we went for vaccines for my cat. we weren’t greeted when we walked in, we let them know our cat was mean and they tried to grab him, he wouldn’t let them so they put the gloves on, my cat got mad and tried scratching the vet and the vet dropped him on the floor and instead of apologizing he just huffed all mad and was like “we can’t work on him like that.” very unprofessional behavior. if you work with animals you should understand not all are okay with being grabbed by strangers and getting mad was not helping the situation. if you love your animal, i wouldn’t suggest this place. look elsewhere.

We’ve had multiple pets in this vet. My dog became very ill. Call them they scheduled an appt. When I arrived I was told the appt was an hour earlier and my sick dog could not be seen. I was given the option of bringing him the next day or they would give me the Emergency Care Vets phone number in Cary. I said he is very ill and needs to be seen. I walked out and no one cared that I was leaving upset with my Dog. As I walked out the door they asked us he still vomiting? I said yes he is. They were open until 7:30 that evening and refused to see him. If they don’t feel it’s important to take care of my dog if he’s sick they aren’t concerned with his health at all. I have moved to another veterinarian. They gave him an injection for vomiting and did X-rays and bloodwork. He’s back to normal now. Too bad that he had to suffer another night because he’s vet didn’t care if he was very sick.

I started going here out of convenience and proximity to my apartment but I'm definitely changing vets soon. I took one of cats to get spayed here and 1. They didn't call me to pick her up, I had to call them. 2. They sent her home without extra pain meds saying she'd be fine. 3. When I called the next day requesting pain meds they basically told me no and that they've never had a cat need them. He's an old school vet so maybe they think cats don't need to be as comfy as dogs after surgery but my other cat was spayed at the Vass Clinic and they were great and that cat was alot better even the next day since they gave her pain meds. It's major surgery. They deserve to be comfy.

One of the most caring Docs you'll meet, and much more affordable than other locals. They dont have boarding or I'd probably use him exclusively. Years ago I brought in s stray kitten I'd found at work, didn't even know if I'd keep.him. The Doc was so.thorough, called me back seemingly excited and had me look in.the microscope going on about how we weren't even supposed to have the kind of parasites he found in the kitten's samples in the state of NC. As I stood staring at a random kitten's stool sample hearing him knowledgeably and animatedly going on about the little ones health, I knew I'd keep coming back and he legitimately cared....

Dr. Davis goes above and beyond to ensure your pets best care. He took time out of his day off to meet me at the office to give me medications to help my dog with an ongoing problem. Grateful for the care he and his staff give.

My husband and I took our new puppy to this vet for a general check-up and because he had been scratching a lot. He had flees when we got him but we got those taken care of and he continued to scratch, so we knew there was something more going on. Our puppy had a stench that just would not go away even after 3 baths. So we knew it had to be something other than fleas. When we got to talking with the Vet he kept saying that it probably had something to do with the fleas and that his skin was just dry or was repairing itself from the fleas and all the scratching. We were told to just wash him with an oatmeal shampoo and that would most likely fix the problem. So we did that but it didn't help. Later that night our puppy began to scratch uncontrollably for 30 minutes at a time. so we brought him up into bed with us to try and calm him down and keep him from scratching so he could sleep. I then felt something crawling on me and when i looked it was a little white thing that looked like a grain of rice. We then looked and found them all over the bed. In the morning I decided to take him back to the vet. I didn't have an appointment but I got there as soon as they opened and there was no one else there. The vet looked at me with a hateful look and asked what I was doing there and that I didn't have an appointment. I explained what happened the night before and he gave me the medicine for tapeworm. I asked if tapeworm could cause him to scratch so much and he said it could but it was probably the fleas. I got him back home and he continued to scratch a lot so I decided to get a second opinion. I called All Animal Hospital and they got me an appointment the same day. Turns out our little guy has a bacterial infection that the vet discovered from a simple skin scrape. The vet at Maple Springs did not listen to us when we explained what was going on with him and he had an attitude as if he did not care to figure out what was wrong with Rex. If you want to make sure your pup is getting the care they need and the right treatment DO NOT take them to Maple Springs.

