The staff is great. The handling of raw food is beyond horrid. The amount of bags I've bought and have had to scrape off freezer burn for my cat to eat is absurd. Yall are awesome but teach your staff the understanding and proper handling of raw food. This goes for all pet people stores not just this one.

We went here for the first time this morning and was immediately greeted by an associate Heather. She was amazingly kind and helped us find appropriate foods for both of our cats with dietary restrictions. She knew a lot of helpful information and got us both set with food options that both of our cats loved.

Everyone has an opinion on how you raise your pet. It’s like parenting, no one ever thinks you’re good enough. I’m still haunted by my interaction at his store, and I wanted to give a word of caution to all working dog owners. My dog was in a service dog program at the time I visited this location. He had been recently switched to a martingale from a harness. I don’t need your staff pointing out that “he’s choking” and “he will cause serious damage to his neck” and “you need to buy a harness from us, I’m sorry I just have to say something because you’re hurting him.” My dog is now a certified service dog in the state of Michigan and has always been professionally trained. Furthermore, they had a large golden retriever wandering around OFF LEASH. The reason my dog pulled at the time was because said off-leash dog was very much in our space and incapable of being recalled. In the working dog world, service dogs in training may NEVER enter a space with an uncontrolled animal. If you would like to make it difficult for pretty much everyone working CGC or above by adding unnecessary distractions, by all means, keep an animal off leash in your establishment and say they’re “helping.” Very unprofessional. I left immediately.

DO NOT GO HERE TO GET YOUR DOODLE GROOMED!!!!!!!!! I cried when I saw my hairless puppy:( I specifically said that I wanted her trimmed and fluffy to even her out. She was returned shaved with hair only on her ears and point of tail. I take very good care of my doodles hair and brush her everyday all that work I spent making sure my puppy has no mats so she could keep her fluff. So upset, disappointed, and will never be going back.

This place is a hit and miss considering who is on shift working. Some of the ladies are super knowledgeable and very helpful and some just don't engage at all

Always have a great experience here. I love the broad selection of dog food that is well made and lots of both grain and grain free options. Staff is always friendly and helpful!

Big selection of premium dog food, was able to find food that doesn't upset my dogs stomach. Very nice and helpful staff. Is like whole foods for pets! I definitely recommend stopping in to spoil your pet!

Bit on the pricier side, but well worth it. Great variety / selection of quality products, staff are super friendly and helpful ( never had a bad or even less than pleasent experience), and has a self serve dog washing facility. They also sometimes do training sessions (not sure about covid times though) for things like clipping your pups nails. Pretty much my go to place for any time I need something for my two fur balls.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I get all my food here. I also get birthday treats for my dogs here at a reasonable price. Great rewards program that beats the bigger chains. Sign up for the emails to for weekend bonuses.

By far the worst pet wash place I have ever been too. I have never been to a self wash that doesn’t have conditioner and when I asked an employee they said well you can buy it.Cold water, rude employees, and since when are you taxed on a self dog wash? And also to charge 12 dollars for a dog wash and the dryers were absolutely junk!! By far the worst self dog wash place I have been to I will not return!!

This place is fantastic, and so are the folks who work here. They do their best to remember their customers and really make you feel valued. There's a great selection of high-quality food, neat collars and leashes, and other supplies. Everyone's very knowledgeable about the products and they inspire confidence in whatever purchase you make. So glad I found PetPeople!

I really like the option of curbside pick up. I just call, the associate picks up what I need and you pay over the phone. They always have great tips and suggestions. Love this place!

Heather and her team are amazing. I didn't know they offered rooms for me to wash my puppy. They even provide soap. How convenient! I shall return.

Expensive store for uppity dog owners to spoil their pets with healthy treats. Also, the best place in the A2 area to bathe large dogs like Optimus Prime here.
