They sold me the flea med frontline when no one else would without checking my cat's health,for cash.

It's a good vet practice with loving staff, but Dr. Jarden made it great. Personal touch, for me and my service dog, has gone down a bit since her departure. I know it's a business and sales help make up for 2020 madness, but talking about my dog and not getting OTC or prescription substitutes automatically is pushing me away. I do love Dr. Maul but rarely get to see her, she is practice owner. My daughter also uses this vet and we are both getting tired of medicine tryouts for a common problem. I wanted a cost of a product to compare with store and online cost. They brought an upgraded product that had an ingredient I already was adding. They said it's less than $5more and better for my girl, so I figured when my supply ran out I could use it. Nope, I was updated to the tune of $8.00 more than regular and regular is $4 more than I can get online. It's because new vet didn't know history of my dog, or the type of owner I am (I had more years caring for dogs than she had been alive) but I understand they Gotta start somewhere. This was a $12 lesson. They are NOT a bad vet, just different than before. I'll give them a few more tries if I can see owner. I need a vet that trusts I know my dog as much as I trust their knowledge of medicine. Try them out, they are loved by many, especially if you don't know much about dog physiology.

Got a new kitten and within 12 hours she was coughing/sneezing and had yellow eye discharge. I called here as soon as they opened and they were able and very willing to get her in ASAP (I was lucky since they had a morning appointment). I’ve been to other vets with my other cat but Suburban Animal Clinic is awesome! The staff is so friendly and if you ever have any questions, they’re very responsive. Super personable and I can tell they truly care about my cat’s well-being. But they also care about the client too and are great at easing my mind. This will now be my primary vet for both cats! Thanks for taking care of Matcha!

While the staff was understanding and knowledgeable about my dogs condition I am giving the slightly lower rating as I saw a staff member in her car smoking. While medical marijuana is legal with proper approval, I just don't think it should be done on company property.

My dog has been generally very fear aggressive while attending a vet office. Not here! the vet techs love him and he always comes out with a smile on his face. They are gentle, caring, and definitely qualified!

Very helpful and polite staff who also willingly help me with my dogs tho I am handicapped. But price for annual shots for one dog amounted to almost $200!

Very expensive!!! It's hard because you can't go in there with your animals, then when she's telling you the things of the phone you're not understanding that it's not all mandatory and then you get sent home with prescriptions that are unnecessary and you can't return them. I probably got sent home with about $80 worth of unnecessary things. I explained to her that my cats are very picky they don't like additives in their food and she told me that this thing she was sending me home with was quite delectable and they crave it, my cat hasn't touched her food and it cost me $50. It's just hard cuz I want the best for my animals and I don't make very much money and I kind of feel like I got a little bit thinking advantage of.... They did take very good care of her and did their job and we're very kind... I just know that if I do take my cat back there again to be very careful when it comes to the billing and to be very specific on what I need done. Don't get me wrong if I had money to just throw around, they're great, but I can barely afford to put food on my table...so $300 to take one cat in to get dewormed and her ears cleaned was quite a bit to me. And I just wanted the best for my cat so when she suggesting things over the phone, of course I'm not going to disagree because I feel like they know what's best and then I come home and it's basically $80 worth of things that I'm never going to be able to use nor have a need for. Long story short, the services were fair on the price, I expected it to be about $200, but when it comes to the things that they want to send home with you, just be cautious if you don't have money to just throw around...

Service and care is a 5. Had to give a 4 as they don't let you in with pet due to COVID but even before that, they take them back for weight and blood draw out of your site. Most vets to they while your in room. Dropped a star for that

And after the check up they gave me a call about the status of my pet and what was done on her. After that it proceeds to check out and pay the bill. Then they gave Pepper back in the car with some of her medicines. Awesome team! Thank you so much! ❤️

7/12/2020 •Dr. Forte and staff are wonderful people and you can tell they care about their patients and clients. It's a big change from another veterinarian we had when we lived in another state, who left us with more questions than answers and often did the bare minimum to provide comfort and care for our pets. • I also like the messages on the letter board out front. People who are happy make others happy, and that board is fun to look at when we pass by. It shows you enjoy what you do. •They also enforce face mask rules here and I am greatly relieved by that as well. I'm glad you all are doing what you can to help keep everyone safe during the pandemic. Thank you.

I will continue going to this vet clinic. Whenever I've gone, I've felt like they have truly cared and that I wasn't just a number. My Rusty was put down yesterday as he was 15 and declining in his overall health and not enjoying life like he used to. Dr. Forte and the other individual (I'm so sorry but I can't remember her name) truly made me and my loved ones feel at ease with Rusty's passing. It was very emotional and they were so professional yet showed compassion, it made the experience much better during this hard time. Thank you so much as I can remember Rusty leaving so peacefully in great hands.

Took one of my fur kids to be treated for fleas...everyone was so kind and didn't laugh at her hair cut...the techs listened as I explained the routes I'd taken and what options were left...the vet was just as attentive and thoroughly explained treatment....gonna be our primary vet now
