Because of poor care, my sister in law and her fiancée’s dog had to have her paw amputated! For a torn nail, you should take proper care. While my sister in-law and her fiancée are terrified for their baby, this Pet Hospital did nothing for them! Now their poor fur baby might not have a paw at all. She was lucky to come out of surgery with one toe. This is a disgrace

They don't seem to be super personable or friendly and don't like to chat. I may have just gotten a few outliers since some people on the phone seem way more friendly and interested in helping. They take care of my animals and are reasonably priced! But I don't like how I have to drop off my cat at 8 am and then pick up at a seemingly random time (last time it was around 130) I would recommend a private practice over this one.

They are always super nice and respectful and great with my doggies :-) and their prices aren't too shabby either!

We took our oldest cat here a year ago because he was losing weight. The doc said it's because he is older and as long as he doesn't lose any more weight, he's ok. She said his kidney count is a little high, but not a big deal. We recently took him in because something was wrong and he lost a little weight. We found out he had sever kidney failure and were told to switch to prescription food. We had to put down a week later as he declined rapidly. Why was he not prescribed prescription kidney diet a year ago? Would he still be alive? Besides the vet we saw had no empathy for animals, or humans, I just can't take the risk going here again.

Banfield is professional and wonderful to work with. The new vet, Dr. Kava goes above and beyond for our furry friends. She listens and truly cares about her clients!

Alexa was very friendly and helpful. She explained how the visit was going to go for my dog, Minnie. She helped me understand the different plans available. The Vet Dr. Wall came out and explained how the visit went and answered my question and made me feel good about Minnie being in good health. Thank you for taking care of Minnie.

No greeting at the door and the place only had cats, which me personally I found weird. No real dogs, no other real animals. Prices we're high as well.

We've been bringing our cats here for well over a decade, but only once did we ever have a single problem. They've had staff changes over the years, both among the vet techs and the veterinarians, but not one that we've encountered had anything but a great attitude and obvious care for our fur babies. The problem we had was several years ago, so it's very likely that the tech(s) responsible are no longer working there. One of our cats was semi-feral when we rescued her, and she scared them even after we'd had her awhile. I think it's because of that fear that, after a dental cleaning and while she was coming out of the anesthesia, they allowed her to remain in her own feces when she pooped in her cat carrier. They didn't clean her up at all, and didn't tell us about it, so we ended up having to bathe her thoroughly when we got home. It was extremely traumatizing for her, and got me a fair shave of gashes. I don't blame her, and I understand they were scared of her, but it really was something I would've expected them to take care of, or at the very least warn us about. This is the absolute only thing that was ever even remotely problematic, and their staff is surely different by now, so even with that incident, we still highly recommend Banfield Apple Glen - at least as far as cat care goes. We can't speak for any other types of pets, but from what we've witnessed all this time, they'd likely be just as consistently great.

I had just moved to Fort Wayne and my cat needed to see a vet for a terrible skin issue. I went in expecting a regular appointment. Banfield did not inform me that I would have to drop my cat off and leave her for multiple hours. They also did not review her previous records that u had sent over from her old vet. This ultimately led to misdiagnosis; treatment for which cost me well over $300 with no positive results. They also did not ask for any history or background on my cat and I never even got to speak to the actual doctor. Everything was explained to be through a nurse. Very poor service and a waste of money.

Not very transparent about pricing. I ended up paying almost 300 to have my male cat neutered, not including what I had already spent on shots. I was quoted much less originally. I will not be taking any of my other animals here. They will tell you one thing, and end up charging double by the time they add everything else on.

Got a very misleading quote on a spay for a puppy. The surgery was 54, but the anesthesia was extra. Hmmm...
