I absolutely love this store. Ran by volunteers, 100% of the proceeds go to taking care of the animals in need. The staff is caring and compassionate. Be sure to shop here for wonderful finds.

A very interesting place to shop, this place sells a little bit of everything from home furnishings to clothing. Proceeds go to support their animal shelter, so I'll definitely be back to help support such a worthy cause!

My new happy place! Smiling the whole time. So much stuff to look at and friendly volunteer staff! It’s a little rough navigating a cart around, but worth it! Lots of books, jewelry, pet items, and more! I freaking love dresses, even though I’m technically buying more laundry to do...

We stopped in one time in the past for shopping the thrift store and had a few good finds. We decided to try it today on a whim and saw a dozen cars in the lot as we pulled in. We entered the store at 3:55 and as we the door was closing behind us overheard one of the employees complaining loudly and indignantly, “People think that when we close at 4 it’s okay to come in a browse at 3:55!” My teen didn’t hear this and headed toward the clothing when we heard a yell behind us in our direction, “WE CLOSE IN 5 MINUTES!!” So our fun afternoon shopping together had a black mark on it from this experience. I told my teen that we needed to go because they were closing. On the way out, I saw another employee near the door and told her what we overheard, that we didn’t know they closed at 4, and that it made us feel unwelcome. She told us, “It’s just comments.” Too bad, as we like the idea of reuse and of supporting animal adoption. But I don’t want to shop somewhere if I might have to deal with passive-aggressive treatment from the employees when I’m there. Maybe you won’t have that experience. Unfortunately, maybe you will.

We adopted our rescue dog, Izzy (aka Xena) from Peppermint Pig. We cannot say enough about how they conduct their adoption process. Love our new dog!! Thanks

Good deals free parking. Help is all volunteer. All to help the animals.if you're moving or just plain cleaning out take it to the pig.no use wasting things you don't want someone will find a use for it.think of your pets being dumped out if you move your stuff can help them. Times are always the same just called a different name but the name is always the thank you for helping.????

Same exact comment as Joel down below. Same exact situation. Dreadful communication, professionalism, & customer service. For the adoption side- never received an email confirmation that my application went through- so tried to email. Got a quick response that they are going through them. Checked in again a few days later- no response. Cool- drove up there today during “meet & greet” & was told the pet had already got a home. Cool- very happy for that family. No problem. Wrote them again (while in the parking lot trying to console my crying children), asking if they could consider revising their policy of zero correspondence for non-selected applicants- received a lengthy email with a plethora of screenshots of how, basically, I should have read better. So interesting they took the time to “show me the errors of my ways” in a pretty intense email, but couldn’t just send out an email blast to all applicants that dog was no longer available. On top of that, she wrote a pretty passive aggressive: “ We'll be sure to let our friends at other rescues and the local shelters know that you're still searching for a new furry friend.“ at the end... am I being rescue dog “black-balled?!?” Lol ????

Don’t get me wrong this place gets beautiful dogs, but they will consistently pass up “perfect, more than qualified” families because they can charge a non refundable application fee for each of them and would rather collect cash than see their animals placed quickly in a loving home. For example my brother in law who is a cop with k9 experience grew up with German Shepard’s and was still rejected because they say they want it to go to a home with experience... how can he has more shepherd experience if he can’t rescue one. He’s just trying to get his lab of 4 years another doggie sibling... Also they prefer a home without cats without giving any family with other fur rescues a chance. I just wanted to warn anyone to talk to them before applying because they just want your money. I know $10 is not a lot but keeping the dog up for adoption just to keep the cash flow, keeps the dogs in the shelter longer and prevents them going to a nice home ASAP.

Nice "You never know what you'll find" thrift store. It is a little higher priced that the average thrift store, but the proceeds go for a worthy cause.

I discovered this thrift store today. What a WONDERFUL little place. ALL of their proceeds go to their animal rescue. The workers are VOLUNTEERS. Two of my favorite things, thrifting and helping animals. I will definitely be back. ❤

Packed with useful merch and nice clothes. The prices are ridiculously inexpensive and they have deals all the time. Holiday items are especially plentiful and cheap. Love the volunteers and their mission

I submitted an adoption request for one of their pets even asked if the dog was available prior to submitting the application. Followed up two times to see if the dog was still available and still to this day have yet to receive a response. I logged in today (2 weeks after my initial application) to see adoption pending for the dog. Still no updates on my application. I am a dog lover and anyone who knows me knows that any dog under my care is going to an extremely loving home. Thanks for your great customer service Peppermint Pig (insert extreme sarcasm)
