We always have a wonderful experience here. They are good to my dog and get us in timely with no long wait times. And they aren't expensive!

Coming here was truly one of the most disgusting experiences I’ve ever had in my life. I recently rescued a 6 month old kitten and he started acting very ill a day ago. This morning I took him here, after calling around and was told this was the most affordable place I could go. Dr. Durr is despicable, and showed no sympathy for me OR the kitten. I was first told it would be 1000$ to even try to save the cat at all, by just doing blood work and giving him fluids. After I told him I didn’t have that kind of money at the moment, he laughed. As he did SEVERAL times while I was there. Making me cry every time, acting as if it was my fault the kitten was ill. He then went to “see what he could do with my budget” of $400. When he came back he said there was little to no chance of the cat surviving so I needed to put him down. He was so demeaning and heartless about the whole situation. And I’m truly traumatized. Mallory, who works the front desk is also TERRIBLE and rude. These people should not be working in a job where they clearly do not care about people’s animals or them. Just about money. I’m distraught about this experience and I hope NO ONE else goes through this with them. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE.

Horrible had to cut our vacation 4 days short because they wanted to put our 15 yr old corgi down when he was being boarded because he had a trace of blood in his urine from a uti they said he was dying and he wasn't!!!!!!! He has sugar they wouldn't give him his 9 MLS of insulin because he wasn't eating well He wasn't eating because they separated Dudley our 15 yr old corgi from our 1 yr old corgi Beau and he was scared and depressed because he was alone!????not giving him his insulin could have killed him they will never go back to Bethel road animal hospital again!if 0 stars would be an option I would give them 0 stars!

This place is the worse, they are unkind, uncaring and unethical. They take advantage of their patients and family. My dog is old and we have been coming to them for years, Benji could have died without the medication, I am alone and . Instead of helping me in a bad time, they would not even help or direct me to get what he needed for just a couple days, since the ordering place they had me go through messed up, unless I paid them more money so I could get what he needed to keep him alive. Wouldn’t even help or direct me until I paid. So awful and unethical. The poor animals that go there. They don’t put them first to keep them alive!!!!

Okay in a pinch, but miss treated and had poor follow-up coordination for a major ear infection that ultimately resulted in a very expensive surgery.

Updating my once 5 star review to a 1. I don't know what has happened to this place but it has turned into a money hungry, uncaring facility. I took my dog in to fix his badly broken nail, after waiting 1.5 hours I was called back. They very roughly checked his nail and I asked if they could give him some anesthesia since they would have to completely remove his nail. The Dr. said they would give him something, however moments later I hear him yelping from the back after they ripped his nail off without anesthesia. Before leaving I was given antibiotics but no pain meds. I had to asked the Dr a few times to prescribe some type of pain medication, considering his nail was just ripped off. Thankfully she finally gave him something. All the while I can hear the staff gossiping in the back about the things I requested. Let's also mention the insane pricing update as of October 1 '21. They say COVID has made prices go up, however they took it to another level! Absolutely ridiculous, and greedy! For them to rip his nail off and give me 2 weeks of antibiotics, it was over $230. Be forewarned, and choose a different vet. This place doesn't care about your animal, only their pockets.

Stay away!!!! The worst experience I had!!!!! They are terrible with people. Dishonest with me, I asked them for the total I had to pay for all vaccines for my cat, they gave me an amount, but they asked me to pay a second time I was for the second shut. She responded for me that I have to pay every time I come to this building!!!!!! You have to wait at the parking a long time before to give them your pet, still waiting for without a chance to ask questions or to speak with the vet, wait again to check out!!!!! If you are ready to waste money and time go to this place.

