Great staff and veterinarian. Dr Schroeder takes the time to exam pets and explain things to the owner. Dr. S made a medication for my dogs ears as she has always had infections. She has not had an infection since and it’s been two years. …

Thank you SO much for getting me and my little Bald in for his injury when no one else would. I was turned away from five ER vets due to staffing issues, and my own vet could not get me in until four days after the fact for the same reason. I’m not even your client, and you made it work. Additionally, your facility is SPOTLESS, your techs are gentle and amazing, and your front desk staff is wonderful. Your prices are also super reasonable! Thank you. SO much.

Let me start by saying that we have been taking our pets to Dr. Scroeder for a while now. I thought they seemed to be decent until this last time. Our dog who was 14.5 started declining about two years ago with a collapsed trachea. We made lifestyle changes to help her get through. About a month ago she was starting to lose her appetite. So we decided to take her to Dr. Scroeder. He examined her and felt it could've been Pancreatitis or possibly a fatty liver, or even a chance of kidney failure. He gave her two Injections, one for her collapsed trachea and another to help remove the water from her system. We brought her home and she was still not able to eat. She started vomiting and wasn't able to drink much either. I called after a few days and said that our dog needed to be seen again as she was declining very quickly. At this point she couldn't walk anymore. Dr. Scroeder felt if he kept her for a few nights maybe she could turn around, even though she was dehydrated and vomiting and obviously dying. Let me recap this scenario...the dog was 14.5, dehydrated, couldn't walk, wasn't eating or drinking, vomiting, but he still gave us a glimpse of hope which was his ploy to make money on saddened pet owners. We went back two days later to pick our dog up. She was no better, she looked awful. But he said it was okay to take her home for a few days and maybe she would perk up. Seriously??????? I refused and said that I wanted Binky euthanized and enough was enough. So during the process he couldn't even get the line in her veins. He poked and proded my poor dying dog as many as 5 times. It was brutal. He only kept her those two nights for financial gain of 1,000. He knew our dog was dying. But he lied and said that there was possibly hope. Come on....you are a veterinarian and you are smart enough to know that an animal is dying. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS VET CLINIC. I WILL NEVER BRING ANY OTHER PET TO THIS VETERINARY CLINIC IN THE FUTURE. Dr. Scroeder I feel you used us when you knew damn well our dog was dying. I am sad over our loss, but that's NOT WHAT THIS IS ABOUT. PLEASE EVERYONE CONSIDER YOUR CHOICES. DR. SCROEDER IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED.

Dr. Schroeder and staff are amazing. They treat my fur babies like family there. Dr. Schroeder saved my Golden Retriever’s life. I’ll never forget it. It was a Saturday and they rushed Cooper in where he had emergency surgery. Dr. Schroeder had somewhere to go to but still took his time, saved Cooper’s life and went well above and beyond any other vet I have ever gone to. I know for sure, Cooper would not be alive today if it wasn’t for Dr. Schroeder and his caring and compassionate personality. I also know my senior dog wouldn’t be alive still if it wasn’t for Dr.Schroeder and staff. He is always a step ahead and explains everything thoroughly. I highly recommend this vet❤️

Took my dog in to check her allergies and they were very rude and unprofessional. The vet tech grabbed my dog by the tail, dragged her over, and it ripped out a clump of her fur. They only care about money and try to get you to buy unnecessary medicine. The veterinarian only took 2 minutes to talk and half the time he was out in the hallway trying to get to his next appointment. 0/10 do not recommend.. too many bad experiences here.

I have been taking my pets to Doc since for at least 5 years at this point and he has been the most wonderful vet I've ever had. Last year we brought in our family dog when she noticed she wasn't acting herself. Despite the fact that she is not a fan of people trying to look in her mouth he still managed to notice a spot that looked off on her tongue. As this was during the pandemic we had to wait out in our car and communicate via phone. Doc called us to say he might've seen something but she wasn't letting him get a better look. He offered the option of sedating her during their lunch period so he could get a better look. He called us while she was under sedation asking if we wanted him to biopsy the suspicious patch on her tongue and send it out to see if it would be a problem. He kept us updated every step of the way. He was very caring and empathetic to us when the biopsy results came back and we found out that it was cancer. He was incredibly patient with us as he reviews options and prognosis possibilities with us. We were facing pretty grim odd, but if surgery was successful we would have more time with our girl. Was it cheap? Not by a long shot but if there was any chance of giving us more time with her it was worth it. The whole team kept us in the loop from the time we dropped her off that morning until we picked her up later that day. Doc called us himself after the surgery to let us know that she made it through surgery and was in recovery. We picked her up that day and one of technicians walked us through everything we needed to know and told us to call if we need anything or had any questions whatsoever. To our surprise we received a call from the Crossroads team the next day to see how our girl was doing following her surgery. They removed almost 70% of her tongue. That was last October. She is still here with us today because of Doc and his team. I will never be able to thank them enough for what they did for us.

