I brought my cat in for a visit. He had to stay overnight for them to get a urine sample. I never recieved a call the following day to come and get him, I had to call them. Then I find out that he brought fleas home with him, we haven't had fleas in the house in years. I requested to buy revolution for the other 2 cats in my house and was denied. I've always been able to buy more revolution over the counter at a vet. Now my house is going to have a flea infestation and I cannot afford to bring both of my other cats in to be checked and treated. On a side note, the nurses were all nice to me and finn. The doctor wasn't as nice and friendly however, I felt like I was being judged on how I take care of my pets. After the visit and the treatment for earmites and a UTI, the total was almost $200! I've never had to pay that much at a vet before, even to get my other cats neutered. I don't think I'll be coming back here. Maybe they are nicer to dogs, but I did not get the treatment that I was expecting. Cheaper vets have given me better service. Too bad they all closed down.

We used Murray Ridge Animal Clinic when we had dogs in my late teens really twenties. I was excited to use them again with my own family's new pup. The first time I called concerned about her BMs and the girl who answered the phone seemed annoyed that I was calling and was not friendly. Our first appointment was fine the assistant was very sweet and doctor was nice but seemed rushed. As a new puppy owner ( last time I had a puppy was 15 years prior) I had questions and wanted to be certain we were doing things right. When I went to schedule the next appointment the girl seemed inconvenienced and again not friendly. The doctor said the next visit she would give us another puppy pack with the meds at needed for that month. Well the next appointment was not scheduled with the doctor but with a tech so I wasn't able to go in and didn't get a puppy pack. No mention after the appointment of any other appointments. My mom has our pups brother and sister and after hearing that she had another appointment for them I called to follow up. The lady on the phone was kind and tried to be helpful but didn't know for sure what our next steps are. I was surprised that there was not just a standard vax and check up routine like I have had with my children. She was able to find information and called back the next day to schedule. When I asked about heartworm needs and the puppy pack I was told I couldn't get that since we didn't see the actual vet. When I asked what I should do I wad told I could order it and they would approve the order from chewy. I ordered meds and then they called the next day and said they wouldn't approve it because my dog might weigh more in 6 months. No offer of a solution. Then when I was short with her and asked how I was supposed to get heartworm meds I was told they sell it for the month and I could come get it from them or find a different one with wider weight range. I was able to find a different brand and they did approve it but I literally talked to them everyday that week and felt like much of this should have been taken care of at the appointment. They need better customer service and caring people to help direct pet owners

This group of people. stand out in their field!! I've been to many vets in my lifetime. They BY FAR are the BEST!!!. The whole staff is OUTSTANDING!! This place is super busy all the time for a reason,,,, THEY ARE THE BEST. The Dr's (vets) are great and the techs are the best I have ever encountered. What else can I say . THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST IN LORAIN COUNTY. LOVE THEM!!!

Murray Ridge Animal Clinic has been our primary vet clinic for the past several years. We have always had a good experience with them, until today. Our dog developed an ear infection which if left unattended, quickly becomes serious. Murray Ridge has treated her quickly in the past due to this. I left a message this morning, before they opened, so I could get her in. They didn't call so I called them in the afternoon. They apologized for not getting back to me. I explained situation and they said they couldn't see her till next week. Normally that would work for a physical, etc, but not soon to be severe ear infection. They responded in that they only have one vet available. I know there is a worker shortage but I am sorry, this is ridiculous. Called another vet and our dog will be seen.

Found Cathy to be rude. After making earliest appt 3 weeks out, I mentioned appt reminder texts and emails only to be told they don't do those anymore. Called back that afternoon to request earlier appt because I had to kennel my dogs. Was give ONE day closer. I asked if that was the closest possible I could get and was rudely told that they have "emergencies" coming in. How do they know 3 weeks out that emergencies will be coming in? I switched my dogs to a new clinic and they had their shots within a week of transfer. I received a call from Murray Ridge on the old appt date rudely telling me I missed my appt with my dogs. I told her I switched vets. She told me I still should have called and cancelled the appointment. Uh, what part of transferring my files to a new clinic led you to believe I was KEEPING the appointment? If you had sent an appointment reminder, I would have called!

Dr. Theresa is amazing! She is the kindest woman who takes her time to really help our pets and even us as owners. She never pushes for unnecessary tests(extra money) and really does try to keep it affordable. She is the only person I want working on my pets and I make sure to request her everytime. We had a different vet there one time and did not care for her. Theresa comes across as a friend and not a business owner.

Had a very nice experience yesterday as we had a tragic day. It's never easy letting a pet go as they have a huge part of your heart. The staff was so kind and explained everything step so we could understand what was next and they took real good care of our pet up till the end. Will definitely check them out for other services for my pets.

They are in Covid mode, which is fine with me. Usually, we wait for 45 minutes but now it's 15 minutes. Actually, very nice, kind animal lovers. If you're new or looking for a new vet, you should consider this practice.

Covid protocol still in place, so my dog was taken in for his appointment & the vet called me as I waited in the car. Reasonably priced.

Understaffed, never have availability, told me that my dog that needed to be euthanized could not have an appointment for a week out, called another vet and was instantly seen for the circumstance with no questions. They tried to pawn me off to an emergency vet on a weekday.