I took my cat in here thinking nothing was wrong and found out she actually needed an intensive abdominal surgery. It was so shocking and upsetting, but our vet was amazing, gentle, and explained everything so that we left their hospital with no questions. We ended up having to take her to another hospital that had the proper materials to be able to do the surgery. Our vet at Bethel helped us narrow down hospitals to take her to, gave us price estimates and even printed out my cat’s XRAY on a CD to take to the other hospital to cut out a charge. She had also written out what the hospital needed to do and check on a piece or paper. I see a lot of see-sawing when it comes to the reviews for this particular hospital but I really feel that they stretched themselves thin in order to get my cat’s surgery set up without and hiccups. I love them so much. P.S. She is fully healed and in perfect shape!

Long waiting time, poor value, only care about how to rip you off This is a walk-in clinic. They don't have a scheduling system. So, prepare to wait in your car for hours. The staff won't tell you the estimated waiting time. If you need to leave, they will just take you out of the line and you have to start over when you come back. Honestly, even BMV has a more pleasant scheduling system than what they have. The basic services here are expensive. My experience is that they take advantage of people's love for pets and only want to rip you off. In the most recent visit, I only asked for vaccines for my dog. They added a wellness exam without asking me. All they did was briefly checking my dog's body and teeth and trying to sell me vaccines I didn't ask for. Then they charged a $54 consultation fee. Two years ago, my dog had diarrhea. The doctor here did several expensive and unnecessary exams (X-ray, blood work, etc.), which cost me over $400. Then she told me they didn't find anything and just prescribed a few common used medications for diarrhea. If you have plenty of time to wait in your car and enough knowledge to know what kind of treatments are necessary for your pets, you may consider to come here. Otherwise, there are many other animal hospitals nearby.

Can't say enough good things about this place. The walk-in clinic is great. You may have to wait a little bit to be seen but you get seen that day, and the wait is usually not too bad. Staff is kind. Doctors are very thorough and answer all questions. Originally went to them when my vet didn't have an appointment opening but will probably go to only them from now on.

My fur baby is always excited when we go to Bethel Animal Hospital for her scheduled check ups. The staff are always friendly and the veterinarians are always very professional and ready to answer all questions. Most importantly they don’t make you feel rushed. Taking the time that’s needed for each client speaks volumes. I also board my dog here when it’s necessary and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.

Noticed my cat had not been using her litter box to urinate and our regular vet had no openings for appointments. Thankful for the walk-in clinic at Bethel Animal Hospital who diagnosed her with a urinary tract infection quickly and efficiently, out the door with antibiotics in hand.

I have taken my dog here for the past 2 years. It is a walk in clinic and that’s why I used to bring her in. But they make you wait for over 2 hours and the employees are totally clueless about the work flow and policies of the place. They give you wrong information on your pet. Even doctors there have told me wrong things about my dog. My dog had a semi emergency and I took her there. I called before I started driving to check-in in advance. But no one had a clue about the call when I got there. They made us wait in the car for 1.5 hours when the temperature was 90 degrees. Her blood was drawn and I was asked to call for results in the morning. I called past noon and was told doctor will call you back. For 3 hours no one called me so in the evening I called again and was asked to drive up there and get a print out. I go there and “unless doctor discusses the results with you, we can’t release the report”!! This is the last time I am going here.

After covid even though you check in before other cars, they help other cars before yours. My wait was one and a half hours. Really unprofessional. I’m planning to find a new veterinarian after this visit.

We have been coming here for years because they seem to be cheaper than other vets, but within the last year, their wait time has become ridiculously long. I have been here multiple times this past year and it has always been a minimum of a two hour wait time in your car before you get called in. You’re better off spending a little more and making an appointment elsewhere.

I came to this place because they said they don't charge for the dr. fee but they did and it's $53.... You can charge, it's nothing wrong about that but you just don't lie to a customer.

Best hospital ever. Our regular vet couldn't help us, and our puppy managed to get injured pretty badly. They has us immediately come in and perform the procedure asap. Great staff, super factual and kind vet. Thank you so much for helping our baby.

We've come to Bethel AM for 9+ years with our 90 lb goldendoodle. If your schedule needs flexibility, it's great to show up without an appointment. Usually we get in within 20 minutes, sometimes longer but that works for our life. The docs are consistently solid, and compassionate. Works for us.
