We were looking for Beta fish and they only had two, but the two they had were beautiful and looked healthy! The salesman helped us secure the fish tank with plastic wrap over the top so it didn't spill on our drive home, which we really appreciated. Thanks!

I went to purchase the Yorkie for my daughter's birthday. Ask the sales rep about the pup and she said she thinks the price was $3,900, said she would find out the actual price for me, walked away and never returned. Thanks for nothing. Worst customer service ever.

I got a siamese cat and a few mice from them. While I love my cat, I don't recommend getting an animal from this place as my cat had many medical problems from the start and was very skittish and afraid of everything. It took a long time to get him to where he is and he still has a lot of anxiety a year and a half later. As well as I dont recommend getting mice as pets from here as the ones I got from here has died a few months, weeks after getting them from tumors.

You don’t put expensive fish that you’re trying to sell in with feeder fish that carry tons of diseases even beginners would know this

I watched the employees clean the windows of the dogs cages. They sprayed windex directly into the cage and over the animals. Two of the dogs began to sneeze profusely. It actually made me sick to watch.

BUYER BEWARE!! HEARTLAND PETS has Chihuahua puppies for sale now for $4,000 and bred at a PUPPY MILL!!! Breeder is Jo Ann Nelson, PUPPY MILL Apx. 250 ADULT DOGS & 80 pups from Soldiger, Kansas. This is 1 of 4 puppy mills where HEARTLAND PETS buys their pups. Very Sad!! There is a website to look up stores how buy their pets from puppy mills. I will try to attach it later.

Happy with my experience. I bought a puppy from here a while ago and she's been lovely. I see a lot of people complaining about the prices and want to point out that you can haggle prices here, at least under the circumstances that I bought my pup under. I'd seen her in passing for quite a while and then they finally put up a sign that said she was on sale. So I asked about the sale price, which was still way over my budget, and then I told them what price I'd been expecting. I just meant it as chit chat, it wasn't even close to what they'd asked, but the lady went over to the owner who was there at the time and got the ok for me to buy her at that price. It was still a couple thousand plus, but reasonable for other dogs I've seen on line and honestly she was worth the price.

It’s not what it use to be. We bought 2 dogs and absolutely had a great experience! Those pets are in good hands!

The pets are great the staff is friendly and knowledgeable I'm not a fan of the cages they keep the animals in. They are spotless the animals you can tell are well cared for but I personally think the cages are way to small for the dogs. Great selection of any pet.product you can think of.

I saw a puppy with it's ear rotting, and a golden retriever that was sickly skinny. Don't buy pets here, they sadly usually have health issues.

Does anyone know what they do with the puppies that don’t sell????I wish I could support and save one of the pups but the prices are ridiculous. 5000 for a havanese….

Completely unethical. Known for forgetting about animals until they pass from neglect. All very hush hush. If you choose to buy from here, instead of adopting, you deserve whatever sick, expensive pet you get.

Staff seems pretty nice. Just hate the fact they buy from puppy Mills and then charge a ton for those animals. Also heard a lot of questionable stories about how the animals are cared for.

If you hate animals, go ahead and shop here. The information about this place is very public. Do some research before going here.

I don't like that this place works with puppy mills to get their puppies and they charge a lot more for a puppy than what some breeders can charge!!

We stopped at this location a few days ago and fell completely in love with our newly adopted Pomsky????. The staff was super friendly and courteous. I have been a retail Manager for 14 years and I just have to give a shout out to the girl who initially helped us the 1st day we meet our new fur child she had brown hair also works at bath and body and the girl with blonde hair they were both so sweet and helpful. Also HUGE shout out to Jim the store was insanely busy and he finalized our adoption the last 30 mins before close while handling a very busy store and answering my many questions. Kudos Jim your multi-tasking was on point.✌???? -TM

Great place to buy a puppy prices are very high other than that the manager is wonderful very helpful just need to lower prices so people can afford the puppies that's the only thing I feel is holding people back from buying the animals

Bought an awesome little reptile here. Bought crickets here. Third batch of crickets died the day after purchase. My little pet died the next day. Was just past the "warranty ". They said, "too bad, must have been a bad batch." No refund. I'm out over two hundred bucks and my kids are crying. Also, could have bought my pet way cheaper at a big box store . Stay away from this place.

I bought my Goldendoodle from here and I received a lot of criticism from people for doing that but these animals need homes too. I’m happy with my pup and he’s the best thing that’s happened to our family. Such a happy bundle of positive energy. He sleeps in his crate at night next to my daughter’s bed. He’s smart and was housebroken in three weeks and the people at Heartland took their time to explain to us how to crate train our pup. I’m going back today to buy my pup a companion. BTW: my vet said our pup is in great health. Oh and we did adopt from a local shelter and that dog who was picked up as a stray turned mean. Attacked my daughter and I multiple times and attacked our maintenance man and had to be returned to the shelter we bought him from. Spent over $2500 on the shelter dog because he attacked a Great Dane and ended up with injuries and had to be hospitalized. We were looking around to many breeders but had no idea which breed of dog would be best for us. If it weren’t for Heartland who was patient with us on our multiple trips out and explaining things to us, we would have never found Abe, our Goldendoodle. UPDATE: I went back after buying Abraham and bought a Siberian Husky named Max and they both are such a joy to mine and my daughter’s lives. They’re 2 now, healthy and doing very well. Best decision we made.