We have been with Crossroads for many years and have never looked back! With every one of our kitty cats, Dr. Schroeder and staff have shown the utmost care, concern and compassion. We have never had anything but a 5-star experience and trust you all immensely!

The review from Nya Peterson below is accurate. She is one of Piper Symister’s owners, who is in fact in your system. (10:30am appt 12/7/21). Let me clarify that this is not ‘cyber bullying’, it’s an honest review. It’s difficult to attack a company’s reputation when is already appears to be poor from several other reviews below. So disappointed to learn what happened this morning. Absolutely unacceptable to treat pets & owners this way when operating a veterinarian business. We will not be back and would never recommend using them. “ Took my dog in to check her allergies and they were very rude and unprofessional. As a current veterinary student, I just want to sing the praises of Crossroads Veterinary Hospital. They have always been able to get my highly fractious cat in, and they do such an excellent job with her, even though she is very hard to work with normally. I have taken her to other hospitals after moving out of state and no one has ever been able to handle her fractious attitude like Crossroads can. Dr. Schroeder always takes the time to go through everything with me and is a wonderful diagnostician. He has also been able to get my cats in immediately for emergencies before, coming back early from lunch to try to help save my dying cat (who unfortunately still passed away, but everyone at Crossroads did everything in their power to save him). I have recommended Crossroads to my entire family, and they all have nothing but great things to say about this hospital. The technicians at Crossroads are also absolutely fantastic. They take their time to explain every cost, every procedure, and every single thing they do to our fur babies. They are kind, understanding, extremely compassionate, and you can tell that everyone at Crossroads has a true passion for what they do. As someone who is looking to go into the veterinary field soon as a veterinarian, Crossroads demonstrates everything that is right in a veterinary practice. If you are looking for a veterinary hospital and staff that will care for your pets like they are their own family, look no further than here.

I would not recommend. I feel it is about the money for them. No compassion or humility.

I switched my 14 year old puggle to Crossroads Veterinary Hospital in March of 2021. One of the best moves I ever made. My dog recently had a gastrointestinal issue and Dr. Schroeder and his awesome staff got my dog in the same day to be seen. The care they gave my pet, and the compassion they showed with me during my dog's stay was beyond amazing. I was given daily updates, and when speaking with Dr. Schroeder or anyone of his staff, I did not feel rushed. They took their time to explain everything in detail and addressed all of my concerns with care and patience. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for my Rowdy.

Awesome vet found a blockage in my labradoodle Kevin and cleared the afternoon to do an exploratory on him and found a sock. I try to keep everything up and out of the way from him but sometimes things happen. Big thanks to Dr. Schroeder and his staff! Great people

Dr. Schroeder and Sandy were great with our difficult dog. Libby is terrified by vets and groomers and can be snappy. They were so calm and gentle with her, won her trust with treats, and took their time. While they had to muzzle her--she needs muzzling, believe me--most of the exam was done with no muzzle on. I couldn't believe she stopped shaking. We will definitely be back.

Great receptionist great vet techs,(kind understanding)Seem to enjoy their jobs which makes me feel comfortable with my babies being seen.As far as Dr.Shroeder,he's proven to be very knowledgeable and wise when it comes to animals and their conditions.I once saw a much older vetinarian that had been in the field many years and they wrongfully diagnosed twice.Dr.Shroeder suggests what could be going on and then does the testing and seems spot on.Hes a good Doctor. The place is a hidden gem ????

Called because I suspected my dog had a UTI and I knew it was surgery day so they weren’t seeing patients but asked if they could squeeze her in the next day some time. They told me I could just bring in a urine sample and then only pay for the lab testing and antibiotics. We dropped off a sample about an hour later and they even ran it right then and there for us even though they were only supposed to be open to surgery patients that day. So accommodating and understanding, I love going to this vet so much they always take such good care of my animals and even remember them on repeat appointments :)

I’m so grateful to the staff and Dr Schroeder. I brought my dog with me from out of town and she got sick. Crossroads Vet Hospital was the blessing for us this day! They made time for my dog, treated her carefully and with kindness. They explained every charge and what I could expect. My dog is doing better now and I’m full of gratitude. I recommend this clinic without reservation! Highest possible rec for Dr Schroeder and his kind crew!
