Our dog ate a squeaker that got stuck in his small intestines and they took him in overnight immediately. The next morning they called to inform us that they had made the decision to perform surgery. They were professional, kind, and informative-answering all our questions and making sure we knew the best way to help our pup heal.

Do not board your cats here. During my appointment last week they mentioned that they offer cat boarding, so I asked to see and it was concerning.. First the cages they stay in are surgery cages so they are not big at all, the cats all looked traumatized, and they had DOGS in there! I could not believe it. I asked the girl why and she said they sometimes have to put surgery dogs in with the cats due to an over flow of dogs and not enough kennels for them. I don’t understand why they would schedule so many dog surgeries knowing they don’t have enough room? There is no excuse for what they allow, and I know that if those were my cats boarding I would be furious to see them in the condition they were in. If they advertised photos of what they call “cat boarding” people would NOT board there. Disappointed to say the least Vca dublin.

VCA sawmill has taken care of all of my dogs for the last 8 years one of the things that I really noticed that was really impressive here recently when my dog had some problems I noticed not just the one vet but there were several vets that that give their opinion on what to do so they all work together as one which is fantastic

I came here to get my cat's teeth cleaned and possibly pulled. They were so caring and concerned for her health! They updated me about their plan for her teeth, every step of the way. They took care of her and they took care of me too!

Patients for 6 years with our dog. Great service and friendly staff. They talk through options on procedures and explain what’s needed versus recommended. They offered us a range of options and prices when we needed to bring him in for a surgery without any pressure to do or spend more than we wanted. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic service! My old-man-dog (about 12 years old at time of this writing) went in for a bad limp and we found that he had blown out his knee. Beyond that, the doctor did a quick exam and heard a heart murmur! So we got him on medication for both his knee and his heart. They worked with us to find the least expensive source for the meds and even got them shipped to us! This all happened about mid-October, and what really showed that they care was the follow-up call less than a month later. They were worried that, due to the holiday delays, our meds refill might not get to us before we ran out and we would have to spend more for an emergency refill. We were fine as we still had plenty of pills, but just to be safe we got the refill submitted. Thank you so much to the VCA team for their concern and the follow-up call! It was heartwarming to know that they cared enough for the follow-up as well as being sure to work with us to make sure our old pup would be as healthy and happy as he can be!

Our dog Pharoh had a golf ball sized bump under his right paw. Dr Beckett helped take care of another one of our dogs & so we brought Pharoh in for care. Dr Beckett properly diagnosed what it was but still sent the mass off for identification from a pathologist. Less then a week after bringing Pharoh in, we brought him back for his surgery. Dr Beckett removed the mass and while under for the surgery, we also had Pharohs dental work done. Pharoh is 10y/o & seems much happier with the mass gone. He is running faster and much more then before the surgery and playing in the backyard with our other dogs. He seems extremely grateful to finally have the mass removed. His surgical site is healing nicely and looks amazing. During his post op treatment, he had 2 bandage changes and his stitches removed all by different vets/techs and they all cared for Pharoh and attended to his needs as if he was theirs. Dr Beckett and the staff at VCA Sawmill are the best I've ever had care for our dogs and I highly recommend them to anybody who loves their animals as if they are their kids. Thank you to Dr Beckett and the other amazing vets/techs who helped care for Pharoh.

Love, love ,LOVE all the care and amazing people here. Only place I'll bring my babies they're always good with my 6 dogs and my mom brings her 3 dogs here too. They're not just out for money, they really care about your babies and I love and appreciate that <3

My cat needed to have quite a few teeth pulled they were able to get me scheduled in a timely manner and the price was well worth it. Also when I picked her up (my cat) the lady that brought her out to me was super nice and made sure I understood all of the after care instructions before we left. I definitely will recommend VCA to family and friends. Thanks so much for taking care of my girl, she was in alot of pain.

