This facility sucks terribly. I normally go to the easton location but i had to book a appointment at the forest park location because easton was booked. Im not about to write up a long drawn out review, im simply going to say, if you value your pet avoid forest park banfield and just go to the easton location. They do not care about your animal the same as easton location (at least that was the story with mine). I will never go back to the forest park banfield for multiple reason. So, if you're reading this its more than likely because you're considering forest park banfield. Save yourself some grief and drive the extra 8mins to easton.

Unbearably slow. I've been waiting in my car for almost two hours for them to do a comprehensive exam. Other Banfields take 20 minutes to do this...I would like to add that they had my dog for 30 minutes prior to asking what needs to be done for this exam. They waited 30 minutes to start and then took an hour and a half to finish* *maybe longer, I'm still waiting

We've been going to the location for years. The day I needed a appointment for something really wrong I couldn't get one. Oh they are actually booked 2 weeks out. That didn't help with what I needed.

I used to have this company rated as 5 stars when it was Forest park Veterinary Clinic. Now that it’s banfield, it’s not even worth one star. I have been with this office for all of my pets the past 10 years and have never been as disrespected as I was by the practice manager(Tonya) of this facility. She was extremely rude and continuously spoke over my partner and I whenever we attempted to speak. Phone calls were “dropped” on numerous occasions without a returned phone call with Tonya knowing that we were upset and she did nothing to try and save a 10+ year customer with multiple currently active pets. The worst part was that the conflict was then turned back on US like we were doing something wrong - I called in to schedule my dog to get fixed and pay for a urine sample from her previous visit and ended up closing my entire account and will never return! if you need a vet please go somewhere else.

Our dog had some kind of crazy allergic reaction and this location came to the rescue, Thank you Dr, Mahoney and Tanya and everyone else that helped our big guy feel better!! This location is a standalone and way more convenient vs the other ones that are inside Petsmarts.

IF YOU MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, CALL BEFORE YOU GO!!! I now have seen other reviews citing the same issue. Scheduled an appointment the night before. This morning I called to cancel since my dog is acting her normal cheery self again. Turns out, they never actually scheduled my appointment. I was ready to take an extended lunch since the place is far. It was the only one that offered us the soonest appointment other than OSU emergency pet care. So ya, not going to call this one again... Thank God my dog got better, according to the other experiences, they’ll make you wait forever over their own failure.

Everyone makes you feel so comfortable. I was really nervous about bringing my new fur baby to the office without being able to go with him. Greeted him and kept me updated so happy.

I called this office to try to get my dog in to be seen ASAP because he was vomiting, drooling non stop (his fur was soaked), staggering, and having loose stool. I went over the symptoms with the lady over the phone and explained that they all started happening very fast (within 30 minutes) after he had been outside and ate something off of the ground in our backyard. I told her that I couldn’t get through to MedVet and all of the other places I called were full but was sent to them by another vet office. She said that I could bring him in but proceeded to tell me that he probably did just eat something that made his stomach upset and the symptoms could potentially pass and that I could just wait and see what happens. She pretty much downplayed what was going on and look I know when something is an emergency and I actually worked front desk in a vets office. The symptoms I listed were most definitely urgent so I was shocked at her dismissal. As soon as she started downplaying what was going on - I had enough. No way did I believe my dog was going to get the help he needed there. I said thank you and hung up. Thankfully I got through to my regular vet office and they just happened to finish surgeries early that day so I took him in. Guess what? He ate a poisonous mushroom that we missed from our yard (we walk our yard looking for them for this reason). We later identified it as a ‘Destroying Angel’ mushroom and its deadly. It came out in his stool while he was being examined by our vet. They treated his symptoms and thankfully he is okay. His pancreas was also very inflamed. They did IV fluids, pain medications, antibiotics and anti nausea. I am so thankful I trusted my knowledge and not the lady I spoke to or he most likely would not have been here this Christmas to celebrate. His first Christmas with us.

Best vet care for family and their pets. They genuinely care about the well being of your animals. Will not do unnecessary procedures and their prices are the best in Columbus, especially for the excellent care.

Dr. Little botched my cat's declaw and when I returned 3 yrs later, (after I'd learned of the mistake from my new Vet), she was rude and uncaring. The botched surgery caused ingrown nails that were very painful. She fixed the declaw for free, but wouldn't face me, never apologized, and offered no pain meds for my baby, (I had to get them from my new Vet). Building was also dirty. While the neighborhood was never good, it's gotten even worse. Dirty facilities, dangerous neighborhood, and poorly trained, uncaring Vet.

Friendly staff and vets. You can tell they love animals and want the best for them! They have great wellness plans that allow us to pay a monthly fee and most visits we walk out of the door with no bill.

This is THE Banfield for the Columbus area. Doctors are great and the staff is very friendly. Area of town isn't the greatest and the building needs some work, but I won't subtract anything for those.

Three visits in 5 week timeframe for same issue with newly adopted 10 mo old cat (first-time cat owner). Saw different vet each time with different diagnosis & prescription each time and no resolution. Asked on each visit about switching food and was advised not to. After costly prescriptions and no change, switched his food and he's been doing fine since. Bayfield is big on promoting their wellness plan, which I opted into but the medications prescribed were not included and were costly. With the plan they recommended (Tier 2), I pay a monthly fee and so far haven't paid for office visits or blood work, and a dental cleaning will be included.

I love this place so much. Every staff member here is super kind. The doctors are so patient and take all the time you need to to answer questions. They are literally the best vets I've ever been to. I highly recommended this location over the Banfield Petsmarts location. Way more friendly here.
