They were great and friendly staff

Great groomers (Tina & Karen). Very friendly and caring staff! Our dog was groomed perfectly. Updated Aug. 2020: Scheduled an appointment in August with Tina. When we arrived there was a new groomer. Denise the owner told us Tina & Karen were no longer at the Gentle Groomer. Owner Denise did not bother to call and tell us. We felt trapped, so we left our baby with the new groomer per Denise. Came to pick her up per schedule and she was not ready. Had to come back 2 hours later. When she was finally ready, it was not a good groom. Pink skinned places on the face were visible. Anal glands not expressed. Worse groom ever. Will not go back to the not so Gentle Groomer.

My Yorkie is NOT the easiest dog to groom. He's a handful during the process but with patience and experience it can be done. Tina did an EXCELLENT job in a short amount of time. CASH OR CHECK ONLY! I definitely recommend them for your dog grooming needs.

The Gentle Groomer did an incredible job on my 10 year old Golden Doodle yesterday. Besides the fact that their fee was extremely reasonable, it was the best grooming he has ever had! Thank you!

The Gentle Groomer does a wonderful job grooming my pet and she absolutely loves going. They treat your pets like precious children.

Tina did great with my little guy Rocky. I've had three groomers in Salisbury, two that I hated the end result and one that was tolerable. This was a great price, easy experience, and she was very kind during this difficult time. Definitely recommend highly!

We just got home from picking up our fur baby. We could not be happier. We are new to the area. We have a 7 month old Maltese who was way over due for a grooming. She had never been groomed before. I stopped in just to chat with them and they were very welcoming and they were able to work her in the same day. They did a beautiful job and treated our little girl kindness and patience. She looks amazing! I highly recommend them.

They really care and love the dogs. I am confident they treat my dog with dignity and respect. I appreciate their expertise and quality work. I would recommend to anyone!

Great place to take your dog!

I took my Amelia for her first grooming since a puppy(she is 5 yrs old now) and when I picked her up now only did she look great, she was very happy; all my worries of how would she do with strangers, sounds etc was put to ease, I knew she had been well taken care of and her new cut was awesome! Thank you Gentle groomer for servicing my fur baby!

Not sure who they have answering the phone, but she is EXTREMELY rude and should not be anywhere near a customer service position. I’ve called twice to ask a few simple questions (i.e. if they had any appointments available that week; if I needed to bring my dogs rabies proof in or if they called the vet to verify themselves) and she was absolutely one of the most rude people I’ve ever talked to. Every word out of her mouth sounded like she was annoyed I was wasting her time. I was looking for a new groomer as our old one moved away in April, but why on earth would I give my business OR take my baby somewhere where they think it’s okay to talk to customers that way?! If that was an employee, (same woman answered both times) then she should be fired. If it was the owner, I have NO idea how in the world you have any clientele.

They did an awesome job taking care of my dog! Bella is so comfortable and relaxed going to them! They treat the animals as if they were their own!

Took dog for nail trimming got in and out in 5 minutes.

Very helpful and accommodating. I'm an out of towner and was in desperate need of getting a bath for my dog. Despite being fully booked, they squeezed me in and did a fantastic job!
