Very nice people took great care of our dog, first time using and will be back. Shot requirements more strengint than my last kennel, but overall happy. Plus that the vet clinic is right next door, should anything arise.

Just picked up our Golden after a weekend away and he was thrilled. We've had other stays where he comes back smelling not the best from other places, which is understandable. When we loaded to leave my wife and I noticed he smelled super clean and brushed. He was bathed and they didn't even charge for it. Everything was so professional and thoughtful during our interaction. They even said they would call to check up on him after we left. Amazing customer service. Would highly recommend!

They were great with my dogs. I have two pitbulls. A lot of kennels have (illogical) breed restrictions and the staff are uncomfortable with larger dogs, especially pits. Not here. In fact one of my dogs was a rescue from an agency that Dahl House works closely with. In short, they are true dog people. They made my dogs comfortable and handled them like professionals. Only cons, and they are minor... The location is not Central, but it's worth a drive if you need a good kennel. They do not use a modern computer filing system. Everything is written by hand and sometimes this can lead to clerical mistakes. However the staff are friendly and professional and quickly address clerical issues.

I've used Dahl house for the last 3 years to board both my dog and my three cats. Every single.time, without fail, Dahl house has given my pets an amazing experience. Availability: I've called Dahl House both a month in advance, a week in advance, and a few days in advance, and they've always been available and accommodating. Customer service: the people who work at Dahl house are friendly, kind, and professional. They all love what they do, they love pets, and it really shows in their work ethic. Services: Dahl house offers several types of "rooms" for their dogs and cats. For dogs, outside of boarding, they also offer doggie daycare, which gives your dog the opportunity to socialize and play with other dogs in a controlled setting. Dahl House employees are also ready willing and able to give your pets any medications they may need during their stay. Recently, we boarded our 17 year old cat Mia, who has a gel medication that had to be applied nightly behind the ear, switching the ear applied each night. Not only did they give her the meds but they documented which ear they gave it each night, so we knew where to resume. Cost: Dahl House is extremely affordable. I can't remember specifics nightly prices so I don't want to list them, but our last visit with them we dropped off three cats (one with medication requirements) on Tuesday morning and picked them up Saturday afternoon and the total was $325, which is beyond reasonable! Misc: Dahl House is also connected to a Veterinarian Clinic that's less than a 1 minute walk away. If your pet is sick, needs a checkup, shots, anything, the two work hand in hand. This is one of the most comforting things for me personally. Our cat had a UTI at one point during their stay and was able to be treated at the clinic. Overall, I can't say enough about how excellent Dahl House is. We live 30+ minutes away but will make the drive over any time we need to board our pets!

We have taken our dog here for years. It is hands-down the best kennel in the area. The staff are kind, helpful, and it's obvious they love animals. The facilities are great. A big plus is they are connected to a vet practice which has given us peace of mind now that our dog is older.

Great people very good with animals

I have taken my dogs here for years. The staff is very friendly and good with the animals. What I like best is that everything the dogs do is supervised, including day care. The second thing I like is that there is a veterinary clinic right on the property, so if there is a problem, there is medical help nearby. When we board our dog, we pay extra for a half day daycare so my dog isn’t in the kennel all day everyday. They even put a mat down in the run because her pads are sensitive to the cement. As others have said. This kennel is very safe and attentive to our pets, but pricey. For $33.00 per day, I wish they would include optional free daycare and not charge extra for giving medications. With all of the horror stories out there about kennel experiences, I leave my precious dog in their care and don’t worry about her.

My cat is happy and well cared for. If they can’t be home, this is home too.

Great place to have your dog groomed

I let my beautiful Rottweiler stay here for 5 days once. It was awful.The same dog did not come out of this place. She came home sick and traumatized- she had kennel cough which required a 10 day round of antibiotics. (She has not had a sick day in her life and had been vaccinated before my trip). The whole episode cost me over $800 when I could have just left her at home and she would have been much better off. Never again. Do not trust this place! The staff wouldn't let me see where would be staying and did not follow my instructions for her care. Be warned!

Meghan did an awesome job grooming our Australian Shepherd/Boarder Collie! He looked great !! So happy we were referred to her???? She was very sweet and Smokey loved her!!!

My husband and I have been taking all of our dogs here for years! Everyone is amazing and caring. My dogs love to go here on the days I work....and they are tired when they get home. They love to play outside with other dogs--they are very socialized. The most wonderful dog people ever....and my dogs are wild! But they get wonderful attention here!! Thank you!!!!
