We brought our cat here for what turned out to be kidney failure. We had to put her down. I can't express my feelings adequately for how well we were treated. We were called just before 8 pm and given the bad news. The Dr. and a member of staff were at the office and asked us if we'd like to be there, giving us time to get to the office. Needless to say, it was very emotional. The Red Maples team were compassionate, caring and we didn't feel rushed, even that late in the evening. A big thank you too the Red Maples Team!

The doctors took very good care of my dog and I will have no second thoughts of returning again. I have no problem with trusting the people at Red Maples with my best buddy.

Always very kind and care about the pets. My poor Lucifer passed a few months ago, and they sent me flowers and a card talking about how much they loved having him. Would recommend to any pet owner.

Originally, I would have given this vet five stars. Dr Burns had given our dogs great care for 4 years. However, at some point new techs began being hired and even after demonstrating that our dogs had basic commands for going through their examination, they insisted on holding them down. This of course led to them being extremely uncomfortable with the vet. This, along with the fact that we no longer lived in the area, caused us to move on but we generally had left on a good note. Fast forward to a few years later and a friend was trying to find a vet in the area for a fair price and we recommend them. After going there for some time, she asked them to check her dogs shoulders and wanted them sent to OFA. She was not given the X-ray at the end of the day until the tech took screen shots of the X-ray. THERE WERE HUMAN HANDS IN THE IMAGE! This is completely unacceptable, and unsafe! These X-rays will likely not be accepted for OFA evaluation at all. The vet called and still insisted on charging her, even with the HANDS IN THE IMAGE. They reported him (the dog) to have injures he never had. After reviewing some of the records from Red Maples on our own pups, we also found inconsistencies in the conditions they had with what is reported in their files. DO NOT GO HERE. This vet clinic is endangering both their patients and employees.

Everyone here is outstanding. I've been here 3 times in one week for non-major but still slightly stressful needs for my two dogs and have had the best experiences. The whole staff is so smart, kind, patient, and accommodating. So grateful to have them helping me care for my two pups.

Terrible. Pushed unnecessary testing on my 16 year old dog. Charged a fortune. Just wanted money. Didn’t consider the quality of my dogs life. They did a full physical , blood work but failed to inform us he was blind. Awful experience. Gave him only ten tables for his chronic arthritis. Wanted to charge us for another visit to get more. Please if you love your dog don’t go there We went to Bexley Animal hospital. It was light day and night Hope this helps

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PET. DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE. The place is filthy. The wait to see a doctor is unbearable. The doctors are awful. They never answer their phone. Worst customer service. It’s almost a sin to take your pet here.

There are no words to describe how incredible Dr. Burns & her staff are. They easily become family. Dr. Burns has treated all 4 of the dogs we've rescued, from new pet visit to the passing of 2 beloved dogs. With a lifetime of happiness, sadness, & the gamut of medical treatment (3 ACL tears, blindness, seizures, hypothyroidism, infections, allergies, & false alarms from high- maintenance parents) she was always there. And we always felt special. We relocated to GA last year. And honestly leaving her & her staff was one of the hardest parts of the move. We miss them greatly. So do Kili ???? & Jack ????.

Waited 30 minutes in the waiting room with not so much as a hello from staff. No acknowledgement, no explanation that the doc was running behind, nothing. Only after 30 minutes when I said “do you need my name or anything? “ was I acknowledged. Then “oh sorry we will take you back in a second.” Finally taken back and waited another 30 minutes. No one apologized for the wait or offered an explanation. This is basic customer service. I understand doctors run late and things come up. At least let me know what is going on. If I walk in at least greet me, say we are little behind, thank you for waiting or being patient etc. I love Dr Burns but I won’t be coming back. I was very upset to be there with my elderly dog a wanted an opinion on quality life issues but instead left in tears over being treated so poorly.

They can't spot a femur fracture on an x-ray. Shouldn't that be the basics? Turns out my dog needs another hip surgery. Dr. Burns said I probably don't want to go to a specialist (yes, yes I do). She just wanted to ask me over, and over, and over if I give my dog her NSAID every day. I do. I got irritated after the fourth ask and then she was done talking to me. Never even showed me what she saw on the $600 x-ray. She just prescribed more pain meds. If she is your vet, I am hope your pet never breaks a bone.
