Dr. Weidinger is a fantastic vet who had cared for our pets for 12 years. We tried other vets when we first moved here, but they were high pressure and we didn't get a good feel from them. The techs and the veterinarians here are loving and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Cant recommend this place enough! I take my cat & dog here and they always take such good care of them. I recently got my dog spayed here and they made sure she was taken care of and comfortable and even called the next day to see how she was doing. Glad to know my babies are always in good care here!

Yesterday I had my 1.5 year old dogs leg amputated due to cancer. DR. Weidgler was absolutely amazing! She answered my 100 questions lol, and made me feel like she was truly invested in my sweet boy. It's so rare to find a doctor that cares more about the animal itself than the bill. She is who I would recommend to anyone! So blessed to have met her and to put my sweet boy in her wonderful care. Thanks Dr Weidgler, you have no idea how much we appreciate you♡

I cannot say enough great things about this practice that would do them justice. Everyone is genuinely caring and loves the animals they see. Their team has seen me sooner than an ER and reached out to me afterwards to see how my dog was feeling. If you and your fur babies become a client there, consider yourself very lucky because everyone there is absolutely amazing.

I just brought my dog Olive here after her being a patient at VCA Todd’s Lane since we moved to Hampton in April( EXPENSIVE AF!!!!,VERY COLD/RUDE DOCTORS, $700 for an unnecessary X-ray w/sedation!!!! I could go on and on????) and it was amazing!! Dr Ward and the vet tech were so gentle and caring, and I was allowed to be with her during the exam , which is really important to me????VCA would take her out of the room for her 2-second exam, and I never saw either of the 2 vets we‘ve seen, interact with her whatsoever!!) very strange and unsettling !! Dr Ward and staff were so friendly, very affordable and offered me the generic of the very expensive $$ Carprofen( almost $50 for 14!!! at VCA!!!)which saved me alot$. They were on time for her appointment, I never felt rushed discussing treatment,and left there feeling very confident Olive was in good hands. I highly recommend !

Everyone is always so nice, just wish they were boarding the animals as we had to go animal suits where she didn't know anyone.

Each staff member very committed to our furry family! Always feel at ease with any treatment decisions and recommendations! Boarding services are great as well. I never worry when we have to leave our Big Boy for a stay! He loves everyone and every pet there:)

I’ve recently moved to this area and needed some routine care for my 10-year-old Sheltie. Dr. Ward was personable and professional and the staff was great. Definitely recommend!

I have been using York Vet for over 30 years; since before Dr. Weidinger bought the practice. There are many good vets in this area but I always boast that I have the Best Vet!!! Dr Weidinger is caring, compassionate, very smart and the practice is reasonably priced. I recently had three dentals on on my cats and two of them require intricate teeth removal surgery. Dr Graham is so impressive, she took a special interest in my kitty Flame who was a hot mess from head to toe. Got his mouth straight and his diabetes went into remission. My other cat Brody has intestinal issues and she got her straight too. I have dealt with Dr Defratis as well. I just cannot say enough good things about this Vet Practice. I have 7 cats and work in cat rescue. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE! And Dr Graham gets a paws up approval from Flame.

York Veterinary Hospital is wonderful. All the doctors and staff are excellent. They give you the upmost care for your furbaby and follow up the next day to check on them. I never had a problem getting my dog in seen when sick. I APPRECIATE all that they do to keep him healthy.

Absolutely wonderful! Our normal vet couldnt get our dogs in for a week evwn though they were both very sick! York Veterinary Hospital got our pets in extremely fast and they were also very affordable! This will be our vet from now on! Thank you!!!

This was our first visit. The staff is so helpful, taking history over the phone and getting us in for 'new puppy' visit quick. They are very upfront about charges and offer choices to help save me money which my former vet didn't do. We have another 'new puppy' visit for our newest baby and I'm actually looking forward to it.

I needed to find a new vet for my two emotional support Chihuahuas and had asked on Facebook and quite a few people had recommended York Veterinary Hospital. After I also checked and read some of the reviews, I decided to give them a try. The receptionist I dealt with was so nice, informative and helpful with scheduling my appointment. The day of our visit went so smoothly, no long wait time and more than gave my dogs adequate attention. They were very patient and kind and kept me informed about everything. They understood my financial concerns and didn't make me feel pressured to get anything extra done. I loved the staff and look forward to them caring for my fur babies! My dogs have been doing great and no more excessive itching! Thank you York Veterinary Hospital!

It's been awhile since I've came here.this lady (forgot her name)she was really nice and supportive when I had to put my dog to sleep..I miss my baby so much...I recommend coming here..

Gotten worse every year. Since they added on, customers have been treated less like a family and like a customer in a fast food joint

I took my cat here in May for a UTI, but wasn't allowed inside due to covid safety measures. When I got him home and let him out of the carrier he could barely walk, was hunched in a ball with his tail between his legs, hobbling around and falling over crying in pain. He had no previous medical conditions, and had been perfectly mobile before his visit. I have no idea what happened in there because I wasn't allowed, but he hasn't been the same since. They prescribed him painkillers and scared me into believing he had a degenerative disease that suddenly took a turn for the worst. I had to flip my life upside down taking care of him as he has recovered from an obvious acute injury, and had to seek follow up care at a different facility. I asked to be reimbursed for the medical costs due to his injury. At the very least the medicine they charged me for on account of the injury, but today a month and a half later, they have told me they won't assume responsibility or reimburse me anything. I will never return here, and my family members are leaving too. They don't have any business practicing veterinary medicine if they can't recognize an acute injury.

Very professional and good doctors they have here. I highly recommend this place.