Yet again another expensive visit to VCA just for them to fail. Went in on august 4th for every shot/vaccine needed for boarding, but low and behold i get to the boarding company just to get turned away. To make things better, the vague “review” tag lead the boarding company to call and get a verbal confirmation from VCA, but unfortunately they just confirmed their lack of due diligence. When they tell the boarding company theres plenty of appointments and to have me call in, i call in just to constantly get put to voicemail. Strange, considering the boarding company had not even 5 minutes prior got immediately through. So here i am, trying to leave on vacation without a way to board my dog. Thank you VCA! Update! They finally call back and im honestly shocked at how patronizing Dr. Bryce can be while she passively points the blame to my fiancé and I. We stated we didnt know what boarding company we would go with at the time, so we requested anything that might be necessary, which includes the influenza vaccine, ONE THEY EVEN REQUIRED AT THEIR OWN BOARDING WE STATED WE WERE CONSIDERING USING. Dr. Bryce was not willing to take accountability when she called, and its sad that the customer can be blamed for lack of notes by VCA. Hundreds of dollars spent here and hundreds of dollars more was scheduled, but thats canceled and im on to a professional vet, one who ruins vacation/ pto then blames the customer for their own lack of quality work.

I have been taking my dogs here for years and I would not change it. From routine care to my lab needing ACL repair surgery, they do it all and I trust them with my pets lives! Very understanding, trusting, reliable people! It does cost a bit more than other places, but to me, it is completely worth it and I do not feel like I am being ripped off. HIGHLY recommend.

They made time to see my grandcat. We didn't have an appointment. We just showed up. They were polite, courtesy, very knowledgeable, explained everything in great detail & answered all my questions. Even the ones I asked twice ( yes, I was nervous, as any grand would be in this situation). I had to go back the next day because trying to get a cat to take medicine in a syringe in it's mouth is not as easy as they made it seem. They were nice enough to show me a different technique & ( again ) answer all my questions that I forgot to ask the day before. If Sophie has anymore emergencies we will head back there with the quicks for sure. I'd like to send a "THANK YOU " to the entire staff there.

At the last minute, chose to board my German Shepherd for 9 days to go on vacation. Everything was handled with a friendly attitude while answering all of my questions. I had not boarded for years so I was a bit apprehensive leaving my dog, but there was peace of mind knowing they are a vet clinic and could handle anything in the event something went wrong. Fortunately nothing happened. I would have given 5 stars but I was unable to see the interior for myself due to covid restrictions. The parking lot is brand new so that was nice and their intake is streamlined from your vehicle. The other reason for 4 stars was that I was told I would receive a daily pic of Sasha and only received 4 out of several days worth. It made me wonder how she was doing and a bit nervous. Plus my kids started asking to see more photos and it disapointed them a lot to not see her daily pic. I will say I had also paid extra for walks, which one of the pics did show, so that was nice to see. When I picked her up she was happy and healthy so I'm assuming she enjoyed her stay.

This veterinary hospital and their staff has been wonderful! My cats were in for their annual appointments today and while they were definitely grumpy, everyone treated them so kindly and gently. Our veterinary assistant, Ryan was awesome and so helpful. Dr. Middlebrooks was equally kind, knowledgeable, and clearly had my cats’ best interests in mind. Everyone “behind-the-scenes” that I didn’t get to meet helped to make our visit went smoothly as possible. Every time we’re there they take great care of our pets.

The team at VCA is the most knowledgeable and kind vet-team I've ever worked with. From routine checkups, to saying goodbye to out Shadow Cat and helping us process our insurance paperwork everyone here is committed to you and your fur-pal.

I started with this vet in 2018 when I moved to Columbus. I had 2 senior dogs one who developed many conditions. I would call in and our vet would have no idea what medications my dog was on even though I was continually getting refills called in signed by the vet, I don’t believe I was adequately educated on my dogs condition(s) and after I boarded my dogs there for my wedding and they both developed kennel cough- my oldest dog was the second to develop symptoms and they had no interest in seeing her. They just prescribed the same medications even with her history of heart problems and tracheal collapse. Vca told me to put my dog down in 2020 after developing ITP and Medvet saved her life and gave me another year with her. Then vca almost robbed me of a peaceful goodbye as she could’ve died a traumatic death at home had I not taken her to Medvet and they told me kennel cough in a dog with tracheal collapse can be fatal. I’ve transferred all my care from here and recommended my friends do the same. My new vet staff all seem to genuinely enjoy their job and care about the animals in their care and are patient and knowledgeable in explaining your animals health to you.

VCA is the best veterinarian office I have ever taken my cats to. They're kind, responsive and always check up on the animals after we have a visit. I took my cat in at 7:30am last week after an emergency and they make room for me immediately without question. The techs are so friendly and I always enjoy talking with them. I trust VCA completely with the care of my animals.
