Our puppy had surgery and when I went to pick him up he was still highly medicated and after they handed them to me ( he couldn't walk) I was told they were out of cones. Where do I get cones? Just buy one at PetSmart. What size? " I don't know" just ask someone. Can I talk to the vet? Too busy - in a meeting - We signed up for the puppycare plan and that's the only reason we're staying for the next 6 months. Found another vet we go to when the puppy is sick. They just have too many animals going through there, Also, if you add the heartworm and flea medication to your plan they only give it to you one month at a time, so you have to keep going back monthly.

Took my cat there for his first visit because my mom takes our 4 dogs there. I was absolutely OUTRAGED by the customer service. They were extremely rude to me when I was trying to sign up for the yearly membership for my cat. They told me the $150 I paid during his appointment were going towards my membership but as soon as I was signing up for the membership they told me they did it under my moms name and wouldn’t switch it to mine. I stayed there and calmly tried to resolve the situation but they were so insanely rude to me I wasn’t able to solve anything. I then asked them to cancel any appointments my cat may have with them as I’m not paying for services when I’m being extremely mistreated by staff. My sister got a call today asking about my cat missing his appointment when I literallt cancelled his appointment weeks ago after being mistreated by them. I will never step foot in that place again and after my 4 dogs yearly membership is over neither will they. Please know you guys lost 5 pets services due to how you guys treat customers.

Banfield hospital and their staff have been a blessing for our family and our fur babies. We've used them for the last 5 years and they have been great in the caring for our fur babies. Today was one of the hardest days because we had to put to sleep our oldest fur baby Dakota. The staff at Banfield was very caring and respectful for our family during this hard time. We'll continue to use them for our current and future fur babies.

They are very over priced. I went in there telling them that my dog had an ear infection and I needed a solution. They charged me $98.50 just to tell me that my dog in fact does have an ear infection. This almost $100 did not include nor a shot or anything to help me dog. Medicine for my dog would be $300 to almost $400. Money hungry.

I have been a LOYAL customer of this banfield for 7 years. However, that apparently did not matter after my experience today. My dog had an appointment at 10:30AM, we walked in 8 minutes late and before I stepped in, the front desk called me telling me the appointment was cancelled due to me being late and said the appointment was at 10:15AM. I told the front desk lady no, my appointment was at 10:30 and we were walking in as we spoke. She told me to bring her my email showing the appointment time. Upon showing her, she still stated the appointment would need to be rescheduled or I could do a drop off visit. My dog has extreme anxiety and does not do well with drop off visits as the kennel stresses him out. I asked the receptionist if there was a better time for me to come today with him so he wasn’t in the kennel all day and she said she would check with the vet. She came back and said the vet said no because she could only see my dog at the end of the day after her other appointments.. that made zero sense to me as I told her I would be happy to bring him back at another time. They did not work with me at all, they didn’t even have the appointment time correct from my confirmation email, and it seemed like the vet just really did not care to do her job. As many times as I have waited in the lobby past my appointment time for vets that were running late and 8 minutes is all it took for them to cancel my appointment is completely unacceptable. How piss poor of people that care for animals.

I had an appointment at 1.00pm. they changed it to 4.45pm as my puppy had to see the vet they said. All she needed was a parvo booster shot. I got there 30 mins early and let them know I was there. I waited right before my appointment and she then proceeded to check me in . Oh I needed to get confirmation from my daughter in law before they would see her.i told them she was working and could not answer the phone.i had been sick with a migraine for over 2 weeks and she was past her deadline for her booster and asked please just give her her booster as I had come from an hour and a half away. No was the answer they where closing in 10 mins. I must reschedule.

Called to gain assistance with my dog who was at the end of his life cycle this weekend. I have Been a loyal paying customer for many years. Upon calling , I Was told they don’t have time to talk or create a plan to have my dog seen. Took my dog to another vet same day. Called to address the situation Today to be told they don’t have time to talk again. Canceled my wellness plan contract for my other animal. Best money I have ever spent leaving this so called Vet. I’m still waiting on that call back. I Don’t expect to hear from Anyone considering they won’t talk to you when you really need assistance. Don’t waste your money or your pets time. Negligence seems to be a common and accepted practice with this sorry excuse for a Pet care practice.

These vets brag about taking clients money. Serious issues with service. Overcharge for everything. Could care less about my pet's serious pain.

This has been my best experience with Banfield. I had to go to this one, since we are out of town. They were gracious enough to get me a next day appointment. Dr. Hanson was wonderful, compassionate, and kind, when she called to give me an update on my dog. I wish that I could go to this one all of the time!

I called Banfield hospital (Feb. 23, morning in Wilmington , North Carolina (New Centre Drive) to see about getting an appointment, because I knew that my dog was going downhill, in fact she was dying. They got me in for 3. I went in with my son, and they took my dog, and a few minutes later, the Dr. Elinor Hart came out and told me that she was dehydrated and had dental problems, and arthritis. I already knew this, and she told me that if that was her dog, that she would go ahead and get all the testing done, which would cost me a lot of money, and I declined because I knew that my dog was dying, because she is 18 years old. So, I feel that she was trying to make me feel guilty, if I didn't run all those tests on my dog and pay a bunch of money for something that I knew was not going to work for my dog. Dr. ELINOR HART, did however, convince me to pay out $140 for intravenous liquids, to help her with her dehydration. Which in the long run did not help because she died anyways. So she did get money off of me anyways. My initial quote on them just going in there to look at her was $48, and I ended up spending well over $200. Dr. Elinor Hart sent me home with my dog, and I went and got the prescriptions, which cost me over $70. And even though I knew my dog was dying, I KNOW that the doctor knew my dog was dying, yet they sent me home with her and did not even give me a choice to have her put down so she would not suffer anymore.5 hours later, she died on front of me. First of all, the doctor tried to give me to pay extra money for test that I knew was irrelevant with an 18 year old very very sick dog. Then, they never gave me a choice to have her put down. My main intention of going there yesterday was to not bring her home, because I did not want her to suffer, they did not give me that choice and after that it is very wrong and something needs to be done about their practice ethics. Also, the next morning, I talked to the manager then filled, and told her what happened, and she said that if I filed a complaint, that it would come back to her anyways. So I was very disturbed about that.

Today was horrible at Banfield. One sales associate that was interrupted three times during a simple transaction! She left me hanging while she addressed each little inquiry...leaving me just standing there wondering what the heck is going on....She was not friendly, did not speak up thru her mask and addressed me with her head towards the desk! I guess good help is hard to find in Wilmington!

The staff was amazing for KiKo's first visit and he did great being a mommas boy and all. He got shots and came home like nothing happened. I have decided to make this vet my KiKo's primary vet very pleased.

If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would. Unprofessional doctors, completely unprofessional care, doctors don't really care for your pet they treat your animal like just another number. Do not go there if you want your dog to recive quality and honest care. They put you on a wellness plan, jack up the prices of the services and than show you how much you saved. It is al big B*****. I treated my dog somewhere else my dog would still be alive today.
