind, professional and caring. They made us feel like we had been coming for years. They even sent us a sympathy card signed by everyone. We are now taking our other two dogs there and will be loyal customers. It is hard to find good customer service now a days and at a difficult time this helped so much. Thank you for your compassion! We miss our Chichi greatly but are happy to know she isn't suffering anymore.

Unprofessional. They couldn’t find out what was wrong with our cat. A simple blood test at another vet saved the day…….

They saw my fur baby on an emergency basis, cared for him lovingly and diagnosed his problem quickly. Costs were low considering the fact that he was an emergency appointment, 2 x-rays, 1 ultrasound and bloodwork. Very happy!

My cat had urinary problems, and being new to the area I trusted the reviews to bring him to Perrysburg Animal Care. On the way to finding out he had an obstruction, when I called to have him seen, Taylor assured me that they would allow me to make payments due to the cost of his procedure being a lot more money than what most people have readily available. I just wanted my baby to feel better, and I knew his life was in danger because he couldn't urinate. Again, while he was in the exam room, I was told they'd allow me to do a payment plan to get him better. I was thinking these guys are amazing and they really do care about our pets, because posted in several locations are signs that they do not take payments. Then the veterinarian came in and wrote up an estimate and the story changed. Now they weren't willing to allow payments due to the cost of what he needed. My cat was laying there on the table, dazed because he was in so much pain. They told me I could try to get financing for his procedure or surrender ownership of him to them. Those were my choices. They gave me no time to even try to find a resource, as they refused to even give him anything to help alleviate him until they either had money in their hands or a signed paper stating I was signing off as his "owner". They don't care about our pets; they care about the money. They had two staff people for that one incident bold face lie to me because I told them I didn't have the money available to me in a lump sum. So get a family's hopes up for their pet to be okay by lying to them? Or does the staff really not know what's going on because the communication is so bad within the business? There was no compassion, only money hungry liars who wouldn't even give me a chance to come up with the money. They let my cat lay there in pain, knowing I'd have to sign him over because, unlike them, I wasn't willing to let him lay there suffering. They wouldn't even tell me how he was doing when I called to check on him. They want to promote forever families for pets, yet places like this tear such forever families apart. They sent him to a rescue (who paid for it) where he'll end up being adopted out to yet another family, and ironically they told me a lot of his issues were stress-related. I had adopted him from a shelter elsewhere, where they also stressed he seemed to have anxiety, so how are they helping our pets by these kinds of practices? I had every intention of having him in my family for the rest of his life. I wish I could put it all down here, but I have no doubt Perrysburg Animal Care will never see me or any of my pets again, and I'm doing my best to share my experience with anyone who could ever possibly take their pets there. The "rich" people who take their pets there will never grasp what I'm saying, but they're the ideal customers to Perrysburg Animal Care. I miss my Kaleb so much!

Have brought my dog in several times & received excellent care. Each the doctors seem to care & take the time to listen to my concerns. I'm usually able to get in fairly quickly if I have a concern.

Perrysburg Animal Care has been a blessing to our family. We have had two of our dogs being treated by these fantastic people.

Wonderful staff and vets. My cat was able to get a same day urgent appt. His problem was taken care of and surgery was avoided. Very polite and caring staff.

I haven't had many vet visits in my life but this is BEYOND unacceptable!I would rate this place a zero if I could! My cat was attacked by a dog and we brought her in, they hardly checked her over and prescribed her pain meds and said she had no injuries. Day and a half later we find a puncture wound on her backside, fawl smell, she had an infection ! We took her back and explained that vet had not checked her out properly and would like her to check her over for us after giving her an antibiotic. She shaved and cleaned the area, claimed again there were no more wounds on her...We checked her over our selfs while they were in the back and found an other puncture wound!!! Nothing was taken off the second bill even though it was THEIR mistake and didnt properly check her the day before and again for not checking her over while we were there!..We have found several more wounds on her since then... They won't respond to calls about refills for her medication either. I would never recommend this place to anyone that actually cares about their pets well being.

I don’t normally leave reviews but felt this one was worth it. One of my rats is very sick and yesterday he couldn’t move, let alone eat or drinks. None of the emergency vets in the area would see him because they didn’t see rodents, and his usual vet couldn’t see him until the next day. I called Perrysburg Animal Care as a last resort, and they were able to get me in to have my boy seen that same day. Without them, my boy certainly wouldn’t have made it through the night. I have them to thank for my baby still being here. Already he is starting to eat and drink again and move around. I cannot thank the kind people here enough for treating my rat with the same kindness and love that is shown to dogs and cats and taking my boy’s emergency seriously when all the other vets in the area wouldn’t treat his emergency same day, including the exoctic pet center on Monroe. I will be changing all my rats’ vets to Perrysburg Animal Care after the wonderful care my boy has received, because without them, I would have lost him.

Super super people ... They made a very sad moment the best it could be . A rare quality in our present day and age . If your looking for someone to care for your animals this is the spot . You can see genuine care and concern happening in front of you .

They are great and loving hearted people who loves our furry family. Amazing care and im thank full that they take good care of our pets. Also they helped us adopt our cats. We cannot be happier..

Vet killed my mouse. Handled her too roughly then we left and she died. Called back to report it, and said we'd return antibiotics. Very rude response.
