I was very unhappy with my visit. I received a free puppy visit from the AKC, so maybe that was reflective in the care that my dog got, but I was paying for extra services which they forgot to do. But the worst part is they kept trying to place my unvaccinated dog down on dirty surfaces. Including a scale open to the entire public as the office is located in a pet store. They brought him back to me covered in pee. And he was being seen for a UTI.

Poor treatment my dog died within days after being seen my Dr Wiggins more should of been done the whole vet team is awful. Go somewhere else where the vets actually have compassion for your pets.

You go on line and make an appointment then you are supposed to bring your dog on at that time just to be told to leave her/him for what could be up to several hours. They state this is a covid thing. In any case so much for the cookie cutter chain pet hospitals.

Went to try and get one of my dogs in at the same time as my other dog. Was told he’s not due for another couple months, fine. He’s tagging along with me anyway today, he’s my buddy. Come back to pick up the dog that I dropped off, ask if I can get flea medicine for my buddy that’s been tagging along, get told I need to make an appointment…????????‍♂️

My dog had an ear infection and was able to get treated and some meds the cost was kind of steep but they did have a coupon they gave me $50 off of my first visit so instead of paying $250 my Benji got seen for 200 bucks and we got another pet sibling for him while we were there due to the fact that the location is inside of a pet smart store and I brought my daughter with me and she had some money it couldn't resist getting her dog a guinea pig brother

They saw my kitten on a Saturday even though they were completely booked. She had gotten a fishhook stuck in her leg. They did a great job, it didn't cost an outrageous amount and everyone was very caring. Great experience.

We have really tried to see the good in this practice, but we reached our limit. Our household pets were under duplicate profiles, so someone at Banfield kindly combined them under one phone number. Apparently, when they moved everything over, they lost all of my dog’s vaccination records and wanted to basically start him as a new patient just to get a Cytopoint injection that he gets regularly. So now my dog is itchy and uncomfortable and they can’t get him in until late next week. Also, we always have to push back on their pricing because they’ll charge us for unnecessary services. We took our cat in because he was having issues with allergies and sneezing. They wanted to do an expensive procedure for my cat because they thought he was coughing even though I said to 3 different people he was not coughing. Lastly, it was a struggle every month to get my other dog’s thyroid medicine. They wanted him to come in for several office visits and blood tests to get a baseline for his levels which is understandable, but every time they said my dog wouldn’t need a test for another 6 months, they would forget to add refills to his pills and try to make me come in for an appointment. They’d also fill pills one month at a time, just to waste my time in my opinion. It’s just a tiring experience every time and we’re moving on.

A few months ago my dog was bitten by a snake. I rushed her to the vet and they made space for me, took really good care of my dog and kept me informed about everything that was going on. Dog made a full recovery. Very happy I chose this vet office when I moved to this area.

Took my dog to get heart worm test. He needed a refill on his heartwarming medication. He didn’t have heart rooms so I requested his prescription to be filled by chewy.com. It’s almost later. I called and I was told the vet could not sign his prescription til the next day. My dog needs his medication it’s a new month but he has to wait and receive his meds late be careful of Banfield will not sign and fax his prescription.

We were referred to this location after our local Banfield vet could not provide a service due to COVID interruptions. When I called to discuss my dog’s care and schedule an appointment the receptionist was incredibly rude on the phone. As a prospective client I’ve never been treated in such a demeaning manner and with so little compassion. We will be taking our pets elsewhere and will no longer be visiting any Banfield locations.

Very disappointed. Called to schedule for a dental cleaning. I specifically asked for my benefits to be reviewed to make sure I was covered. I was told I was and I went ahead and scheduled. Then I show up to my appointment to find out that I was not covered. I drove 30 minutes to get there and waited 20 minutes to be seen to be told that my dog was not covered. The first mistake with me by the person on the phone who did not perform his job well and did not bother to check my benefits correctly. Second mistake was made by the lady in the front we should be checking benefits and left you know before you fill up paper work and take dog in the back. What a waste of time and day!

Doctor Diem is very compassionate about her job and the animals she cares for. When I was going through a very rough battle of tetanus with my husky she called and checked on her daily and always answers all of my questions.

Very satisfied with this vet! They took good care of my dog and were very professional and the staff was very helpful! Plus, their fees were very affordable! Definitely look into the pet heath care program.

Finally can feel secure about my dog having access to a vet and being able to ask questions. The plan is affordable for us.

I have a wellness plan with Banfield in Sanford, NC. Although I believe the plan is worth the money, it’s the additional red tape and recommendations that are extremely expensive. You can take their recommendations for problems your pet has to another local vet for half the price (or less). I don’t recommend them if you have a small budget...you will get nickeled and dimed. I’m canceling my plan this year after four years and literally thousands of dollars. Each time I go in for a routine appt for the plan, my lab has another skin or other issue that I am always told will require an outside lab abs more fees for verification per their rules. They can never say exactly what’s wrong without more tests, referrals, and procedures.

This place use to be AMAZING! Staff was great, compassionate, and over all treated all of us like family. However within the past five months we have had nothing but trouble with this place. From front desk staff hanging up on us. To telling us prior to covid that they only had drop off appointments, from being interrupted numerous times during a telephone call to then being told we can no longer use this vet office because we were "hostile" all because we asked staff to please stop interrupting us and putting us on hold for the 4th time, as well as being told we could and then couldn't, then could, and them couldn't bring out pet in. Lack of communication is what we were told is the reason behind this. We have never had an issue with banefiled but the lack of compassion, the attitude behind staff and what ultimately drives this company....money has left us with the disappoint. The doctors were amazing and compassionate but unfortunately the front desk people are the ones that set the tone and have that initial conversation with their clients. Special thanks to Kayla front desk staff for always being helpful and supportive of our animals needs.

I used to be very happy with the service here. During my most recent visit, I took my dog in for an injury and swelling in her ear. I specifically told the receptionist, Lisa, that her ear was injured and she was very sensitive on it. She then touched her on the ear trying to get her on the scale, which I was already working on. My dog bit her when she touched the injury. Then on the way out, that receptionist proceeded to make a comment to a Petsmart employee about being bit aand people can't control their dogs while that employee was at the register checking out my purchase. The Banfield staff then reported my dog to animal control without ever discussing the situation with me. When I found out, I went to speak with the manager who was only concerned about the "embarrassing and unprofessional comment" on the way out the door. She did not feel employing people at a vet who can't interact with animals was a problem. She also had no issue with a receptionist touching my injured dog. Yes, receptionist, not tech or vet, a receptionist. I suggest finding somewhere else to treat your pet.

Caroline went above and beyond to ensure things were explained. Can't say anything about the services as I did not have them completed at this time.

This was the most disappointing vet visit I’ve ever had. No one seems competent of doing their jobs at this location. When we were trying to check in, the lady tried telling me I didn’t have an appointment, yet my dogs name was on the board. Then another woman comes over and says she moved the appointment and when we asked why it was moved and why no one told us, they acted confused. After waiting an hour, we finally saw the vet. I felt like she didn’t answer any of our questions, and what really made me mad was when the girl at the front was trying to tell me about the wellness plan, the doctor came running out to pull the girl aside. When the lady came back, she said “the doctor wanted us to let you know this is a 12 month contract so even if something happens to zoey, you still have to pay the 12 months” as if they’re expecting her to die! Never going back here again. I ended driving 40 mins to Holly Springs the next day and was much happier with them.