First off, the only reason i even gave a star to this vet is because it would not let me post without one, otherwise i would have given it a negative. I would not recommend this clinic for absolutely anything. I have been unhappy with their practice and way of doing things for a while, (too many things to start listing) but continued to go when i needed meds because it was convenient. This morning, we woke to our 13 year old rescue dachshund bloated tremendously, appearing to have bled from her mouth all night and was vomiting blood and having seizures. We called to ask if we could bring her in and have her put to sleep. Cathy’s response was something to the affect, that Dr. Davis didn’t believe in putting one down until he had examined them and that would require an office visit of $57 and $70 something euthanasia fee, and she could do that NEXT WEEK. Today is Wednesday. No compassion has ever been shown by her for our animals, it has always been about a dollar. Dr. Davis is great, but you have to get past her. I would not recommend this office to anyone. Because of her office practice, I know of 4 clients who have left in the past 3 months and taken their animals somewhere else, all because she couldn’t fit them in with an emergency situation. I am a validated client of this clinic, and taking my pups somewhere that can care for them when I have an emergency like today. Sadly, I had to have my pup put to sleep, but Sanford Animal Hospital was able to do it and we were on our way as soon as we hung up the phone. They helped make the worst day ever bearable, by taking care of our pup and us as well. Again, I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

For both visits, we never were moved from weight scale to a room for exam and some comfort. We will be traveling back to our previous vet of 22 years. Moving 38 miles doesnt change the amount of care, compassion and dedication that our pets deserve. We as owners are expected to do no less. Kildaire animal medical center in cary nc is the place for genuine care and service.

We just recently lost our beloved Maggie dog. Dr. Davis and staff were so kind and caring throughout a difficult time. They even sent us a beautiful bouquet of daisies! Dr. Davis is truly a caring and knowledgeable veterinarian who isn't about pushing the big $ procedures. Highly recommended.

Dr. Stan Davis and his wife, Cathy, are both kind, caring, and go the extra mile. This has been my experience with Maple Springs. I took my cat, Mouser, in because his eyeball has been scratched during a scrap he got into with another cat. Very frightening for me as it was possible he could have lost all or some sight in that eye. Dr. Davis' skill and knowledge saw Mouser through the injury. No loss of sight at all! Wonderful vet and staff. I couldn't be more pleased with their services.

I have had the best personal care for my dog. They have always let me be a part of the visit. My dog even goes straight in and goes to the scales ready to be weighed.

We've been coming to Maple Springs Vet Clinic for nearly three years, since we moved to Sanford. Our pup, Rose, loves the staff there, and has received nothing but the best care. When we see them out in public, Dr Stan and Kathy always ask about Rose's health and happiness.

I took my cat in for her yearly checkup and shots today. I've never seen her so calm. Everyone was professional, informative, and kind. Most importantly, they obviously cared very much for animals and treated Fiona like she was their own cat.

I love the Doctor. He was very nice and good to my pets. The service was kind, gentle, prompt and well done. I never felt pushed to purchased anything other then what I needed. This will become our vet office from now on.

My husband and I have been taking our dogs to Maple Springs for around 2 years now. Great customer service would be an understatement for this clinic. Dr. Davis, Cathy, and Rebecca are all very friendly, polite and kind. Your pets health and safety are their first priority. They are willing to work with you in anyway possible to make your pets experience easy and stress free. They are all so very informative and explain everything that is being done to your pet and why. There isn't the stress of having your pet being taken behind treatment room walls, so that you aren't able to see what is being done to your pet. They have purposefully made it to where you are with you pet at all times (during updates and general procedures). They are so very personal and all around great people. It is always a blessing stopping by Maple Springs Veterinary Clinic. Their prices are wonderful and fair. You can have peace of mind taking your fur baby to Maple Springs. I guaranty that you will not be disappointed!
