Wonderful and caring people. The only one around who also treat chickens. Thank you!

I was compelled to leave this rating based on the rude and unhelpful way the staff dealt with an individual who brought in an injured Osprey. The staff made no attempts to gain consent from rehab staff to pass information to those that brought the Osprey in. That person and with no help from the Vet, ended up finding the carer via a live Facebook stream of the Osprey being rehabilitated. They made contact and the Osprey was able to be returned to it's nest and it's fledglings, thanks to the persistence of those that found her and in spite of this animal hospital making no attempt to ensure she was returned home.

Very impressed by my first visit to Grafton Animal Hospital! Just moved into area and brought my Caique for an exam and beak trim. Dr. Neuhaus and staff proved to be friendly, knowledgeable and caring! They took excellent care of my bird and gave me some thoughtful tips regarding diet and foraging for my parrots. Based on initial visit, I made appointments for my other birds as I’m confident that they will be in good hands!

Kind, professional, it is so obvious they are animal lovers!

This place repeatedly tried to upcharge throughout the appointment, and charges absolutely ridiculous fees for normal routine care visit. I'm a big animal lover and have several pets and have never seen costs approaching this. Just one example- same medication that cost $90 at our other vet costs $160+ here. Will be making the longer trip to our original vet instead.

No one to answer the phones. Had to call Carolyn and tell Fozzie ???? was out side for his appointment. Still can't go inside.

I brought my cat here for a wellness exam and ended up sitting in the parking lot for over 2 hours. I tried to call multiple times over the course of an hour and got no answer. When we finally got ahold of them, after an hour, we were told they forgot about my cat. Very disappointed as this was my cats first time going to the vet which was scary enough for him and then he was forgotten about. Not to mention that I spent over 2 hours of my day in the parking lot with no updates and no way to contact anyone inside as the doors were locked and they were not answering the phone. We will not be returning.

I love Dr. Neuhaus. She is so kind and gentle. And she really takes her time with your pet and with talking things over with you. I felt valued and heard.

Very grateful ???? to have found them! We lost one bird and needed to get our other bird assessed and they got us in quickly and were very informative and efficient. Glad we took her in because she definitely has something going on. They came out with our baby and gave us a quick show of how to administer medicine (with a stuffed birdie) which I thought was great. Doctor was thorough and took time explaining her diagnosis. Glad to know they are there with an exotic team. Thanks to everyone there from Roo-b and her humans.

grate care plans staff was nice during the first visit but when I had my dog neutered there they called 2 times a day everyday just asking how he was doing and started getting an ATTITUDE when I was not calling back I work days they are closed by the time I got off work ALSO if you have the care plan and they do anything be sure to ask if it is going to cost because they will not tell you tell it is done and they are calling you asking for payment method I thought that the bloodwork they wanted to do was covered turns out it was not and i had to pay over 200 for them to take blood from my dog and test it just for it to come back fine for whatever was off the first time

I brought my 8 month old puppy who had just gotten hit by a car to their hospital 40 minutes before they closed and I told them what had happened and they refused to see her because they were “about to close” so they shooed us off all because they were closing soon, I do NOT recommend bringing your pets here

The staff was kind and caring. The doctor was polite and pleasant. My dogs were just getting rabie shots and are well otherwise. The thing I would like to emphasize is always get a price clarification and what will be done before the visit. I did not think about their are dogs that are to sick to get rabie shot and that a physical exam is always needed to see if they are strong enough. Having said this my price went up into almost $$. Although, I was give a courtesy reduction because one of my dogs had been there last of last year., which was great for me. But it can hurt your wallet not knowing a head of time what your cost will be when visit is over. Ask first the price, so you can pay after the visit.

Grafton Animal Hospital is great. Their staff really cares about animals and treat mine like their own. Dr. Moore is an absolute professional and a skilled surgeon. She takes the time to study and stay up to date on new info in the medical field to ensure my dogs are getting top notch care. My dogs are always excited to go in. Would definitely recommend!

Grafton Animal Hospital has taken care of my dogs for 5 years. The staff are always friendly & thorough. When we drop them off for boarding, Lucy & Tooker are always enthusiastic. They seem to enjoy the attention they receive.

If I could’ve given zero stars, I absolutely would have. Grafton Animal Hospital is a scam. Everything is great until you have a very sick pet. They prey on emotional people with sick animals for money. They’re infamous for trying to quietly slip in charges and performing services for you pet before telling you anything about an extra cost. We’ve brought our pets here for years and it’s an extreme disappointment to have to switch providers now. They didn’t care that our dog that they’ve seen for years was internally bleeding and they wouldn’t even consider trying to get us a sooner appointment without a multitude of fees. Save yourself a world of trouble and choose another vet.

The last few times we have been there especially during these scary horrid times, you seem more and more concerned about payment than caring. Money was discussed more than our very very sick dog. I have been there for years and referring people for years but the turn over we have seen in employees and no consistency with how we are treated. My dog came there 2 days ago 8-25-2020 and is deathly ill and never did anyone ask about payment plan or give us option just that we needed to pay right away and here we are 2 days later with no results. We were told they would get back to us the next day. Nothing! The status they gave that day I found on the internet and don't know anything $400 later than I did from what I read on internet free. She is worse now and still have not heard back. The last time we came there same thing. I don't know that there is any compassion at all or at least now towards my dogs and we have been coming there far too long to be treated like this. Our last visit a couple of months ago with our other dog...we saw a growth and were scared. Again, they were very vague telling you it could be this or it could be that and wait until your scared to death and then start adding more and more fees they think you should do and you do them because you don't want something to happen and you are vulnerable. On top of that, nearly $900 they talked us into a monthly health plan and we said yes because again they have these discussions when your at the weakest most vulnerable. I believe we stayed because of our long time friendship with the groomer Carolyn and she is best groomer and really cares about the pups.

If I could give this place 20 stars I would. Even with the madness of Covid, they were so prompt with everything with my fur baby. We had to make the most difficult decision to put her down and the kindness they treated us just went above and beyond. They allowed our family to come in and say goodbye to our family member and even allowed me to just stay and grieve our loss even after she was gone for as long as I wanted/needed. They never rushed me. They checked in often and made sure I knew that I made the right decision, even though it didn’t feel right. They told us it would take a week or 2 to get the ashes back and we got a call like 2 days later saying she was ready to come back home to us. She was put in a beautiful wood box and they even did a paw print in clay with her name on it! Even after all that, less then 2 weeks later, we received the sweetest card in the mail with a bunch a little sweet messages in it for our family even though they barely knew us and our baby. I will never see another vet in the area and will always recommend them. They go above and beyond and just their kindness and warmth really made the difficult time a little bit easier. Thank you so much to this staff for everything!

We brought our newly adopted cat to GAH for a complete checkup and tests to determine his condition. They were very helpful and took all possible precautions against Covid19. Turns out our young adult kitty was in fine health. GAH helped with food recommendations, flea/tick medicine and hairball supplement. We liked their team a great deal.

Grafton Animal hospital used to be very accommodating and reasonable. Not sure what has changed but now they seem to only be about the money. Charging ridiculous fees and making us wait hours to see our dog. I think they forgot about us and tried to play it off. I would not recommend them at all.
