This pet hospital has a great staff. They are friendly and very helpful. They treated my puppy like he was their own.

They are only in the profession for the money. No one here cares about the animals. Multiple experiences here. They didn’t have any openings within like 2 months while my cat was suffering so the vet “stayed after” to see us. Said they’d charge me a fee for that, 600$ later for an antibiotic shot that was much needed after multiple visits for them not diagnosing my cat properly for months, charging me everytime!! Now another cat of mine needs his prescription food refilled, and they can miraculously fit us in, but last week when my cat was in pain, they couldn’t help us. They won’t refill the prescription food, leaving my cat without. These people may be short staffed, like I am, as a business owner, but I would NEVER jeopardize the well being of an animal if it were my profession for money! Went to another vet and they helped my cat after one visit, they knew what was wrong with him, after years of dealing with Banfield who never bothered to diagnose him! The worst!!!!!! I had purchased the puppy plan for my dog and it suited us well. Once she was grown, we used an independent vet for several years. When adding a new pup to the family, we invested in the puppy plan again. It got her spayed and all of her shots and care taken care of for the first year. I highly recommend the plan! We forgot to cancel and the plan rolled over into the dog plan. I don't recommend it. It's more money and less care. I would just pay for a visit when necessary and upkeep of shots. This specific facility has always been nice. I drop my dog off and shop for a bit, pick her up and we are off. I do not schedule drop off appointments because they are unpredictable. I make an appointment for a specific time and doc, then because of covid, I leave (shop nearby) and return to get her following the exam etc. I like the convenience and the prices are reasonable.

I dropped my dog off at 9 am as instructed and was told she would be done between 12-2. After deciding to do an additional test it took an extra 1.5 hours, in the meantime she was sitting in a crate for all the time in between. No one ever called to tell us she was done. After being there all day, probably in the crate for 90% of the time she was absolutely traumatized. As soon as we left she was so extremely dehydrated she drank 2 bowls of water and proceeded to vomit multiple times because of the excess water she drank. I strongly believe that they did not give her any water even with her being there for hours on end. She also went to the bathroom immediately after leaving the store(in the store parking lot to be exact)which leads me to think that she was in the kennel for hours, pulled out for her exam and test, and placed back in the kennel With no bathroom or water breaks. I have never seen her so stressed. The employees also did not go over her exam at all and we found out only through her paper work of additional problems that they claim we “denied care” for. Problems that they never once mentioned to us . Can’t forget to mention the lack of communication about pricing. They told us this morning that a test was 100$, then when we decided to go forward with the test they said it was actually 300$ .We have a wellness plan for our other dog but we will absolutely not be returning to this location. Do not go to this banfield location.

The staff and the veterinarian at Banfield pet hospital in Bainbridge,Ohio was very professional and so nice my first visit with my cat BOO BOOS, I now have a veterinarian I could relay on and trust !! Keep up the good work. Rick

I've been taking my dogs and cats there for many years. They've always taken great care of my animals at a great price to My dog just recovered from surgery. Couldn't be happier her energy level is way up.

We have been taking all my pets to this vet for years without issues unless we get a certain front desk person or tech (not sure what her position is). She has lied to me on multiple occasions (telling me it's illegal to prescribe for an animal without an appointment even if they are established, telling me the veterinarian is in surgery when I highly doubt she was, was telling me anything just to get me to leave). I would like to point out that my cat was established with them, had been seen within the last 6 months, is on a wellness plan, and a medication I was asking for was part of the plan, so I was already paying for it. She also isn't educated enough for her role, she did not know that Lasix is the brand name for furosemide (a very commonly prescribed medication in older animals). Other than this specific worker we have not had issues. Also, sometimes seems like all they want is your money and don't really care about your pet.

We took our our 13 year old dog to the Parma Banfield for 12 years and were very happy with them. Then, we moved and transferred her care to the one in Aurora. She has had issues for the past year with mobility and incontinence. She has really declined over the past couple of months and has been regularly falling in addition to having near daily accidents in the house which she is so ashamed of, she quickly tries to eat it before we can see it. We made the difficult decision to euthanize her before her quality of life deteriorates anymore. When we brought her in, the veterinarian we saw came across as very judgmental and asserted that her only issues were arthritis, deteriorating sight, and hearing loss, but that her heart was still strong. He told us that "...old age is not a disease..." and "...with old age, adjustments just need to be made..." He suggested we could prevent falls by just limiting her to one floor of our house. Gating her off, isolating her from the rest of her family and making her sleep on the main floor alone when she has always slept with us, is cruel and would affect her already declining quality of life. He shrugged off her accidents and the fact that she eats it and suggested medications for the arthritis and pain. We believe that once a dog's chronic condition requires long-term use of pain medication, they are suffering. Euthanizing an animal, a member of your family, is a difficult enough decision. A veterinarian should never judge peoples' choice. This visit has drastically changed my view of Banfield, a place we have entrusted with her care for years.

After another location really messed up my records across 5 different accounts, Zach (the manager) spent over 2 hours working with me to resolve the problem. Corporate did not help even in the slightest. He is an outstanding employee and I trust him when he says he has it taken care of. Give the guy a raise, he's competent and very thorough.

After taking my kitten twice for the same issue they finally said we were giving her too much water. They went ahead and did a urinalysis my significant other specifically said dont do then gave us a 70$ bills for a test we declined. We asked to cancel our membership we had for all of one month because we will never be returning they said you can pay for the full year but they cant cancel it.

Dr. Beach is the lead vet and is terrific. She is competent to say the least and loves every animal she cares for. I highly recommend Banfield and Dr. Beach.

For the cost of the visit it would have shown that the staff was attentive if they would have wiped off the infected ear and started treatment.
