Puppywood Resort Cincinnati, Ohio

Both my dog and I absolutely love this place!!! It's actually better than a home away from home because they have all of these wonderful Canine Play mates for my dog. The human beings are wonderful with the dogs and are endlessly patient with my dog's need for as much ear rubbing as she can convince them to give her. They tailor attention to the needs of each dog and they really treat my pup like she's the queen! The facility is clean and secure and the administrative business is well managed. My daughter adopted her cat from the rescue animals that they foster and the cat was even happy to return to puppywood for a week's boarding. Puppywood is the real deal and sometimes I wish that I could stay there and play with all the dogs and people and cats all day long.

Great friendly staff. The gave a bath and nail trim during her weekend there. We’re now bringing her back bi weekly to keep her active while we’re at work. Great all around dog care for a daily visit or keeping overnights.

We took our 1.5 year old pitbull here for a about 8 months. She is high energy, and I just don't think they could deal with her. A few months in we would see on the camera that she was often separated from all other dogs . When we asked about it, they told us they were giving her a break from playing, which was probably a good decision, but they failed to let us know about any issues. Recently our dog was told not to return. There was an issue which I tried calling about 3 times to get details, but nobody returned my calls. I found it suspicious that she was asked not to return on the last day of her package, and nobody wanted to talk to me about a supposedly serious incident. Basically, if you have a high energy dog, I wouldn't recommend this place, they just don't seem to have the ability to manage. Also, sometimes this place is super overcrowded.

I was ok except when I was trying to call to check up on my dog no one never answer the phone .

They over fed my dog by 2 meals in one day because they don’t check the time that you say they eat that it has you put down when signing up your dog unless she’s “boarding or has time on bags”. Though I was never told that until after it happened. They also returned my dog back soaked in her own urine or another’s I don’t know. So now my car smells beautiful.

I have been using Puppywood Montgomery for both daycare and boarding for about one year now. I sometimes have to call and leave voicemails to confirm appointments that were scheduled online because I don't always get a response back via e-mail. Also their webcams are very inconsistent and always cutting in and out (5 of the 8 cameras are not working as I type this). Otherwise, very happy with the facilities and I know my dog loves it there.

This place has gone to the dogs - at least that's where ours goes on vacation. Very caring staff and nice grooming results.

Love this place. My dog is so much happier now that we take her there during the day. She gets so excited everytime we pull into the parking lot and just wants to run to the door to play with her furry friends!

2 dogs stayed for 7 nights before Christmas. Both dogs got a bad case of kennel cough (both had current vaccines) and the bill was waaaaay more than described. Between their charges, vet charges and meds it cost over $1,000.00. I stayed in FL for the same time for $65 a night... Never again...

I was in Ohio for a weekend with my hubby. We called everywhere to find a Doggie Daycare and as soon as everyone else found out she had never been there, the answer was no. I called Puppywood and explained my situation, told them I had my vet checked paper work to cross state lines and shot records. They told me to bring her and they would assess how she would do. She did great and when I picked her up, she had played herself out. I so appreciate them for that! Hard to have a rambunctious German shepherd in a small hotel room but she did great because she had played herself out.

Took my dog to the Anderson location and he got keenle cough. Don't take ur dog there. If it dog ain't never had it I promise it's something that u don't want to see ur dog go through... my baby cries in pain and cant eat... however they wont pay for the vet bill like they said but will credit us for free visits.. ummm NO ... MY BABY AINT COMING BACK!! I hope u can learn from what we are going through... it ain't worth the risk.

Doggie Day Care, Boarding, Nail Clipping all excellent. The People who work there love the dogs and the dogs love being there. After the first days visit, returned for nail clipping 1 1/2 weeks later and the anticipation and then excitement by our 11 month was unbelievable. It reminds of a young child visiting a toy store, candy store, amusement park. We have booked future schedules.

Dogs were happy however they came home smelling like wet dogs.

Friendly staff, decent facility. They have webcams all over the place so that you can watch your pup play with his friends. Boarding or day care in my opinion... they are the best.

Only place other than home would leave my 2 dogs.

Love this place and so do our dogs.

We just moved to the area and were getting ready to go on vacation. In the past, we've always left our two large dogs at home with a house sitter, but being new to the area, we didn't know of anyone so we boarded them instead. The staff at Puppywood were AMAZING! One of our dogs was absolutely terrified of the other dogs. She's a large shepherd mix but they knew that she needed help and they put her in with the smaller dogs. She was so much more comfortable with the smaller dogs and we could watch her on the web cameras and see that she actually wagged her tail and socialized with them. Our other dog did great with the "big dogs" and he also seemed to mingle well with the others. I highly recommend Puppywood!

My dog has gotten Kennel Cough from both Puppywood locations-beware.

Friendly and good with my dogs

This was our first experience with boarding our two large, older dogs. One of our dogs was terrified and the staff took the pro-active measure of moving her in with the smaller dogs where she felt much more comfortable. They also allowed the dogs to sleep together in a large kennel. We had them bathed and our Golden Retriever groomed and they did a fabulous job - probably the best grooming that he's had in the 12 years that we've had him. We highly recommend their boarding and grooming services.

I work at puppywood & I love it, the people are Awsome, kind, and love every single animal as there own.

We drive almost an hour to board our dog here! They have the friendliest staff who know our dog and call him by name when we enter the door. Rocky LOVES going to Puppywood! He gets excited as soon as we get off the exit and comes back so tired from playing each time!
