I always feel comfortable taking my lil chihuahua here and I’m so grateful for that especially during pandemic restrictions. Thank you Brightwood for loving her too.

Dr Podigel, thank you for all you do. Ollie's outcome wasn't what we hoped for, but I appreciate what you did for him. Melissa the vet tech is also so awesome, kind, caring , and professional. The secretary.. well, she is rude and just awful. I've had multiple bad experiences with her, but the last one is a hard pill to swallow! Unforgivable!

Very unhappy staff. They seem preoccupied with their own individual issues. Doctor acts like she's entitled to what she gets, she doesn't have to earn it. Elitist

Brightwood Animal Hospital is a new animal hospital for us after moving to Ohio. Dr Surovi and staff are very friendly, compassionate and competent. My dog had a scary allergic reaction that could have ended very badly. They took her back immediately upon arriving and were able to give her great care to help her. The next morning I received a call checking on her and making sure she was doing okay.

I’ve been bringing my pets to Brightwood for about 3-4 years now and I’ve always received great service and my babies have received great care. Brightwood really came through in the past year when we had some very serious health issues arise for our dog Simon and they made it possible to make sure my boy received the treatment he needed in a most timely manner. I cannot thank all of the staff at Brightwood enough for making that possible.

I have been a client here for years. It is unfortunate that the business is not allowed to respond with their side of the story as I truly believe that the other reviews are one sided. I have had only good experiences here.

Went here for years. There’s some people here that are worth the expensive price you pay to go here, most that were worth it have changed practices. I suggest this be a somewhat low choice on your list, they will treat your animal right (got a 50/50 shot of you being treated well), but they will try to get you for as much money as possible.

They used to be alright. Not sure what happened. I switched vets after feeling like they were trying to upsell me on stuff I didn’t need similarly to a fast food restaurant or a corporate mechanic shop. They’re already too expensive, and to be asking for more money is outrageous.

Our pet was well-attended to and her needs were all considered. We have come here for 7 years and have always been happy with their professional service. :)

Dr Dianna Funk was amazing with our dog. He was having an allergic reaction causing itching and discomfort and she zeroed right in on it and set him up with the proper medication. Everyone on staff were attentive and personable . We love Brightwood as all 4 of our fur baby’s are patients there.

Brightwood made time to see our cat on an emergency basis just before opening time. Dr Surovi was compassionate, knowledgable and decisive in her treatment. The front office staff (always so important) were friendly and organized. Full marks on all accounts.

Had the best Vet appointment for my cherished dog Winter. I was treated so nice by the awesomeness staff not to mention the sweetest doctor ever. She gave me so many pointers on how to help my baby lose weight and addressed every issue I had! 5 stars in my book!

Why isn't 0 stars an option? I have been taking my rescue Chico to Brightwood for approximately 2 years. I chose Brightwood because I had heard so many rave reviews from so many people it seemed to be a no brainer. I couldn't have been happier with the care and love shown to my baby. That has since drastically changed. I took him for his yearly check up back in January 2021 and did not have the same experience. Due to covid I had to stay in the car which I completely understand. The girl who came to my car barely gave me 2 seconds of her attention before snatching his leash and walking away. She had never seen my Chico before and I wanted to give her a couple pieces of info on him, I barely caught her attention before she headed in. Frustrating yes end of the world no however I wasn't thrilled or impressed with being made to feel as though she didn't have time to hear from me on how to properly care for my boy. In addition the bill was outrageous. He didn't need shots and the bill was more than double what it was the year prior when he did receive shots. I wasn't thrilled. Talked to a couple people and they had similar issues with them. Well found out they are under new management. I was willing to give them another chance. Today I called due to my Chico throwing up for nearly 36 hours with little to no improvement. I was thinking they could get us in this afternoon or early tomorrow, as they have in the past. I left a message, didn't get a call back after an hour. I called again and a woman answered. Here is our conversation verbatim: Me: "Hi I'm really hoping to get my boy in this afternoon or tomorrow. He has been throwing up about 36 hours now on and off and isn't making much improvement." Woman at Brightwood:(with so much sass and snark in her voice) "I don't have anything until July!" Me: (out of utter shock) "ummmm my dog will be dead by July!" Her: "Well, you saying that isn't going to change anything! Want the ER number?" Needless to say I hung up. That is the most inconsiderate, heartless, and horrible way treat someone who is extremely concerned about their furry family member!! Especially, from a veterinary office!!! Fair warning to everyone who loves their pets, don't take them to Brightwood!

My toy poodle had numerous teeth pulled die to dental disease. I have to give kudos to the vet tech (I forget her name) for doing a fantastic job! She was very informative, compassionate, and all around a pleasure to deal with.

My groomer Cheryl is the absolute best. She loves her job and it shows with care and concern for my dogs and cat. She goes above and beyond to provide them with a wonderful Spa Day. I feel so fortunate to have found her 6 yrs. ago and will be her client as long as she is grooming and I have pets. I would give her 7 out of 5 stars if it was available. Thank you Cheryl for all you do for my gang.

My cat was sent home yesterday with pain meds and they did not refer me to an ER, but instead ran a bunch of useless tests, despite them knowing he had a urinary blockage, which I did not know was deadly until I took him to the ER today (less than 24 hours after his appointment ) and they had to perform emergency surgery.

Couldn't get appointment with local vet for a few weeks. I used to use Brightwood in the past before I moved. Was able to get appointment right way. Even though my dog Annabelle was feeling miserable she was all tail wags in there. Will probably be switching back to Brightwood even though it's a 45 minute drive one way.
