I absolutely love this place. My vet that I have insurance with is too busy to see us even in an emergency driving to any location within a two hour radius for WEEKS. Cold Spring has gotten me in within 24 hours every time and taken the absolute best care of my kitten who I was so scared would die if he wasn't seen. They have a caring staff and great communication. Highly recommend!

I found a stray kitten on my porch that had some issues on a Sunday, and finding a vet in Licking County who would come in on a Sunday is no small feet. I called Cold Spring's emergency line in a panic, and Dan immediately answered and set-up an appointment for my kitten to be evaluated by Dr. Martin that afternoon. Dr. Martin was able to quickly figure out what was going on, and do surgery the next day to address her infection. I had them board her for the week, and Dan was great about sending updates and communication. Anytime we had questions, they were very responsive and clearly care about cats. I am so thankful to know that if I run into this situation again, I can give Cold Spring a call. Dr. Martin literally saved this kitten's life, and she's all healed up and traveling to her forever family next week!

Today, I had to let this ball of fur go to doggy heaven where she will no longer be suffering....???? I just wanted to say that this vetinarian office, COLD SPRING ANIMAL CLINIC Are ABSOLUTELY wonderful! They show so much compassion and are such genuine people and treated me like family. I can't say enough!❤❤ They understood my heartache and that I didn't want my pet to suffer and I had never been there before. Mother was devastated and they talked with us and helped us realize we were doing the rt thing and not feel guilty. THANK YOU SO MUCH From the bottom of my heart!

Cold spring animal clinic here in mount vernon rd just across the Glenridge village where we live was really a good vet clinic overall , I also think they price reasonable and comparable from other veterinary clinic around ,they don't even push the expensive tests first , they will manage the problem because it's allergy season unless it's unmanageable that he needs to get an expensive 200$ blood work for allergies , but the doctor vet said she doesn't think Jiggly my 6 month old male puppy needs it yet , they gave him a shot for allergies food for 4-6 weeks and antibiotic ointment so he can get through the allergy season . all my questions she answered in details , she told me that she will assist me when I'm ready to register Jiggly for the pedigree from American kennel Club and she said they can speak for us in regards to owning Jiggly so he can be fully registered as a pure breed as well as registering his microchip. The staffs are so awesome , helpful and very professional . Me and my puppy enjoyed the vet visit .overall awesome experience and Highly recommended. I feel safe that my animals will be well taken care of, In fact I will bring my other two cats to them as well , The visit is so pleasant that I scheduled another visit for teeth brushing , me and Jiggly can't wait to come back

I had been going to another vet for quite a few years with no complaints. Then, I heard about Dr. Martin over at Cold Spring Animal Clinic and decided to go check it out. I have a new vet! Upon arrival, I was greeted by fantastic staff and made to feel welcome. As I went over my dog’s symptoms, Dr. Martin listened very carefully and then provided options with detailed explanations of each one. My dog fell in love with not just Dr. Martin, but her staff as well. It seems the treats there are superior to the ones at home. I immediately switched over to Dr. Martin at Cold Spring.

Very understanding, helpful and compassionate Doctors and staff. I hospitalized my animal for around a 1000.00 when everybody else quoted us over 2500.00. You can tell that everybody there really loves animals and cares about the clients. Thank you so much, as you guided us through such a difficult and stressful time.

We have been patients of Cold Spring Animal Clinic since 1996 at least, maybe longer. Dr. Snyder is the most caring and amazing vet I have ever met. Since he sold the clinic they have changed. They have taken on too many patients and do not get pets in even in an emergency. I love Dr. Snyder and would move mountains to keep seeing him but this new way of doing business is disgraceful. We are currently seeking a new vet due to the lack of concern for our pets. Dani is a horrible addition to the staff and we need the old staff back. Absolutely disappointed and appalled!!!!

They don't communicate! They don't answer multiple calls/messages. Not only did the not give proper care, their lack of care KILLED him. That was the beginning of the month. STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED HIS REMAINS, AND ARE BEING TOLD THAT IT WILL BE THE END OF NEXT WEEK BEFORE HE IS HOME. absolutely disgusting.

An absolutely wonderful place to get your pets taken care of! Brought my baby boy Bandit in, on deaths door, they were very honest with me about our options and what we wanted and that they weren’t sure if he was gonna make it through the night. Thankfully my baby boy is quite a fighter ! He pulled through and is just as rambunctious as he was before he got sick. I’ve since taken my twin puppies there for all their vet care and micro chipping ! Very affordable and such friendly staff. Dan and Dr Martin are such a pleasure to work with!

Dr. Martin and her staff are absolutely amazing! We recently had to make a decision to put our 11 year old German Shephard down and they came to our home where our family could say our good byes and he could be not be alarmed going into the office. Had both my dogs in for dentals. Saved over $500 from my last vet. They called to let me know when my dogs were recovering. They also called the next day to see how they were doing. Seriously? These guys are awesome. Dr. Martin took great care of my dogs. We started a new arthritis medicine for the old dog. She's like a puppy again. Couldn't be happier. Thank you.

My daughter’s 15 year old dog got very sick in the middle of last night. Her regular vet is in Gahanna. She called MedVet and they told her she could bring her in but she may have to wait up to an hour. She decided to call Cold Spring and they told her to come on in. They would put her in the first available room. They brought her right back when she arrived. They were so kind. My daughter knew there was probably nothing they could do and she didn’t want to see her suffer. Dr Snyder was so patient and kind. He explained everything to us and told us to take all the time we needed to say goodbye to Nico. Thank you to him and all the staff members who helped make this event much less difficult

These are some awesome people. They took care of my sisters dog. They actually cared and the vet took her time and explained everything. Awesome place and people.

If you are looking for exceptional care for your furry loved one, please consider Dr. Martin at Cold Springs Animal Clinic in Newark, OH! Dr. Martin was very personable, thorough, and knowledgeable. Our pup, Minion got her enormous cyst and a handful of teeth removed this holiday season. They even gave her a festive wound dressing!

We have taken our dogs to Dr Snyder for years. We value his knowledge, compassion, and experience. Recently, we needed to bring in our aging dog for evaluation. We were told that Dr Snyder could not get him in as quickly as a new doctor on staff could. I was very concerned about having our dog examined by someone I had never met but I did not want my dog to wait, as he was in pain and uncomfortable. Enter Dr Martin. In short, she's fabulous! She came outside and greeted me (Covid is keeping people from being able to go into the office). She took the time to listen to all of my concerns and happily took my page-long write up of information, concerns, and questions. She took our dog into the office and examined him. When she came back out, she explained in great length, and great detail what she had discovered. She was very thorough, explaining what she did in the evaluation in order to come to the conclusion. Dr Martin also answered all additional questions that we had and told me what the options were going forward. She is clearly knowledgeable and very friendly. I have full confidence in Dr Snyder and, now, also Dr Martin.
