We have been taking our dogs to Clough Pike since Dr's Michelle and Phil started this practice. They are the best in every way in every visit! It shows that each staff member truly cares about our animals.

Love the Vets and the staff! My dogs seemed to enjoy our visits there. They were actually happy to be there! That fact alone made it easier to go to the Vets. Six months ago I had to euthanize one of my dogs. They were so thoughtful, compassionate and caring. It really touched my heart. They made sure that his last moments with me were pleasant ones, and I am forever so grateful! They've been my Vets for years and will remain my Vets until my last dog takes his last breath. If you want caring, compassionate people that don't make you feel like a "number" this is the place for you and your pets!

I moved to Amelia in mid ‘14. I made it a point to see every office in person before I committed to a vet. Dr. Phil showed me around (larger clinics made me wait for half an hour before they took me around, which to me is a giant red flag) and didn’t hesitate to show me the facilities since my dogs would be boarding there as well as being treated there. They always took very good care of my dogs. Even when I moved to Florida, I was gone 2 years and I called Dr. Michelle for her opinion on one of my pups. Yes, I could have gone down the street to UF and asked a stranger, but I trust Clough Pile and they knew my animals. Even between moving from Amelia to Florida, I moved to Mt. Washington, I still would make the drive, because good veterinary care is worth the travel! I highly recommend Clough Pike! They never steered me wrong!

They were very, very nice! So great to us! Helped us out in such a big way when we ran into a terrible emergency with our cat. Took special time out for us in order to see our baby immediately. Thank you so much for your guys' help. It means so, so so much!! Thank you!!!

We love clough pike. We have been bringing our puppy Luna since Jan and they are always so good to her. She was spayed yesterday and had to remove a hernia she was in alot of pain and they sent her home with pain meds. Prices are very reasonable and if you have a puppy the puppy package is the way to go! Thank you clough vet for taking care of my puppy

I have 3 cats and I treat them like they are my children. Recently one of my cats had fallen ill. He was vomiting everywhere and hadn’t ate in 24 hours. The closest 24/7 animal clinic was 45 minutes away, so desperately I called them within the hour they closed and asked if there was any way they could get me in. They were so generous to accept us so late. Upon arriving, everyone was super kind. They really took the time to get to know me and my cat before treating him. I will definitely be coming to this practice more often! Dr. Phil Kelch was amazing!

02.18.21 - My dog had appointment to get her Claro for her ears and Cytopoint for scratching. Never seen Dr. Kelch and he comes in talking down to me saying that Claro can cause Mercer. That he’s not going to repeat himself. He doesn’t need to understand. I have been going to this vet for a year seeing Dr. Santangelo. Dog has been getting both Claro every other month, Cytopoint every month. Special diet, no treats, no table food. She eats poop. No relief for the dog. I am told to leave because I wanted her records in December. I was overcharged at the December visit. Dr. Santangelo just saw our cat in January 2021. No problem. But Dr. Kelch made it a point to talk down to me, treat me like I was stupid. Why do all this. He could of just said at the time of the appointment we no longer want to service your pets.

I have been using Dr Phil at Clough Pike for years, the doctors and staff have always been, attentive, considerate and professional. They have provided my dogs and cats with everything from the usual routine care to laser therapy and acupuncture for my aging Newfoundland. I have always been very pleased with the service my animals have received.

Anytime we’ve called, they have gotten us in ASAP. We love the staff as well they are always very kind and empathetic to our needs. They also handle our “handle with care” pets with ease.

I've been taking my dog here for about 6 months since I got her. Yes they do get you in asap. But my problem is they do everything they can to run up your bill and do things without your permission. My dog ended up having conjunctivitis which is basically pink eye for a dog which they didn't tell me it was pink eye they made it out to be way worse. They did a dye test when they took her back without asking me. Or telling me what it does until they already did it. Then they come and tell me it's conjunctivitis. So they already knew what it was. Then to run my bill up even more. They go " I'm just going to check her eye pressure real quick" didn't tell me it was a test. That would cost me another 22$. Didn't ask me if it was okay. And the eye pressure was for glaucoma. My dog isn't even a year old yet. Dogs usually don't develop glaucoma until they're older. So they told me what she had and then to run my bill up they do more things without asking me, or telling me what the test is for and why. So don't go here unless you have alot of money. They like to take advantage. I will NOT come back here

We have been taking our pet rats here since we introduced rats into our family. The vet and the staff here are amazing and so very caring. I wouldn't have any other vet treat our little guys and gals.

