Critter Sitters- Emery Merriman Fort Wayne, Ohio

Emery did an amazing job with our zoo (8 cats, a foster dog, fish, and our bearded dragon). She sent daily updates (with pictures), was super responsive, took great care of our house (she even took care of our plants), and really put in the extra effort to make sure our foster dog Archie was comfortable (there were a lot of fireworks while she watched him). She was extremely flexible and easy to talk to (despite my neurotic tendencies). We'll definitely be using her in the future!

Our Golden doodle LOVED his stay at Critter Sitters. George came home completely exhausted, which was really nice for us after a day of traveling. Emery and her daughter are absolutely experts in the field of animal care. They gave us some free tips on dog allergies and how to keep George's separation anxiety under control. We will definitely be going back and would recommend them to anyone. Please understand that this is a one-person business that is mostly being run out of the kindness of her heart. This is NOT a massive pet complex with multiple helpers/rooms/etc. If you want a truly personalized experience, this is the way to go!

The reason I gave three stars is because she wasn't available when I needed a sitter. That rating has nothing to do with anything else. I don't have first hand experience with her services. I hear she's a great person who loves animals. That's why I called her.

Hands down the best & most skilled/knowledgeable pet sitter in town. You know you have a good business when the competition posts lies and fake reviews to try to bring you down. ^_^ Don't let the haters err... hater... get to you.

We were in town with our 9 month old puppy due to a death in the family and needed a sitter for him during the funeral. We contacted Emery with only 5 hours notice and she took in our puppy. He had never been left with a stranger before like that, but when I went to pick him up after the service he almost seemed reluctant to leave. We especially appreciated the pictures we received while he was there. If we lived in Fort Wayne, we would DEFINITELY bring our dog to Emery any time we needed a sitter!

She has been a very unsafe dog sitter. Her kid let a dog out and it got hit by a car.

Emery is fantastic! Professional, conscientious, helpful. She had been my go-to dig and house sitter for years!
