Evergreen Veterinary Hospital Dayton, Ohio

This is the best most wonderful vet in the area! I have been to many vets trying to find the right one to take my cats to and they have been so kind and supportive. Recently my cat got very sick and I was so worried but the doctors at Evergreen Vet, especially Dr. Burris, caught it just in time to save her life. I am so thankful to them!! I feel like they care about my pets a lot which makes taking them here so special. I highly recommend bringing your pets here!

There are several vets in my area and I will always recommend Evergreen. I have taken both of my two cats, Noodles and Seki, here multiple times and every time they are extremely nice and caring. They write you hand written notes about your pet, and always explain in detail everything before during and after. Anytime we've had an issue we were able to get seen the same day. They are wonderful!

Dr. Burris and the entire staff was incredibly compassionate and helpful with our sick cat. She went above and beyond to help us get him into a hosptial for further diagnosis. She called us on her day off to check up on him and was ok with us calling any time to get her opinion on his health. After his passing we received a handwritten card of condolences from the Dr. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

Dr Grant and the other vets and staff are highly knowledgeable and work hard to help animals and their owners. They get to know your pet personally

Took time to educate me on other alternatives to my pets issues. Finally have a flea medicine for my old dog!

UPDATE: They also sent us a handwritten sympathy card, which was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated! Most thoughtful, caring veterinarian we have ever experienced! ORIGINAL REVIEW: We had an elderly hedgehog (Miss Prickles), who over the weekend, lost the ability to walk or stand. We called several vet's, and they either didn't specialize in exotics, or could not get her in. Evergreen was able to see her the same day, and helped me with humanely terminating her life. Dr. Alina Osowski, was extremely compassionate and thorough when explaining the process. Those who have owned a hedgehog, understand how deeply attached you become, but others might not understand why it is such a painful loss. However, she was deeply empathetic and I truly appreciated it! Our spikey little friend is now in animal heaven, and no longer suffering. Thank You!

Love how much personal attention the give our pets. Appointments run on time. They have effective and efficient Covid safety procedures in place. They are reasonably priced.

Highly recommended. When we needed a new small animal vet for our rats, Evergreen was able to get us in very quickly. Very friendly service, reasonable fees, and great communication (email discussion regarding a chronic condition). Also willing to consult with specialists for trickier species specific issues. Additionally, when we have needed to have pets put to sleep, the care we got during those procedures really was phenomenal.

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Very good to whatever furry (or non furry) friend you bring in. Our dog actually ENJOYS going here! Flexible and easy scheduling as well. Highly recommend!

Evergreen Veterinary Hospital is the BEST IN TOWN. Been with Kathy Grant for over 30 yrs. Just added a new pup to the crew & she will take care of her like the others. THE VISIT WAS AWESOME, Of course its different cuz of Covid but the Staff is great...... They r a 7 star in my book....

If you want a great vet you can trust go here!! I've been with Dr. Grant since before she opened this practice. We have seen her for all our dogs and cat needs. The other vets in her practice are excellent as well! They truly care about your pets! Unfortunately, we've lost pets over the years and they offer sever burial options and paw prints can be made. We decided condolence cards in the mail and that really touched our hearts. They are responsibly priced and also have separate dog and cat doors to enter from the outside so everyone gets along! 10 thumbs up!!!!

Nice and caring vets and techs. They go above and beyond to answer questions and care for pets.

It pains my heart that I have to share this review under these circumstances as we only visited the hospital because our dear cat was incredibly sick. To start, they were the only hospital in the area that would make time to see my family & cat at a late hour when they were getting ready to close for the weekend. I called several other locations including our normal vet and all of them would only be able to see our cat the following morning or on Monday, which wasn't going to work with how sick he was. Once we got there, the staff was incredibly respectful & kind to us as we went into the room and started to figure out what we could do. The vet we met with was Dr. Alina, and it's no understatement to say that she was absolutely perfect. It was ultimately decided that we would have to put our dear cat down that night. She took the time to explain to us all of the options we had and what each one was likely to do to our little furry family member. Suffice it to say, none of the options were really going to work for him. Dr. Alina was gentle, considerate, kind & immensely respectful of the process we were going through with letting our family member go. Once everything was done (and we had finished bawling our eyes out), we went home. A few days later, we received a handwritten letter from Dr. Alina regarding our visit and how sad she was we had to meet under those circumstances. I was beyond impressed with the level of service this vet hospital provided. I've been to many vets over the years and Evergreen easily has the best service of them all. I highly recommend Evergreen to anyone who is looking for someone to put your animal babies first, and help you find the best option for treatment with them. Evergreen will listen carefully & act decisively when needed. Thank you for everything you do to take care of our family members, and thank you for a wonderful experience in an incredibly sad time for me & my family.

Very compassionate and do a great job educating pet owners.

The staff and veterinarians were extremely friendly and thorough. It is obvious that they care about the animals. I am happy to have a great vet to take our pup to.

We took our bunny here for a checkup, they took good care of her, were very caring.

Dr. Burris was great, treated our Border Collie Lab mix named Thumper as if she was very own dog! She explained her process of examining her for general health & was clear in presenting her findings! Lorrie was very good with Thumper as well!

I love this place! The people who work there are kind, interested in your pet and efficient. I take my Schnauzer, Teddy to Dr. O and she is wonderful! Very smart, attentive and caring. Great bed side manner and Teddy does very well with her. I live my dog (and two cats too!) and I will not go anywhere else!

They were very nice to take my rabbit the same day and were very kind and informative. I will take all my pets there in the future.

The Dr and staff were extremely kind and helpful. Definitely A+
