Finally found a vet I'm comfortable with. Dr. Speck spent time with my dog and gave her a thorough first visit exam and asked questions about her. He took the time to get to know his new patient.

They are very patient and professional with my not-so friendly cat who would prefer not to be picked up and/or held. My daughter takes her cats and dog to Fox Vet for check ups, shots, emergencies, etc. Neither one of us has left disappointed.

Edit: I see that they responded. While I haven't had a cat back there since 2019 they did see me in 2020. So nice try making it sound like I haven't been there in years. I'm writing the review now because I was alerted to other issues people have been having with this vet and this just adds to the shadiness I was already feeling from Fox. ---------- Our family has been going to Fox Vet for many years. If you need a vet that can handle your basic office visits/shots then they're fine. If you need a vet that can help figure out what's going on with your pets then I suggest you go somewhere else. After using them for nearly 13 years I've switched to a new vet to try to get better answers regarding my pet's health. My pets are my family and they cannot talk to me and tell me what's wrong with them so when there's an issue I expect my vet to help me through figuring out the best courses of action. I started losing trust when I brought a new cat in after adopting him to make sure he was healthy to bring into my home with my other animals and they barely looked at him and told me "looks like a cat". Since then it's only been downhill. When you've lost trust in your vet's ability to help it's time for a new vet.

Even though it was our first appointment and it was curbside they were very nice. From the moment I made the appointment until the end of the actual appointment, very nice people.

Edit: My original review below was true when Dr. Fox was still around, but I have to retract my statement and say that I absolutely am taking my pets somewhere else. Note that I am the 3rd generation taking my pets to Fox, so my family has been very long term patients. It's a night and day experience. A few years back when my cat was sick, I was able to come right up and Fox quickly saw her, got some medicine in her, even clipped her nails, and we were on our way to recovery. Today, that would never happen. We took our dog in for her regular check up and the vet noticed that there were some dry spots on her thighs. In the following days, they've developed into sores. When we called, they didn't even suggest we bring her back in. We were told to try and clip the fur in the area on our own, and find some over the counter product from a pet store. We did ask if we could bring her in to be clipped since she's in pain and won't let us touch it, and they couldn't really find any time for us. We tried the over the counter product, and it's still getting worse. Today, we are extremely worried, and they still couldn't tell us when they could get her in. We got right into another vet, and we won't be going back. We absolutely loved Dr. Fox, and it's a shame to see how his practice is going now. Original review: The veterinarians here are some of the best. Your pets are in good hands here. I'd never take mine anywhere else.

We just took our new puppy here and the service was awesome! From our first telephone call to schedule all the way to the appointment , they were professional and super friendly! We were super nervous and didn't know what to expect but they answered all of our questions and patiently listened to all of our concerns. Would highly recommend and and we plan on our pup being a long-time patient. I also appreciate their efforts to keep everyone safe during the pandemic.

I LOVE this place. I have been going here for years. Most recently, for my cat who has lost my weight, explained, Dr. Speck has been with us since the first appointment. I could go on for days about how great this place is, but all I have to say is, my cat purrs when we're there. She is fully relaxed and comfortable. What cat had confidence at a vet's office? One that is confident in her care. The entire staff is amazing. They're empathetic, kind, informative, and knowledgeable. Awesome place. 10 stars!
