Pet Palace Hilliard, Ohio

My one-year-old Labrador Retriever LOVES to go to the Palace in Hilliard, and therefore, I highly recommend it. Whether for daycare when you need to get at your to-do list or overnight, they’re great about giving him what he needs and taking great care of him. I’m admittedly picky about his care, and I have nothing but compliments for Pet Palace.

Pet Palace Hilliard always takes good care of our dogs. We opt into the play groups and the one-on-one playtimes. The employees answer the phones and all of our questions when we have them. One time they lost our reservation I made over the phone before a vacation (and we had to scramble), so I would suggest using the online reservation system. Also the place is LOUD so I would not suggest this place for sensitive or timid dogs.

Always had positive experiences with boarding here! Doggos always come back extra happy and almost more well behaved!

I love this facility. I take my dog here regularly for boarding. They are a little pricey but in my opinion it’s worth it because you can choose several add ons - size of room, when they eat, if they get extra potty breaks or play time, etc. They’re always kind when I call or need to move an appt. I’m picky about where I leave my dog but always feel comfortable dropping her off here.

This place is amazing! They take the time to get to know my dog and always let me know if anything happens! They are on top of it!

I gave them a new chew toy to put in the kennel at all times and it came back with out a mark on it. I gave it to my dog (2 year old lab) as soon as we got home and she loved it. Also, my other dog came home with vomit/dirty floors crusted in both ears. All they said is they ate well. I hope, but question they gave my cavalier his meds. He came home in poor health and I wouldnt recommend them for elderly pets..Since they don't have a vet on site and staff don't recognize distress in dogs I wouldn't recommend them for elderly pets.

Very clean, friendly staff. My Pitt bull loves going there for doggie daycare! He's happy when he goes in and happy when he comes out.

Pet Palace took wonderful care of our cat, Momo, during our trip out of town. He seemed happy as can be when we picked him up, and the staff was incredibly friendly as well. I was able to get a full status update with a simple phone call, which really helped to put my wife at ease while we were away from our kitty.

2nd time after staying their my dog has gotten a virus after staying. Not sure why it happens but feel like it's decenly priced to have to pay a $200 vet bill after paying for boarding.

I have had my dog stay here twice in the past 3 months. Both times my dog has come home sick. First time she got kennel cough after playing with other dogs. $133 dollars later from the vet. I This second time she was given to me with diarrhea on her paw. Filthy dirty. Apparently she must have had diarrhea never was told. Now I have to take her to the vet again to be checked out and treated. I will not be boarding my dog there again.

We put our husky a week ago .. great staff and took good care of our pet..I wish they had more cameras available on suites ..

Our dog died under the care of Pet Palace – DO NOT take your dog to Pet Palace if it has a significant health condition. They are not trained for monitoring your dog’s health – they only check if your dog is eating their food. (We do appreciate the staff trying to work with our dog on getting him to eat better). Our dog had congestive heart failure and was doing well when we dropped him off (vet was happy with his recent blood and urine tests), but was nearly dead upon pick-up from boarding. He had to be put to sleep a few hours after being picked-up from boarding. You can imagine the shock of coming back from a family vacation, anxious to see your dog and finding out he’s about dead. The only notification we had from Pet Palace during his stay was that our dog had not been eating well for the past few days (on day 8 of 10 of boarding). Upon pick-up from boarding, we noticed our pet had multiple problems: dehydrated, blisters on mouth, unable to walk, fixed stare, unable to open mouth, terrible smell out of his mouth, brown teeth. It’s shocking that no one at Pet Palace could pick up on these signs of trouble. After taking him to vet emergency care, it was discovered he was in severe kidney failure and was dehydrated, Not drinking water is a very bad thing with congestive heart failure medications. Pet Palace does not document how much water your dog is drinking. If someone had told us how bad our dog’s health had deteriorated, we could have moved him to our vet, come home early, or had a family member get our dog. But there was no notification. There is no vet on staff at Pet Palace, though they have up to 100 dogs in their buildings. Pet Palace website says “If medical attention is required, we will transport your pet to your personal vet with your approval.” which they absolutely failed at. Our vet recommended Pet Palace thinking they would have better care as our vets’ boarding had little care over the weekends. Our vet now regrets recommending Pet Palace. We are now in pain from losing our dog, thinking about the lack of care he received, and the lost time we could have had with our dog. We asked Pet Palace before boarding if they are able to care for dogs with congestive heart failure, which they said “yes” to. I wish they had been honest and said “no – we are not trained to care for pets in that condition”. If you love your dog, do not take them to Pet Palace. Pet Palace should not accept any pets with serious health conditions. I should state that Pet Palace was friendly towards us and our dog. However, the response from the company is inaccurate. We proactively called on day 3 and all indications were that our dog was doing well. There was a call from Vet Palace on day 8 and day 9 only about our dog not eating well (for past few days prior to that). I asked about water intake at that time and they said our dog was fine (which was inaccurate and they have no way of measuring that). There was no information about the dog being in bad condition. There were multiple signals that should have been caught. We received no information that our dog's health was deteriorating significantly nor was our vet ever contacted.

First time boarding my ???? Tandy. Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Environment is clean and welcoming! Tandy was in 1 of the townhome suites and I was happy she had a window. I definitely will be using their services again! Thanks Erica for making my first visit memorable????.

I was in a bit of a pinch when we were moving that I had to change up plans on the spot, these guys made my whole day easier not having to worry about my pup Regan. The ability to help calm me down and reassure me that he would be in good hands really came through, I thought I’d have to have everything booked and scheduled, didn’t realize they could take my dog on the spot! Thank you all so much for helping me out! I’ll be sure to use your services again!!!

We had a wonderful grooming experience. We had been having some bad cuts for our bernadoodle at other grooming salons. Pet palace was awesome. It was easy to book an appointment and our dog looked fantastic. She was in such good spirits going in and coming out. Thank you for great service!

We used them for grooming service. The groomer asked plenty of questions to make sure the trim was just what we wanted. The rest of the building looked very clean and the dogs looked like they were having tons of fun. The staff was very friendly

As a dog mom, I can not express how grateful I am for Pet Palace. To have a reliable place to take them for when I need to travel is such peace of mind. I have three needy pets and I would trust my babies with no one else. They are all always so excited to get into the building, and I know it has to be because they know they are in for a fun time with all their friends-both human and furry. The staff are always professional (and always so nice when I call often to check on them), and you can tell they are compassionate and animal lovers. The facility itself is very clean and my dogs always come home clean. 10/10 Would recommend them to anyone who needs their pets to be loved while you are away!

We rarely leave our dog anywhere. This group did the best they could to make us comfortable. We liked all of the extras offered to make sure our dog got enough attention. Easy check in and out.

Treat workers terribly, i witnesses them treat there employees with the up most disrespect when they were just doing there job i will not be bringing my animal anywhere near your establishment whos knows how a manger could be treating my dog by the way they treat there own workers.

They have everything you need for your pet, the staff is friendly, and our puppy loved going there! He cannot get inside fast enough! They do not have cameras to watch your dog and don't tell you much about what they do while there, but you still feel like your pup is in a safe place.