We have been coming to Clough Pike since we moved to Cincinnati 9 years ago. Doctors Phil and Michelle are very knowledgeable and extremely caring. We have 4 dogs so we are there a lot! I can't thank them enough for all they do to take care of our fur babies. If you like a smaller practice with a family feel, this is the place for you. Staff is fantastic as well.

This place is great if you are okay with them putting you through the wringer. I have 5 dogs and have been unemployed because of Covod19. I finally saved up enough money for all their flea treatments and ordered it online. The RX was denied because they want my dogs to have a heartworm test done every time I try to order it. If they've been on heartworm and flea treatment why would they have heartworms??? I obviously can't afford to pay $50/dog for them to see them, then an additional $30/dog for them to get heartworm tested. I guess I am reduced to buying garbage from the grocery store as flea treatment. It breaks my heart when people and businesses take advantage of people during these hard times, and that my dogs who did nothing have to suffer because of it.

In the last 6 years they have been my furchildren's vet. They are kind, caring and do amazing work. They do not skimp on treatment. I have taken in animals that I've fostered as well as my 5 animals and I have never had anything but praise for every one at their office. If I could give more stars I would. They are amazing and truly care about the animals they treat. Unless it's an emergency I don't go anywhere else.

Dr. Phil and Dr. Michelle are great vets and listen to the concerns of their pets and owners. They genuinely care about the wellbeing of their patients. They go out of their way to make sure your pet is seen even on a moment’s notice. They even filled prescriptions for us within a hour of request so our aging dog does not miss her scheduled meds. I recommend the Clough Pike Veterinary Clinic to anyone with pets. They charge a reasonable amount for their expertise and empathy.

This place is great! I bring my dog here and the Vets are very knowledgeable and all the staff is very friendly. Their prices are very fair, couldn’t imagine taking my dog anywhere else!

Love this vet practice. Staff is always friendly and it always feels like Dr. Kelch and Dr. Santangelo genuinely care for their patients (and the humans!) and it always feels like top notch care. I completely trust their care and I refer all my friends and family to this practice

We have experienced great care with our dogs. They care for you when you are first greeted, they are gentle during the exams and vaccines. I have recommended them to my friends.

Today was our 1st experience here. It was a great experience getting our 7mos old puppy Dixie spayed. The staff & care we received was excellent! We have other animals & will be taking them here from now on. They were the most reasonably priced around. They did not require a Vet visit before hand like most do. So, we saved money that I’m grateful for. They did not require pre anesthesia blood work either. Again, we saved money. They allowed us to bring Dixie home hours after her recovery to be in the comfort of her own home with her siblings. This causes less stress on her & everybody else. Dr. Michelle called both myself & my husband to let us know how she did for her surgery. I’m thrilled to have found them. The entire facility is amazing, and the staff is great. When I moved into the area, they welcomed me and my kitties as though we had been going there for life. My kitties had always had issues with past vets, mainly because they were handled rather rough. Though they're great, its the little things that have kept me going back. For example, they have a chalkboard sign out front where they write all the pets' names that they have coming in that day. Little touches like that make this business wonderful.

Had to take our cat there today Called at 11:00am they were able to get him in today. The staff and vets were so nice and knowledgeable. The prices were very reasonable. Thanks again .We have now found a vet for our cat. Thanks so much

As a small breeder I wouldn't go anywhere else. Love love the staff and husband and wife team Dr. Phil and Dr.Michelle. We are not just patients who they barely know. It's like having a second part of family. They love what they do.
