I rarely write reviews, but the negligence we experienced at this place is unprecedented. The only reason we switched vets from Oakside (wonderful) to Maple Run (awful) was for convenience, they were closer to our home. We brought our dog in on 11/15/21 to have a lump on her leg checked out. After a short exam they said it was a mast cell tumor (apparently a pretty aggressive form of cancer) and said it needed to be removed immediately. Lucky for us they had a cancellation the following day (11/16), and given the level of urgency according to the vet, we agreed. We take our girl in for surgery 11/16/21 and pick her up that evening post surgery. Everything seemed fine at first, she was lathargic, but we assumed that was from the anesthesia and pain meds they sent her home with. On the 18th we received a post op call and she was still doing ok, still not herself, but seemed that she was getting better. On Friday (11/19) she had popped her stitches open so we brought her back in that day and they gave us some gel to apply to the area, we had a cone on her so she wouldn't lick after that and regularly applied the gel as instructed. 11/21/21 was the last day of her pain meds, so we expected her to start bouncing back to her normal high energy self, she was an old dog (10 years), but she still had loads of energy before this whole debacle. She did not bounce back and continued to decline. By Tuesday (11/23) she was basically immobile, didn't want to get up, hardly wanted to eat or drink, so we brought her back to Maple Run same day (11/23). They checked her out, took her temp, drew her blood, blood work was normal according to the doc, slightly elevated levels of the liver function indicator, but lower than they were pre surgery. Doc said it's little cause for concern and sent us home with some stomach meds saying her immune system was weakened by the surgery so she probably picked up a virus or something... Today is 11/24, we woke up to our loving, sweeter than life girl cold and stiff as a board... She passed away in her sleep and we are heart broken. We paid this vet around $500 to kill our dog. My wife and I are beyond upset and will never bring another animal to this establishment. We lost a member of our family 8 days after a surgery that was deemed essential and overall seemed pretty routine for them. I realize she was an older animal, but the way they downplayed the severity the entire time is unacceptable. We did not expect this and are now grieving the loss of our sweet Luna and have to explain to our toddler why Luna isnt here, it's gut wrenching. If you care about your animals, do not bring them here, you will be treated as a transaction. UPDATE 1/3/22: It has now been a month and a half since Luna's surgery and death. We have still not received the results of her lab work that we paid for. Just because she's gone doesn't mean we don't want to know...

I took my dog Bella in for an appointment cause she was not feeling good they did blood work in an exam they said nothing was wrong with her I took my dog back home she did not get no better and then about a week later she passed away I won't answers everybody lied to me

Wonderful, caring people, excellent medical care, and affordable prices. I'm not sure what more you could ask from a vet. Easiest 5 stars I've ever given.

Not my typical vet honestly never heard of them until today when my puppy started having seizures and i started calling every vet that popped up on google they are the ONLY vet that didnt have appointments left but MADE time for my sweet girl and the bonus they werent rude for having to stay late for making room for her they were so sweet and so helpful. Definitely going to become my full time vet!

Took our baby girl, Kee Kee a Samoyed to Maple Run Veterinary clinic for her dental visit. The care rendered by a great caring staff was well worth the hour plus drive. And the price was the absolute best!

Very nice and freindly Great with animals my family has went here for years and I don't have nothing bad yo say about that. however it's location is slightly out of the way HOWEVER it is a nice drive with good scenery!

Our lab got a fish hook in his tongue and maple run worked us in to remove it. She was great. She got it out and Abe had no problem at all. Thank u maple run!!

I've never heard anything good about this place, but Dr. Prothman from Village Vet was not in in Monday. I called because my cat got ahold of a bunny and although it wasn't majorly hurt I knew it needed antibiotics. When I called they told me there system was down and they would need to call me back. Tried to call them later and they didnt answer. My bunny didnt make it through the night. They don't care about animals, and they obviously can't manage a business. I should have listened to all of the terrible things I heard about them.

Maple Run always treats our family pets with love & care. They listen to our concerns, and help us determine the best course of action to treat our critters.

I've I taken my weimaraners there for years great group of ladies and excellent care. They don't want your first born for treatment.

They were quick and straight to the point. I brought my pet quality bunny for dandruff and shedding way more than his biological brother.

They don't actually care about animals. My 3 dog are patients and when I called per their Google listing says they do house calls but when I called they said no and were more worried about fixing the error on Google than my 11 yr old dog pooping blood.

This is the most wonderful veterinary office in North Central Ohio. They are kind and compassionate and grieve with you.

My first time there was great! Everyone one very nice n the vet had a lil chz wiz trick n neither one of my pitty pups even realized what was going on during their shots! They also clipped their nails n they were wonderful! Pups were perfectly content the entire time!???????? I had two pups getting wellness checks, nails done, their shots, including rabies, and deworming meds to take home and for TWO pups it was under $140. I go back in 3 weeks for another round and I want to have them chipped too sometime! Thank u maple run!! We appreciate u!!
