Always receive high quality veterinary services. I have to sometimes wait for an extended period beyond my scheduled time, but I attribute it mainly to me scheduling one of the last appointments of the day - I’m okay with it as I know the delay is likely a result of them taking emergency cases throughout the day - they really are in business to take care of animals!

Years ago we took one of our young cats there to be spayed and have front paws declawed (which we will never do to a cat again! We now have 6 cats and 5 have all claws) and we also had an elderly Golden Retriever we needed help and had to go elsewhere due to the nasty front desk girl. Our cat's front paws were done by laser here, and someone didn't know how to use it (another Vet told us) because part of her claws grew back and I feel certain they have always been painful/a problem for her. Never going back!!

Very pleased with the expert care from this veterinarian. After taking my cat to 2 other vets previously, and they sent us home with no diagnosis and no treatment. For Paws was able to perform necessary diagnostic tests, and prescribed medication to alleviate my poor cat's discomfort. Highly recommend! Truly care about our treasured pets! Thank you!

We chose this vet after searching for something closer to our new home instead of a 25 minute drive to our lifelong clinic in another town and we were thankful for them getting us in fairly soon. What a mistake that was and I truly wish I had read the reviews about cost prior to our appointment on 11/13/21. We have 2 older dogs and a new puppy which they happily allowed us to bring all 3 to this appointment. We arrived, spoke to the techs about why we were there, our pups were whisked off while we remained in the car and now after a 20 minute visit and being presented with a shocking bill of $586, I feel scammed! This was meant to establish care, and to create a relationship! Now I am left to wonder whether vaccines and other items were truly issued when we were not in the clinic at the time of administration. I now see that others have also experienced this and that the business is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau! Dr. Jellison - you need to call the pet parents and discuss a care plan before taking action, allowing us to make informed decisions before cleaning out our wallets! We will not be back to your clinic and pray that others make smarter decisions than we did!

This is the only place I take my dogs. They truly care a lot about your pets health and safety. I especially appreciate the next day follow up phone call to see if all is well. Highly recommend.

They got me in the next day when all other vets were telling me a month or two. They gave quick, professional, quality care and it was very reasonable. The dr. was so kind and listened and the staff was very helpful and explained things so well. I highly recommend.

I scheduled an appointment and specifically requested update on shots and boardatella vaccine, the appointment was three weeks out and we arrived 10 minutes early and sat in our car for almost an hour before the vet tech came out to retrieve our dog. She asked if there's anything I would like checked on and I told her there is a lump on his armpit. She took my dog and came back out 5 minutes later and told me there is a shortage on the boardatella vaccine for all stark county vets (which is false because I called three other vets afterwards who said there is no shortage), she handed me my $171 dollar bill and told me they didn't have time to look at the lump on his armpit.

I had such an amazing experience here recently my puppy got really sick and we had to rush him to the vet. This was all very scary but I am so thankful for everyone there from the amazing veterinarian to the receptionest and vet techs they were all so great! Going above and beyond to get our dog the care he needed and they were fantastic in giving us helpful information and educating us on his medication and the care he would need in recovery. Really great people work here can't say that enough ????

My cat had a blood in her urine and I tried to get a hold of 6 different vet clinics before this one, and none of them helped me out. All of them said they were booked until the middle or end of October! I had been to the same vet office for 13 years and they wouldn’t see her for two weeks. I pulled up to their clinic frantic and the veterinarian said she would gladly help my cat. Their techs are awesome too! They really care about the animals and the families. Will be switching my pets to this clinic and highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing vet with amazing staff! ❤️

Aug '20- Had 3 dogs in for annual heartworm testing and a few vaccine updates, paid $300+; all were negative; went online to 1800petmeds to place order for 6 month supply of monthly heartworm medicine only to find Four Paws would not release the prescription to them. I called FourPaws and they said they no longer cooperate with outside pharmacies! They forced me to use their “pharmacy”, which cost $74 higher than 1800pet meds. If that’s how they want to run their business that’s fine but at the very least, they should tell clients at the time an appointment is set that they DO NOT COOPERATE WITH OUTSIDE PHARMACIES! At least then the client can make an INFORMED decision if they want to continue with the appointment or choose another vet that actually participates in the free enterprise system. AFTER I complained and asked for a call from the Doctor (never got a call) I was told by two different staff members that they would price match. The price match never happened, so sitting here with unnecessary $74 deducted from my checking account. Then I called their pharmacy which is named Vetsource, and the lady there told me that she checked the 1800petmed prices online and it was only a $5 difference. Not correct! I sent her the email receipt from pet meds showing it was $74 cheaper. Still sitting here with no response.

gave my dog a round of vaccines some yrs ago after which she immediately developed severe illness coupled with anomalous allergy wich have not gone away completely yet after 4 years. a month later when i came in with the concern they seemed to already know her symptoms before i could tell them and then sold me an immunotherapy kit for the destruction they just wreaked on her immune system.. the immuno drops did not work because her immune system was compromised and sensitive from their poisonous vaccines. i do not get vaccines anymore

Ok, before the covid . Was awesome!!!! Now.. they take our dogs/ OUR boys!!! There not taken care of them at!! Bailey has been back 2 times for the same thing, over 200 bucks spent each time, for his ear infection. When they bring him back out they have NO idea what there talking about, but sure have the bill and want there money!! I've called 2 times, left messages, and asked for a call back. Due to my work schedule cant call when there open. But have never got a call back. Baileys ear infection is still there so were taking him to PET GUARD were we can go in with him and make sure that A doctor will look at him and take care of his problem!!!! We have been taking our pets to for paws since she started!!! Now.... done... no more respect for our family members. Were done and wont be back. Sad ... Not the only one eather.!! At the dog parks theres alot more saying the same thing. Guessing money must be more important than taking care of our children....

I decided to try these guys after years of using Hometown Vet during the pandemic just because they are so close and I wanted to support local folks. I had just adopted my "foster" kittens, they needed shots, a good look-over and boosters. They had been fixed by Stark Cty Animal Warden and arrived at my home with sore behinds, but otherwise in amazing shape, so none of that was needed. They were whisked off in their carrier and a tech came back with forms and prices that even Hometown, who are known to be on the high end cost wise, were eclipsed by! I felt trapped and was about to question one of the costs, but the man was frazzled and I said ok. Later I found out that the 3 month supply of flea treatment that one can get at petsmart or on line was almost double the cost! I understand you need to make a profit, but that's too much. Right there in the parking lot the vet said, "Let's schedule your next visit". I wanted to ask about food and care as, I haven't had kittens for years, but that comment put me off a bit. She seemed like a nice person and I wanted to get to know her and assumed I would like her and I could walk there in the summer... I know it is the pandemic and everyone is trying their best. Still...

THE BEST vet experience I have ever had in my life. We are newer to the area and I have a very sick cat. Especially with COVID they called me every day, had us to extensive treatments and reassured me the whole time with constant communication. I work 12 hours a day and for them to monitor our cat during work hours was a god send. I feel as though this is the best decision I could have made. We have three other cats and a pup and I can promise I am never going to another vet! Lucy, my husband and myself thank you!! :)
