Awful policies. Rude and would not provide me with relevant information

Caring, skilled, EXCEPTIONAL bedside manner with furred friends and their people. We lost one of our best friends and they were incredibly kind during a difficult time and did not offer treatments that would not work and were caring with our baby. With our healthy buddies they always listen to our questions and answer in full, they take a preventative approach which we love and it feels more like "the family doctor" than most vets! Nicest vets and techs we have ever met. The techs and front of house are GREAT in a very busy practice.

Update — When I got my cat back from her microchip appointment, she was wet with her own urine. Her carrier wasn’t wet, which meant she peed herself in the office. There was no apology, no explanation, just handed her back and asked for my credit card. If you have a cat, AVOID THIS PLACE I have been using this office for my cat since we got her. Recently, she’s developed some behavioral issues, so I tried calling to ask for advice from the vet. The front desk person listened to my concerns and said “well, that sounds like normal cat behavior to me” followed by “well, what would you like for us to do to help you.” Are you kidding me? It’s not normal behavior, that’s why I’m calling. I thought that was pretty clear. All they offered was a plug in pheromone for my cat. You can’t be serious. They also have communication issues. My cat does not like going to the vet, and they have complained about this to my face. When I scheduled her to get spayed, I spoke with the vet about also getting her microchipped to cut down on vet visits. They didn’t microchip her at the spay appointment. All the person said was “well, that wasn’t on the chart.” Why wasn’t it on the chart? That’s not my fault you can’t communicate and schedule things appropriately. So, now I have to take her in again, and then promptly switch vets because this place is a total joke and lacks professional staff.

Such an awesome vet. I came and had Dr. McClure check out my puppy for a second opinion when she was extremely sick. My other vet didn’t know what was wrong with her and she wasn’t getting better, to the point I was not sure my puppy would make it. Within a couple minutes Dr. McClure knew exactly what was wrong with my puppy, gave her what she needed and she was a new dog within 24 hours. Ever since then, I’ve never returned to my old vet and have kept coming here. Dr. McClure is super caring and you can tell she loves the animals she is caring for. The staff is also awesome. If I ever need anything they are willing to help me out and I never have to wait. Highly recommend this vet!

While a bit expensive, it's nice to have a vet in the neighborhood. The people are very nice and know exactly what they are doing. I felt confident and comfortable when I had to leave my cat their to be neutered and he was returned later that day.

Very warm and caring staff, and the veterinary services I've gotten from them over the years have been exemplary. I had a very old dog with very serious health issues, and had brought him in many times. In each case the staff examined the dog, discussed his issues with me, admitted what they knew and could not know, and worked out a course of action with me. My dog lived substantially longer than most dogs his size, with good quality of life until a few days before the end. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

Overall, staff are good, but I can't regret enough by letting them do nail trim for my pet, my baby is non stop bleeding for more than 8 hours and keep going, they said it will stop but It doesn't for long hours..:( I'm unfortunate to say that doing one of most basic staff seems to be to difficult for them.

We started bringing our puppy Beau to the Bexley Animal Hospital when he was 10 weeks old. He is now over 5 months old and I cannot say enough good things about this place! Beau has had some issues and they are just wonderful people here! We were so nervous coming here at first because our previous vet was so wonderful and a friend but we lost our dogs and then moved and when we got Beau that’s when we decided to make the switch. They are so kind, understanding and honest. Thank you so much for being so great and helping ease our worries about switching vets. We are so grateful for all of you!!!!

I had originally provided Bexley Animal Hospital with five stars nine months ago. Every time I have an appointment or an issue with our animals, they continuously exceed expectations. I genuinely love the care and the people that provide the care (to both pets and their humans who can't let go). They are also incredibly affordable. If you are searching for a place that is responsive, affordable, and provides excellent care, please pick Bexley Animal Hospital.

Quick action to my dog who was hit by a car . very proffesional for a terrible accident . my dog did not live .she passed before she got there .but we couldnt tell . they asked us if we like to take her home or creamation services . very reasonable price . we took her home and barried her . Dr. McClure and her exceptional staff are outstanding. My dog is the most important thing to me and Dr. McClure has earned my trust to keep her in good health. She is knowledgeable, professional, personable, deeply cares for her patients, and clearly demonstrates a passion for medicine.
