I can not thank Dr. Solc and her team enough. From the receptionist to the doctor there is no doubt that everyone there has your pet's best interest at heart. Dr. Solc is so knowledgeable and thorough. She takes her time with you and your pet so everyone is on the same page for the best outcome. She has ended a miserable journey of biopsies and misdiagnoses and now I have my happy girl back. Thank you for all that you have done Dermatology for Animals.

Dr Stoltc correctly diagnosed my cat's skin issues, which were treated incorrectly by other vets. She was very thorough in explaining what was needed, what steps we needed to take and in finding the vets we need for the remaining treatment. The vet techs were wonderful, and very helpful in assisting in the care of Mimsy.

I’m very grateful my vet recommended I take my cat here for her mystery allergies/itching. Dr. Flanagan was so great over the phone and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. Curbside vet appointments can be frustrating for me because sometimes it feels like you can’t ask all of the questions you want. Dr. Flanagan stayed on the phone with me for almost an hour while I told her all of my concerns and asked my questions. She also didn’t push for us to try any pricey treatments/trials because it’s not necessary right now. She helped me make a plan I was comfortable with for my Cookie girl. I emailed them late at night with a question and the vet techs responded first thing the next morning with clear answers. They were so kind and I felt that Cookie was in great hands!

My experience has been good to date. It's a slow process trying to figure out dog allergies, so I don't have a lot of feedback to give at the moment. Overall, the staff is very friendly.

Our tech Becca was so kind, caring and compassionate. Very calming and understanding, she is one in a million. Truly genuine and her bedside manners and customer relations is second to none! My labradoodle needed dermatological help in the worst way. My former dermatologist retired before my doodle’s condition was maintained. Dr. Solc in Akron worked with Max for over 9 months and now he looks and feels like a new dog. She is patient and kind and works her magic at every visit.

This was an absolute waste of money. They charge you $200 just for a visit not including all the tests and medications. This was my last resort for my dog and it was a horrible experience. They gave me a medication for my dogs allergies that made him very sick and I had to rush him to the hospital. Spent over $500 for these idoits to make my dog even more sick! Dont bother going to them.

We have a 2 year old neo mastiff that is dealing with several issues. We were recommended to Dermatology for Animals. Within two days of seeing their staff asks starting on meds we saw a huge improvement. The staff was awesome, super nice and knowledgeable. And really want to help our guy get better. As a new patient, our baby received exceptional care! There was a reasonable amount of time between initial phone call and the appointment which shows a genuine concern for the well being of our furry family members.

My cat sees Dr. Jazic at Peak Veterinary Hospital in Burlington, and Dr. J is fabulous! With his expertise and advice I have managed to keep my cat's troublesome allergies completely under control for the last six years. We are lucky to have him in Burlington now and then!

My wife and I were depressed before driving out to the Akron facility. Our cat Digger had been suffering from FHS and had not responded to treatment for months. Our vet suggested Dermatology for Animals. I had been out to the building before when my son's pet had surgery and we thought this long drive was our last chance and that we had a hard decision to make when we returned. Our mood changed when we talked to the vets there. They were experienced, compassionate and very knowledgeable. Dr. Lewis recommended a followup treatment, providing Digger with a shot and a new diet that has worked wonders in less than a week. Before, Digger was attacking himself multiple times daily, throwing himself on the ground and self-mutilating. He was on phenobarbital to control the seizures. Now we have cut that down to a single pill dosage, we hope soon to eliminated it completely. Digger is purring constantly and he is showing signs of real comfort, with no attacks for almost a week. His itching had triggered the seizures and they appear gone now, or just a brief minor annoyance. He sleeps well and is continuing to return to normal (not hiding out like a hermit all day). We couldn't be happier. We highly recommend these guys.

Dr. Lewis gave us hope that we will be able to work with Gracie's condition to get positive results. Alexa also showed great care and concern to Gracie. Karen was also very helpful and kind. Excellent care of my dogs skin issues. Prices seem a little high, but it is a specialty practice, the reason for only 4 stars.

I have taken my dog to two other vets over the last year to year his skin condition that was causing all his fur to fall out. They performed numerous tests and tried multiple antibiotics and other medication with no success. The vet at Dermatology for Animals recognized the disease immediately and started him on a treatment plan that showed remarkable results in just a few weeks. The crustiness on his skin is gone and his fur is growing back. The staff have also been very pleasant and knowledgeable.

A very organized, caring and easy access facility the caters to the dermatological needs of our pets. The doctors and staff take the time to explain clearly what is going on, and listen, as well, to our questions and concerns. Their plan for successful treatment of the problem is based on sound results of tests and thorough examination of our pets. Both you and your fur baby will be in very good hands.
